Mediocre at best. We came here on recommendation during a recent trip to Walla Walla, and it did not live up to the hype. It looks so cute from the outside, but inside is a little dive-y. I ordered a pasta with vodka sauce and, unfortunately, it had very little flavor to it at all. The breadsticks were good, but seemed like they may have come frozen. Our service was fine - we had made a reservation for our group of seven and arrived right on time. We were seated promptly, but this was definitely a no-frills dining experience. We found this gem in old downtown Walla Walla for dinner one evening. They were dog friendly out on patio so we gave it a shot. Our waiter was very friendly, quick and helpful when it came to helping pick out items. The menu was plentiful and i was excited that it was Coke products for drinks as i was the one in our party that does not drink wine. You have to try the marinara & Alfredo dipping sauce with the breadsticks! I was grateful that i was able split the lasagna as it was so good but too big for a single person. Ordered take out since the online site said they closed soon. I ordered pasta with "chicken tenders." For anyone ordering, chicken tenders were baked (maybe boiled actually) chicken strips that was a chicken breast and cut up. It wasn't breaded. Literally just a chicken breast. If you're eating healthy, this is awesome! I wasn't eating healthy, so I wish I had some breaded fatty goodness. The chicken was not seasoned very strongly... so have some salt and pepper on hand. Overall the food and service were pretty average, but the ambiance is very cozy and nice after a day of walking around. We ordered eggplant Parmesan and clam linguini, and my main gripe would be that my eggplant was too saturated by sauce for my liking. Let's get the bad item out first. The chairs are very uncomfortable for anyone who is a bit larger than they should be. Fortunately the food made me forget about my chair. The bruschetta was amazing. Tasty oil and balsamic along with olives, tomatoes, garlic and more. Eight pieces for eight dollars and well worth coming in the door. You might say the menu is limited but we had linguini with marinera and meatballs, and alfredo and vodka sauce. Both were tasty and filling. We brought enough of each home for lunch. Wait staff were timely and friendly. The food was hot and the price was in a good range. We are not wine drinkers and we were to full for dessert. The photos on the wall were great. First time going here. They have gluten free pasta! Nice outdoor seating area with fire pits on the tables and heaters in the tent. I got the gluten free pasta with the Vodka sauce. Sauce was delicious! Had the Prosecco with was great as well. My mom had the linguine with the pink sauce and my step dad got the chicken Alfredo. We ordered the clams and linguine with a Caesar side and "the cheese" flat bread pizza with the sauce on the side. The order was delayed due to the initial flat bread being made with sauce, not a big deal as it was corrected. The caesar was no different than a bagged salad with a few industrial croutons and what looked like canned dried parmesan. The bread sticks were a little under cooked and sprinkled with more of the same dried cheese. Flat bread pizza...small and weak. The clam linguine had a good amount of clams in the shell but the sauce was very watery and bland. Large piles of the same dried cheese was sitting on top and added some needed salt but not much else. This may be good for Walla Walla but would fall flat on its face anywhere else. The incompetence runs deep here; we will NEVER go back. Please note, I write almost exclusively 5-star reviews. Let me count the reasons for the 3 stars: 1. Despite being seated promptly and the order also being taken in a timely manner... and breadsticks/ salad coming out quick THE ENTREES ARRIVED OVER AN HOUR LATER! 2. Even after 3/4 of our table was served, one kid didn't get her grilled cheese for another 20 minutes. This is inexcusable. 3. The eggplant on the E. Parmesan was cut way to thick and therefore nowhere near edible. It was uncooked/ damn near raw in the middle 4 the inexperienced wait staff did not check in with us, try to explain the long wait, or even look to see if our drinks ran dry while the seemingly endless wait went on and on. Please note that the staff did acknowledge there were issues without us even complaining....aside from me asking about the very late grilled cheese. They did reduce the bill by half. If this had not happened you'd be reading a 1-star review. Still, with inedible food, poor service, and a painfully long wait, I'd suggest you try a different restaurant. read more

We decided to give this place a shot even though it's Yelp ratings weren't great. That was a mistake. The service was good but the food was not. We started with the spinach artichoke dip and it came to the table luke warm with big chunks of cold cream cheese inside. My main course was the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken and sauce was flavorless but not horrible. The worst part was that it too was barely warm.. Wifey had the Chicken Panini and she found it to be "cold and tasteless". Junior had the Chicken Parm and it was probably the best of the three but he'll eat anything and like it. read more

Don't let the name fool you into thinking this is some National chain, it's not. They make all of their pasta fresh and the sauces as well. Sadly they were out of eggplant Parmesan so my husband opted for the chicken version instead. He loved it! I had pappardelle pasta with vodka sauce and added shrimp. It was delicious as well. Fresh pasta is soooo much better than even really fine dried. My house salad was delicious and the dressing was tangy and applied in the right amount. My husband ordered a Caesar salad and what was delivered was not a Caesar salad. Not the right lettuce or dressing. When asked about it, the server very sweetly said, oh that's the way they make a Caesar. He didn't eat it. I think we'd go back for pasta if we're back in Walla Walla but at least he will not be ordering Caesar. They have a full bar and a nice wine selection as well. read more

I love this place. The Alfredo is sooo flavorful and delicious. Great service, nice family owned place with rly fresh taste. I like eating here, nice vibes and not too stuffy, a step above casual without being too much. Life hack: I like eating at home so I order just the Alfredo and it's very cheap and then I just make my own pasta. If I eat there though I literally bring my own Parmesan lol. Good food and great service. The Pasta and sauces tasted fresh and made on the spot. I had the linguini and clams and my wife had lasagna. Both were really good and our server was pleasant attentive honest and very helpful. I hope we can go again sometime soon! We haven't been eating Italian food much when do in our for a long time because it's often one or another version of Olive Garden. Pasta factory breaks that mold for us and is clearly it's own thing. Italian food is simple and it's pretty traditional so you can't expect to get too far away from something you've had before but this was really good food cooked right there right then. such a nice experience here at the pasta factory. in a great location downtown right in the main drag so if you sit on the patio it's perfect people watching. to start, they bring you yummy garlic bread sticks. they taste homemade. the menu is extensive. if you like italian food, you will definitely find something here you like. on one side they have all the dishes they make, such as ravioli, eggplant and chicken parm, etc. etc. and on the other side they have a make your own menu- where you pick your sauce and then you pick your pasta and you pick your toppings. it's a fun concept. I ordered the chicken parmesan and my mom ordered the fettuccine shrimp with vodka sauce instead of alfredo. the food was fresh and delicious. the pasta tastes like they make it in house. i'm not sure if they do. the shrimp was cooked perfect and the chicken parm was so good. I loved every bite! our server kaylee was absolutely the best part about our meal. she was so sweet, so attentive, and made the experience so great. she even brought my mom a blanket when she was chilly. so nice to have a server like that. the host was really great too. First of all, let me say that it pains me to write this review, knowing how difficult it is to get help and how difficult it has been for the hospitality industry. That being said.....we had reservations at 7:30; finally got seated at 10 to 8. Drink orders were taken but not delivered for another half hour (just wine; nothing fancy). We ordered entrees, which come with salad......another half hour wait for the salads. Entrees were delivered roughly another half hour later. Husband had chicken parm; it tasted like pressed chicken. I ordered mussels; tasty, but 6 of them were unopened, meaning unsafe to eat. No explanation, no apology for the tardiness of the service. Had we have been told there was only one chef in the kitchen, we would have understood. Poor service and mediocre food. Will not return. read more

Came on a Saturday night as a group of 9, the servers went out of their way to seat us quickly and we had a great dinner. Getting our drinks and breadsticks was quick and efficient! The side Cesar to start was extremely good (should add it as a main with protein options) and my shrimp fettuccine was yummy. I really wanted to like this restaurant, because of all the chit chat I'd heard about the new PASTA Place! Well it failed in so many ways! The special was neither lemony nor a hint of garlic touched my lips! The pasta which is homemade was stick together and uneatable! My sons Rigatoni was undercooked and the vodka sauce was broken! My other guest had her pasta also glued together! The wine was good but when the bill came they had overcharged us on the two glasses we had! Service was prompt and with a smile, two of us had pasta with choice of sauce, one ordered the house salad, and we all ordered meatballs. Had the chicken Alfred. No salt in the pasta water so no taste in the pasta. Chicken was a breast cut into 4 chunks and sliced in the wrong direction so it was almost impossible to cut at the table. Synopsis: This place is good. Come here and enjoy yourself and be ready for good food. First time here. The server Mary was professional and friendly and always available on a whim to all customers. Mary is an asset to this restaurant 1. I ordered an average Orange Italian soda that came with whipped cream on top for a drink. The drink was good but the was a bit steep at $3.25 2. Later, I ordered a nicely dressed house salad that came with house made dressing. It tasted better than other "house salads" at other locations. Although the dressing was a bit too runny for my taste, it worked with the salad. 3. Later, I was served "non house made" breadsticks that were actually actually served with no dipping sauce or butter dish which I found Interesting... however, the breadsticks were tasty nonetheless. 4. For dinner I ordered the Chicken Alfredo. Truly the standout prize of this restaurant. It was PERFECTLY cooked. Good portion of Chicken on the dish. The Parmesan cheese was correctly infused to the sauce. There was ABSOLUTELY no salt or pepper needed once it came to my table. The "house made pasta" was "perfectly prepared and cooked to order". And while it can't be held against the restaurant necessarily, we didn't find it very kid-friendly with swearing neighboring tables, one patron doing a headstand nearby, and one visitor making multiple COVID-19 jokes and joke-coughing at other patrons.
