This place is located NE of I-10 and between I-10 and Priest. This was one of the options for USAA for an insurance claim. The other nearby options were Gerber and Caliber which were bad in the past. My experience with AutoNation Collision Tempe was absolutely frustrating and deeply disappointing. I was assisted by Daniel Ahles, and the level of incompetence and poor workmanship was evident from the start. Original parts were removed from my vehicle and replaced with cheap, low-quality aftermarket parts, even in areas where no replacement was necessary. In less than two months, several of these parts showed obvious deterioration: headlights turned yellow and began peeling, screws were missing, incorrect (non-automotive) screws were installed, and original engine protection covers--designed to keep dust out--were removed and replaced with inferior parts that did not need to be changed at all. This clearly reflects the materials and practices used by this shop. I had to return three times for them to attempt to fix basic issues. The paint job was burned, peeling, and mismatched in multiple tones. Panels were misaligned and "off-square," largely due to poorly fitting aftermarket parts. Despite my insurance paying the repair in full, they even installed parts from other vehicle models, not compatible with my 4Runner. The result was so unacceptable that I was forced to take my vehicle to another shop to fix the damage they caused. The administrative handling was just as negligent. The shop committed to covering my rental car due to their own mistakes and later refused to honor that commitment, leaving me to pay out of pocket. Daniel Ahles' manager (whose name I was never able to obtain) was also rude and demonstrated a complete lack of professional ethics, treating both me and Enterprise staff poorly while we were simply trying to resolve the issue based on what Daniel Ahles himself had promised. In November my car was struck from behind at a red light. I postponed repairs until February when I wouldn't need the 2 car seats that I use. My service manager, Cherish, was great! Although the damage didn't look extreme, she knew that once the bumper came off , they'd have to inspect the back up cameras etc. She went to bat with the insurance company to get the work done properly; kept me informed and was a pleasure to work with! Took my truck to be repaired here after seeing it listed on Toyota's website as a Toyota certified collision center. Was told repairs would take 3-4 weeks at most. It ended up taking them over 2 months to fix. Communication was horrible, always had to call them for updates. And if they said they'll have someone call you back, they never did. Always had to make another call.. got passed around to several advisors. I would not recommend having ur vehicle taken here.. even tho is was an extensive job I wish they had better communication and set better timeline expectations.. it was constantly they're waiting for a part to come in.. never an error on theyre fault. They did eventually get it fixed tho. read more

My car looks great, the TAT was pretty quick. My Altima had minimum damage but my whole back end of my car looks beautiful, they also did a great job cleaning the outside as well. I took my car here after someone rear-ended me. I was in contact with the other persons insurance company, and they agreed to pay for all of the damages done to my car (2007 Dodge Charger) When I dropped my car off, the lady at the counter assured me that they would take care of everything that was damaged in the accident. Upon picking up my car after it was "finished" I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. Here is why: 1) They didn't fix the chipped paint, they just used silver paint from a bottle and brushed it onto the damaged parts of my car. 2) My rear-taillight had black tint over it and upon getting my car back one of my taillights was still tinted, and the one they replaced WASN'T... They tried to tell me that "taillight tint is illegal"... they just wanted an excuse to not finish my car. 3) They removed the weather-proof-sealant from the external roof of my car, and did not put it back where it belongs. It was just sitting in the back seat with masking tape on it that read "front" (I assume so they would remember where to put it back, but didn't) Because of this, water has been leaking through my ceiling for the past 2 months. 4) They removed a bungie cord hook from my trunk, and didn't put it back when they finished so I can no longer section-off my trunk into compartments. *****5) Ever since I got my car back, there was a slow leak in my front left tire... I finally took it to the tire repair shop this afternoon... They told me that "Someone put a nail in your tire and removed it to make it look like an accident" Seems like an AWFULLY HUGE coincidence to go along with all of the other things listed above that went wrong. CONCLUSION: Be sure to check your car VERY THROUGHLY upon pick-up. They WILL tinker with your car and damage it... the scariest part? If my tire popped and something had happened to me... the people at the tire shop said "they made it look like natural causes" BEWARE... read more

I took my beloved Penny in for an estimate to repair her t-bone damage on 6 September. Steve Grothaus worked up a very detailed estimate and shot it over to USAA within an hour. The next day, we ordered two new doors and all the other parts that got crunched. 10 September, baby's in the shop with a projected work time of 13 days. 13 September, Steve calls me to advise me of the work's status and says I should have her back late next [this] week, ahead of schedule. 17 September, Steve calls me to say she's almost done, just a bit of tweaking and blending left to do and I should have her back Wednesday or Thursday. 19 September, Steve calls and says she's done, I can pick her up after 1500. I show up at 1530, baby looks absolutely flawless. There's zero evidence that she'd been pranged and she's spotless inside and out. Took a car in for rear ended damage but they stole out my car and cause damage to my personal property. They stole all five cd I had in player. Took my cigarettes and lighter I had in car. They broke in my tip locked tip box and stole my money. I called them on this problem they said I signed a waiver on that they are not responsible for any theft or damage. I brought my business to this place thinking it was the right choice since I bought my Toyota on Auto Nation Chevrolet on Gilbert. The lady in the counter was not help at all and she had an attitude and definitely did not make me feel welcome and care to understand my business. Finally call someone his name was Brian Stodola he told me nothing couldn't do with my car since I was dealing with insurance already. Told me to comeback when insurance check arrived and go from there. I decided to comeback and give a second chance with check with me same thing lady with same attitude and rude. I asked so please make copy of paperwork and have Brian to call me, call back two days later she said he was out that he will call me back and he never did. I went in hear because some one side swiped my car in a parking lot and took off. The damage wasn't bad, but I had only owned my car for 2 days. Since it was just a side swipe they had to go off of my insurance to do the work after inspecting the dented door and the scratch down the side the man said he would just pull the dent and buff out the scratch for free so I could avoid a claim. I took my car in to have minor rear bumper damage repaired. I also requested they try and buff out a couple of minor scratches. Was called when car was done, went to pick it up and it wasn't washed and no attempt had been made to buff out the scratches...I got the "Give me 5 minutes speech" and they took the car away, 5 minutes later it was back with the car still dirty and a token attempt to buff out the scratches which was really just buffing the dirt into the finish... The repair is fine and the people I dealt with were all friendly and helpful....Just a crappy job of delivering on my expectations of a clean car with the scratches removed...Let me add I also offered to pay additional to get them removed and was told...no problem... read more

This was my first time going through them and I couldn't be happier. They worked with my State Farm insurance and Kari was wonderful. She preordered the parts my truck needed and let me know they should have it done by Friday. Friday morning came and she called and said it would be closer to 4 or 5pm, and also told me State Farm overpaid and that I didn't need to pay my deductible, which was fantastic news. When I picked up my truck I didn't expect that they would have detailed it as well! It was so shiny, the damage was fixed, tires were shined, inside was wiped clean and vacuumed. I was impressed.
