Loved the tree lined entrance and small barn where dinner is served, so cozy. The Abeja team did an amazing job. The food was so delicious, beautiful presentation and perfect portions and the wine pairings were out of this world. Nice cozy, setting beautiful dinner space absolutely will be back.

The Kitchen at Abeja was an amazing experience. The grounds are beautiful. The dining area was beautiful. The staff were amazing. The food and wine pairings were perfect. Really, a perfect evening.

This is fine dining, best meal we have ever had. It was multiple courses and each was as delicious as the last. The environment was great and so was the service. Perfect way to spend our third anniversary and will be back soon!

Seldom does a restaurant earn 5 Stars and an A + review. The Kitchen at Abeja served one of the finest meals my wife and I have ever experienced. Further, we stayed the night and the breakfast was both delicious and creative! I cannot give these folks a better rating. We will travel from Boise to stay again!!!

This restaurant just opened in July of 2021, and it's a bit hard to find until they add signage. It's not in the Inn at Abeja, but next to the winery. So when you go up the driveway and park you need to walk to the back and right. For a restaurant so newly opened, they are doing a lot of things right, and I'm pretty sure this is the most upscale dining experience in Walla Walla. The dining room is under the experienced direction of Tom Uberuaga. Winemakers Dan Wampfler and Amy Alvarez-Wampfler also visited our table. The tasting menu was created by Elodie Li, a young chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Seattle, and with Michelin experience in France. She also made a point of visiting diners' tables. Highlights of the tasting menu included a wonderfully complex Amuse Bouche of cherry tomatoes, and a stunning dessert with flavors of blood orange and Earl Grey. Chef Li notes she isn't a pastry chef, but she certainly could be! We also enjoyed the Tenderloin course, especially the oyster mushrooms in Cabernet jus. As one would expect of a brand new restaurant, there were a few missteps, but nothing major. The dining room was much too bright, but Tom indicated dimmers were already being installed. It is also a bit noisy, but that may be addressed with some softer floor treatments. Service needs a little polish, and some dishes would have been better served on warm plates, but overall everything was quite good. A wine pairing of Abeja wines is available and fairly priced, although a broader range of wines might find better matches with the food. Over all I would say this is a must -stop restaurant for all foodies visiting Walla Walla.

My husband and I came here for the 5-course tasting menu. While the property was beautiful, the restaurant disappointed. The Dungeness crab and the heirloom tomato appetizers were not memorable. Served cold, it did not help with the freezing temps of the restaurant. I was wearing shorts and my husband had to grab me a blanket from the car since I was so cold. The meal started to improve with the sea bass, although the portion of fish was the size of the fork prongs. The Denver steak really redeemed the menu; it was so tender and had lots of different flavor profiles. I loved the accompanying vegetables too. We also thoroughly enjoyed the unique white chocolate tart. Not sure we'd come back for the restaurant but may try to book a stay at Abeja.

Fantastic find of a place! Excellent BBQ and reasonable prices. Not a full service cocktail…read moreplace but drinks made with their spirits were good. The first thing is coming in you get that rustic lodge feeling from the woodwork and decor as you get hit with that smokehouse aroma. No better way to get you hungry and set the mood for BBQ. Just yum! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She was attentive and checked in but never intrusive, hovering and did not ignore us once served. Tried a flight with Huckleberry, Berry, Cinnamon, Espresso and Walla Walla Sweet Onion (they "tree in" the espresso). Could take or leave the berries espresso and cinnamon were fantastic while the onion was interesting. Had a Bloody Mary with the onion and it was good. One table mate had the loaded potato with Mac and cheese and pulled pork. The noodles were bigger than skinny boxed and very tender. The cheese was creamy and flavorful and the pulled pork was tender and juicy and jam packed with flavor but could have been a bit more smoky. For the food: I got a small BBQ platter which came with 3-meat choices , a dinner roll and a single side choice. I chose baked beans for my side. Tri-tip, ribs and brisket for my meats. I tasted the beans nothing special but tasty. Same for the roll. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy and meaty! I got three 3"-4" ribs. I also had a small pile of super thin sliced tender juicy and flavorful tri-tip and three 1/4-1/2" thick slices of brisket. The brisket was moist and had a good smoke flavor as well. I ate all the ribs, half the tri-tip and a slice of brisket. The rest went home with me as this was a hearty serving. To end our evening we were sent on our way with well wishes and thanks for patronage from our server and the bartender!

From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much pride and passion goes into everything they do. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a family pouring their heart into their craft. The backstory alone is inspiring -- from perfecting a coffee liqueur recipe years ago to building a full distillery and now a restaurant that's quickly becoming a local favorite. On our visit, we tried a little bit of everything: the legendary Texas Twinkies, hearty Loaded Baked Potatoes, the signature Cedar Rain Sandwich, and the savory Brisket Dip. Every bite tasted like it came from years of practice, care, and a true love of good food. And the drinks? Absolute perfection. The Peach Green Tea Cocktail was bright and refreshing, and the Lavender Lemonade Mocktail was every bit as crafted as a cocktail -- thoughtful, balanced, and locally inspired. What struck me most is how dedicated Cedar Rain is to being part of the Walla Walla community. They've built more than a menu -- they've built a gathering place that celebrates local flavors, family, and connection. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. We sat at the pizza bar and had an excellent and friendly server Briana. We got to enjoy watching the pizza being prepared. I noticed how attentive the staff was to the customers. Fiasco to the rescue! Our server (unfortunately, I've forgotten her name) was extremely personable, attentive, and apologetic about the heat and took great care of us throughout the evening. I enjoyed the proximity of the kitchen and being able to watch the cooks and servers prepare and pick up diners' orders while we waited for ours, which included their version of a green salad (beautifully presented with local greens, goat cheese, candied pecans, pickled onions, a lemon-thyme vinaigrette, and a flower garnish), the Sausage, Onion, Lil's pizza for my husband and that night's featured pizza (Margherita) for me. The salad was refreshing, light, and perfectly dressed. I prefer a thicker crust pizza, but this style of pizza is meant to have thinner crust, so I knew what to expect and thought the crust was very well-made with just the right amount of crispness. The sauce and cheese were well-balanced and the basil was fresh, flavorful and added the perfect touch. My husband was a big fan of his pizza as well. Because the kitchen is so close to the dining area and the a/c wasn't working properly, it was a bit steamy inside (fine with me because I like the heat, but too warm for my husband), but that's the only negative thing I can say about our experience there and it wasn't enough to make this any less than a 5-star review. The atmosphere, service, freshness of ingredients, and tastiness of their food makes Fiasco anything but one! (Once we told our friend that her first recommendation was closed, she recommended Fiasco to us without realizing we had chosen it on our own. When we told her we were already there, she responded, "The fig/rosemary pizza is a total winner!" We'll be trying that the next time we visit.)
