On a road trip to Oregon and the whole family was starving! Found this spot on Yelp and decided it was worth going a few minutes off the freeway to find it! SO glad we did, food was delicious, family running it was so sweet and accommodating and the town itself is a gem! Highly recommend

This is the best place in the area for relaxed dining breakfast watch not dinner because they're not open for dinner if they were open for dinner it would be good for dinner and probably even late dinner

We stopped at this little cafe after reading reviews. We are pulling a travel trailer and wanted a small town where we could park easily. There is a large parking lot near the cafe. You have to get off the interstate and drive a couple of miles, but you also escape the din of interstate traffic! Very cute homey old fashioned decor. It's a small place, but we easily got a booth and got iced tea. I wanted omelette and French toast, so the waitress suggested that I do French toast in place of toast/hashbrowns. So I was thrilled. My husband got a cheeseburger and Home cut fries. We both enjoyed our meal a great deal. Since breakfast and lunch were served all day, we were each happy with our orders. I would definitely eat here again!

Zoom into the menu....everything like 2 bucks! Small OJ-$2....Large OJ-$2

We had a fantastic breakfast. Huge Everything Omelet, veg omelet w/bacon side. Huge OJ for 2 bucks....seriously look at the beverage list.....Tea 1.25 and cup of coffee a dollar.....a different planet there in Echo. Thanks for Best breakfast...just couple minutes off freeway.

Omelet and hashbrowns are awesome

Horse Heaven Hills Brewery

Horse Heaven Hills Brewery was a brewery I have been wanting to go to for quite a while. Several…read moreyears actually . I tried to go here once before but for some reason they weren't open. This was prepandemic so I went to Prosser's other brewery, Whitstran Brewing instead. At the time Prosser had two breweries but now it's just down to one. Whitsran still exists but is now more of a bistro which means Horse Heaven is the only option you got for this town now. I got in a few weeks ago, right when some sort of festival was going on and indeed the brewery was open this time around. I got their Apricot Honey, a fruit beer which I enjoyed quite a bit! The beertender also gave me a generous portion of a bowl of peanuts and that was a pleasant snack to have since I didn't each much so far for the day. The Apricot Honey beer was a well made one, that's for sure. The featured fruit was well represented and the aromatics and lightness I could really appreciate. A very refreshing beer and I took my time with it. I had a bowl of peanuts to finish off and a Pokémon Go event was just starting so I wasn't in any hurry and resume my road trip quite yet. Despite the festival the brewery taproom was fairly peaceful and only moderately busy which I didn't necessarily mind.

Horse Heaven Hills is everything I love about a small craft brewery: tiny, unpretentious, seating…read morearea right in the brewhouse, friendly service, and (of course) a great selection of delicious beer. This place delivered on all fronts! Kinda hard to find on an alleyway in downtown Prosser, I enjoyed listening to the 80s music the city pipes from speakers on every corner (no really) while we searched for the brewery. It was worth the attempt, as we entered into their tiny tasting room and got down to business. My friend ordered a tasting flight and I got a ruby ale. She fell in love with their honey ale and grabbed a pint, while I chose their ahhmmazing cherry porter for my second pour. I don't even LIKE Dr. Pepper but this beer tasted a lot like it, and in a good way. The owner was also on hand pouring, and even sat down with us for awhile to talk about his brewery and share some local stories. This is what I love about small towns, and small breweries. If I return to Prosser it might not even be for the wine next time, but for another pint of that cherry porter!
