We were planning to give Green Lantern Tavern 2 stars, but settled on 3 because the service was…read morefriendly. Our biggest disappointment was the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich. Since the menu didn't indicate it was grilled or served hot, we expected a traditional cold sandwich. Instead, it arrived hot, which quickly wilted the lettuce to the point that we removed it. The ciabatta roll was also underwhelming--it was soft throughout and lacked the crisp, chewy crust that ciabatta is known for. The tater tots were just okay and seemed a bit overcooked or possibly freezer-burned. We were also surprised to see a charge for splitting a meal. We rarely ask to split dishes because my husband typically eats much more than I do, but it's the principle that bothered us. In today's dining environment, charging an extra fee simply to divide a plate feels outdated and unnecessarily nickel-and-diming customers.

My friends and I had been waiting a long time to get a reservation here and it did not disappoint!…read moreThe hour-long drive in the country with beautiful topography and a quick tour around historic Waitsburg helped to lull us into a relaxed mood for the evening. Everyone and everything contributed to an incredible evening in a laid-back atmosphere - with a special shout out to Erin, the hostess, and Tyler, the bartender, who worked as a great team to make all the guests feel welcome and at-home. Cocktails, antipasta and pasta dishes, and desserts were all delicious! Plates were served family style so no FOMO (fear of missing out) anxiety! We tried almost the whole menu (which changes frequently) - and then ordered more to take home. Yes, it is THAT good! I would order everything again, but my favorites for the evening were the perfectly-ripened heirloom tomatoes in a tonnato sauce, the campanelle pasta with chanterelle mushrooms in a sherry cream sauce, the tagliarini pasta with Italian black truffles, and the flourless chocolate torte with cream. We did not get to meet the chef, Mike Easton, but we are grateful that he has honed his culinary skills and love of Italian food so that others can have such a wonderful experience! Grazie!!

Visitors to Walla Walla should AVOID this restaurant in the evening, in my opinion. Take‑out feels…read morelike an OK option to me. In my personal experience, the vibe here changes noticeably from the day shift to the night shift. During the day, the atmosphere has felt family‑friendly, but at night the local crowd has felt aligned with an alt‑right vibe, and the bartender's style struck me as a kind of cosplay‑MMA persona. To me, that combination comes off as obnoxious and made me feel uneasy. I personally worry that some people there might not be above things like vandalism, theft, or even violence -- that's just my perception based on how the atmosphere felt to me. I'm not claiming anyone there committed those acts; the only documented issues from that night were my stolen keys and slashed bike tires, which I reported to police. I think this place is fine for monthly theme parties, and it feels family‑friendly during the day. But at night and on normal weekends, I personally feel much safer and have more fun at Beer Parlor or Public House. Food is fine, and most of the staff seems good in my experience. It says "bicycle parking," but I personally would not park my bicycle here after dark. My bike's tires were damaged on a previous visit, and I don't want that to happen again, so that's just my personal caution..

Looked around and saw she was the only one taking orders. When she came over we ordered food and drinks. She let us know she was by herself and that it would be a 10 minute wait on the drinks because she was slammed. Asked her why she was alone and said it's not usually that busy. I felt bad because she was running around bringing food and drinks. Working in the customer service I understand and we waited patiently. I really liked her and how nice she was. I never got her name but she had bright red glasses. Food was great! Had the fancy green salad with apples, nuts and raspberry vinaigrette. It was a big portion. Along with that I had braised beef which was delicious! Kudos to our cooks and waitress, we definitely be back!

The drinks are amazingggg although we did have one person in our party that was under 21 and his options were limited or extremely pricey for being nonalcoholic. We got a couple of appetizers and several pizzas and all we fantastic. You cannot do substitutions on signature pizzas which I'm sure some people will find as a bummer but with so many options there is something there for everyone (or you can make it). This is a place I will be recommending to people when they come into town. The ambiance can't be beat and the food is incredible, even though it comes in at a heftier price tag.

We had a fantastic experience with takeout from Fiasco during our Walla Walla wine weekend…read more Everything we ordered was delicious and paired perfectly with the wines we brought back to the house. The garlic fig pizza was amazing and definitely the standout for our group, but the margherita and pepperoni with hot honey were also excellent. The mushroom bruschetta was super flavorful, and the large salads were fresh and generous. We ordered enough food for 8 people and everyone ate really well for around $130, which felt like a great value. The takeout experience was easy, food traveled well, and honestly it ended up being one of our favorite meals of the weekend. Highly recommend if you're visiting Walla Walla -- especially if restaurant reservations are full and you want a relaxed dinner back at your hotel or Airbnb with a good bottle of wine.
