If you find yourself in Hermiston, and want a quick lunch, this place is a great "fast food" type option that is not, to the best of my ability to determine, not a major chain option, that has quick friendly service, and the food is of a better quality than you'd get at the national chain options! I don't live in the area myself, but I drive through when traveling north pretty regularly, and when I want a quick meal but also want out of my car, this is my go to! The staff have always been nice, the food is good for what it is, and it's not too far off the main drag! I really want to like this place. It just misses my mark. My husband likes it, & for that reason alone I'll say "sure, why not?" I've encountered completely raw mushrooms, cold, COLD bread in grilled sandwiches & very sloppily made sandwiches that had bunches of veggies strewn outside of them. I really believe that the sandwiches could be excellent if they just took a little extra time & didn't rush. One thing this place does have going for it, is cleanliness. From what I've seen, it's one of the cleanest dining establishments in town. (& in Hermiston those are few & far between.) More often then not, I've seen one of the employees actively cleaning & vacuuming the dining area & taking out the rubbish. They act like you are putting them out everytime you try and place an order over the phone. 9 times out of 10 you are put on hold and they do not pick up. They do not have a hold button so they place the phone on the counter and never pick it up again. Half the time you can hear them gossip about their customers or teen drama.
