As always our go to restaurant in Walla Walla, Washington for breakfast or lunch they have a very menu of all of our delicious favorite foods Yesterday we enjoyed the clubhouse sandwich loaded with delicious meat and cheeses on lightly toasted bread The plate was also smothered in french fries, My personal favorite are the pork chops this time I had the pork chop lunch with tune, perfectly cooked, lean pork chops from blue Valley meats, across the street along with crispy fried home fried potatoes and a side salad with homemade blue cheese dressing, and also toast the pork chops are my favorite because they are tender Loaded with flavor and they are also on the breakfast menu with potatoes, eggs and toast. I think the highlight of the breakfast menu is there chicken fried steak along with the potatoes eggs anyway that you like them my daughter had the eggs over medium, which is a hard one to cook where the yolks are still soft, but not running out they cooked it an excellent job along with the home fried potatoes, and several types of toast or English muffin are offered The gravy covering the chicken fried steak and the thickness of the beef in the steak makes it tender and juicy Stop in and say hi to Greg and all of his staff who are friendly efficient and knowledgeable about their items on the menu and quick to serve!

a small mom and pop restaurant in a neighborhood outside of downtown. we were staying at the comfort inn and happened to drive by a few times so we decided to stop in for a late breakfast- i'm SO glad we did! very friendly staff and a quick turn around so we didn't have to wait for a table. the menu was simple but had everything you could want for breakfast or lunch. my mom chose breakfast- I chose lunch. I ordered the tommy burger with bacon and fries. fresh large patty, hand made, and the crinkle fries are my absolute favorite. generous portions- I was stuffed! my mom got hashbrowns, 2 eggs, hand made sausage patty, and a side of biscuits and gravy (not pictured) she LOVED IT. I don't see her eat that much very often. she ate all of it! when we come back to walla walla I will always make sure to stop here for a meal. I absolutely love these kind of places and look forward to coming back. thanks for the good experience!

This diner is delicious. The people that work there are amazing the the food is incredible. It is a diner; it's not fancy, but the food is amazing. I personally suggest the chicken fried steak. It is specifically fantastic because the gravy is so good. Therefore I suspect their biscuits and gravy are also delicious. Heads up, there can sometimes be a bit of a wait depending on what time of the morning you come in. Thanks for the great experience. Few people here are tourists.

You want a solid bacon cheese burger, Tommy's is the place. Everything is fresh and made to order. Love stopping by when in town.

Thank you, thank you Tommy, you rock! This is some old-school breakfast and lunch spot that is not to be missed when you're in Walla Walla. Put this on your list of places to go, unpretentious, outstanding food, served hot and properly and even a shared table if you're new in town, and want to chat with others. It's the big round one as you walk in the door. Get done on ya!! Been here for decades family and friends and hopefully for many more, You may want to do the same!

The 1st time I went, not long after I moved here, I got a burger at lunch time. I remember thinking it was meh. The meat was dry and the bun was stale. That's about all I remember. 2nd time, I got their version of Eggs Benedict. The eggs were overcooked (jammy-to-dry yolks) and the cheese sauce was terrible. 3rd time was the salmon filet, which was significantly undercooked in the middle. 4th time, I got the Country Biscuit Breakfast: gravy was terribly salty and the scrambled eggs were rubber. Tonight, it was the corned beef hash with two poached eggs and a Belgian waffle: the hash was more green pepper than meat or potatoes, the "poached" eggs were white hockey pucks with completely solid yolks and the Belgian waffle was a fluffy waffle-shaped pancake, no crispness on the outside at all. The waitstaff are fantastic and extremely nice. The setting is ... dated, but serviceable. The place is still better than the truly awful Denny's in town. I really hate ripping the place because the folks are so nice. I guess I'll sum it up this way: I've never had a truly bad meal at Clarette's, but I've never had a truly good meal there, either.

Best breakfast I've ever had everything on the plate was perfect. The pork chop was amazing.read more

I was in Walla Walla for business yesterday…read more I sell water stuff. There was already water in Walla Walla when I got there but thats not really how the business works. Had a very big day. Met with several people. Shook a lot of hands. Looked at some things. One guy had a map. By about 6pm I had done basically everything a businessman can legally do in one day so I decided to get dinner. Went to TMACS. Sat at the bar because I was by myself and sitting at a table by yourself makes it look like someone is coming. Nobody was coming. The lady gave me the menu. I told her I wasnt very hungry. She recommended the octopus. I said lets do it. I have always respected the octopus because it has 8 arms and still doesnt have a job. Octopus came out. Very good. Charred on the outside. Tender inside. Had some sauce and other things around it. I ate all of those too. At this point I was no longer hungry which had been the original goal. Then she asked what I wanted for dinner. This caught me off guard because I thought the octopus had counted. She recommended the bolognese. I said lets do that too. This is one thing I like about restaurants. You can just keep ordering. Bolognese came out and immediately became a serious situation. Big wide pasta. Rich meat sauce. Parmesan. Everything stuck to everything correctly. I dont know who invented bolognese but they understood that sometimes spaghetti needs more stuff on it. Very good. Halfway through dinner a glass broke. Everybody heard it. For about 2 seconds the entire restaurant became about the glass. Then it wasnt anymore. Incredible recovery. I talked to the staff quite a bit because I was at the bar and thats where they keep the staff. Very friendly people. One of the waitresses told me she had never been outside Walla Walla. I had just driven there from Bend Oregon. Between the two of us we had been to at least 2 places. I told her Bend is nice. She said Walla Walla is nice. We made a lot of progress. Then they started talking about the goat milk cheesecake. I reminded them I wasnt hungry. This information had not helped me earlier and did not help me now. Ordered the goat milk cheesecake. Very good cheesecake. I dont normally know what animal the milk came from when I eat cheesecake so it was nice having that information upfront. Goat did a great job. At this point I had eaten octopus, cow and goat in about 90 minutes. Basically toured the farm. Then I learned the restaurant was originally T. Maccarone's because the founder's actual last name is Maccarone. This guy was born with the last name Maccarone and opened a restaurant with pasta. Sometimes life tells you what to do. If his last name had been Hamburger this could have been a completely different place. Eventually they changed the name to TMACS which is much faster to say. Smart. I paid the bill. Everyone said goodbye. I walked back to my hotel extremely full even though I had entered the restaurant not hungry. That is a 100% increase in hunger elimination. I dont give investment advice but these are strong numbers. Excellent octopus. Excellent bolognese. Excellent goat cheesecake. Excellent staff. Glass situation resolved. Would recommend TMACS to anyone who is in Walla Walla and needs food. If you are not in Walla Walla you will need to get here first. 5 stars.

Your food is incredible, 10/10. A local inn made our reservations. We sat upstairs, Alex was our…read moreserver. His tenderloin was served rare as ordered. My chicken marsala was served without the menu-listed grilled baguette. I asked about that twice. Both times Alex shrugged it off saying maybe the kitchen had run out. Please note we are from California.and maybe things are done differently in Walla Walla? In California, when an item listed in a meal is unavailable, the server tells that to the customer and asks if they still want that menu item. We were not offered a discount. We were not provided with the grilled baguette or a substitute item. We were charged full price. Again, this is not how restaurants operate in California but maybe this is normal for TMACS? Your food is worth the price, but not if it isnt going to be served as represented on your menu. 10 points on the quality of your food, 2 points for misrepresenting your menu.
