Don't be in a hurry here, it's not that they are slow; it's because they are very busy. Our veggie omelette and chicken fried steak were excellent, the staff prompt and friendly hustling around to keep everyone happy.

Delicious diner style breakfast. Waitress was terrific. Farm fresh veggies in my omelet. Real rye toast. Yum!

Great food, Friendly staff, Great location, Quick service for lunch on a sunny Saturday at noon…read more She had the breakfast sandwich with hash browns and He had the biscuit and gravy breakfast. Sandwich was nicely grilled and stuffed full of yummy breakfast goodness. Biscuit was delightfully crunchy. For the "breakfast plate" there was very little gravy. Hash brown potatoes are very good. The hand crafted mixed drinks are several levels above a typical beverage. Truly "CRAFTED" by Artisans.

We got a small stack of two and they were delicious. Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Served with real maple syrup. I may drive across the state just to have these again. We also ordered cocktails, bloody mary for me and a fresh squeezed Paloma for me. I love Bloody Marys and I love horseradish, but it had so much horseradish in it I couldn't drink it. The fresh Paloma was delicious. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich which was great for a breakfast sandwich. My husband had the huevos con chorizo and he enjoyed it. They have a nice collection of hot sauces to use. Unfortunately, I didn't see them until after I was done eating. Definitely order the pancakes!

The 1st time I went, not long after I moved here, I got a burger at lunch time. I remember thinking it was meh. The meat was dry and the bun was stale. That's about all I remember. 2nd time, I got their version of Eggs Benedict. The eggs were overcooked (jammy-to-dry yolks) and the cheese sauce was terrible. 3rd time was the salmon filet, which was significantly undercooked in the middle. 4th time, I got the Country Biscuit Breakfast: gravy was terribly salty and the scrambled eggs were rubber. Tonight, it was the corned beef hash with two poached eggs and a Belgian waffle: the hash was more green pepper than meat or potatoes, the "poached" eggs were white hockey pucks with completely solid yolks and the Belgian waffle was a fluffy waffle-shaped pancake, no crispness on the outside at all. The waitstaff are fantastic and extremely nice. The setting is ... dated, but serviceable. The place is still better than the truly awful Denny's in town. I really hate ripping the place because the folks are so nice. I guess I'll sum it up this way: I've never had a truly bad meal at Clarette's, but I've never had a truly good meal there, either.
