Bare with me as this is going to be long, if I could give them negative -5 stars I would! I had some minor cosmetic issues with my vehicle, I was given their card by a Acura dealership that services my vehicle. I contacted this Tempe location and was given a date for service and dropped my vehicle off, this was February 7, 2023. My insurance company paid for my rental which was 30 days per claim and I had 2 separate claims on my vehicle. The 1st 30 days my vehicle was at this shop I spoke with the shop maybe once. Then as the 30 days went by I had to return the rental and obtain a new one, which I did but as time went on I started to reach out to the shop for updates on my vehicle. By the time 50+ days had gone by and I knew the rental had to be returned I attempted to get in contact with the person who was in charge of my vehicle which was Zach the manager. He does not communicate neither return your calls. So I started pulling up to the shop every week and every week Zach would have some lame story about ordering parts and my vehicle was almost ready blah blah blah, by week 3 (Monday) of his lies I decided I was going to pop up and search for my vehicle on the property so I can see the progress of my vehicle myself. Before I could leave the house I received a call from my insurance company telling me Zach had just called them and said my vehicle would be ready Wednesday, I immediately responded with "bs" because I knew Zach was lying, every week he finds a new lie as an attempt to buy hisself more time. I went to the shop anyways it had been 64 days they had my vehicle, I immediately became unhinged upon setting my eyes on my vehicle, it was sitting by its self with bondo on it no paint. (photos included) I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I had just caught this guy in a lie! Caught him red handed with his "bs". I immediately demanded my keys and vehicle back, I was met with "I apologize", from a woman who works the front desk. I refused to calm down and leave w/o my vehicle. Not only was I paying for the rental car out of my pocket but I now clearly see this business has been lying to me and holding my vehicle hostage! They called the police on me and I was trespassed off the property, I explained to the officers I just wanted my vehicle back and I no longer wanted anything to do with these people. Zach refused to give me vehicle back. So I drove to Acura and spoke with them about the situation and asked how are they referring their customers to such a disgrace of a business. I was told that they do NOT refer their customers to the Tempe location, they ONLY send their customers to the Chandler location! So I realized I had made a huge mistake with taking my vehicle to the wrong location! Acura got on the phone with the manager of the Chandler location (Kevin) who was upset about what I was going through with Zach, Kevin said he would fix it and make this right as I am a customer of Acura and Precision Auto Body does a lot of business with Acura of Tempe. The next day (Tuesday day 65) Kevin attempted to dispatch a tow truck and retrieve my vehicle from Zach but he refused to give up my vehicle stating they had just painted it and it couldn't be moved, I refused to except that so I called the police for a civil stand by to get my vehicle back. The officers explained to them that they had no choice but to release my vehicle as the other locations manager is stepping in. Kevin then sent a tow truck to retrieve my vehicle and away we went to the Chandler location. Kevin really took care of me and stepped up and got me my vehicle back in a manner of days after it being in his shop. I really appreciate everything he's done for me. However because of the crappy work the Tempe location did on my vehicle my bumper does not sit correctly on my vehicle and the passenger rear door did not lock. I brought my vehicle back to him and unfortunately they would have to take it apart and do the work over again including painting to fix the bumper situation, he was able to get my locks working correctly. I was out of my vehicle 71 days, but the shop paid for the rental. I would not recommend this business, this franchise needs to replace their manager Zach, he has countless bad reviews online and other people have come forward with their nightmare stories dealing with this location. read more

My car has been without a door handle on the driver's side for almost a year because I'm very intimidated going into car related shops. But when I got to Precision Auto Body, it wasn't the typical, beat up shop where you get three men staring at you and not a single one greets you. No, sir. I parked my car, walked into a building (convinced it could not be this simple to park and get help) and was greeted by a warm face behind a clean, organized desk in a white, spacious office with a nice waiting area and some very comfortable couches. I explained to the front desk woman, Julie, what I needed when Zach, at his desk, overheard me and quickly came up to take a look at my damage. Zach got his awesome team to fix it for me in less than 30 mins for less than $50! I was there for such a short time, but when I left I left feeling like those people I briefly encountered were my trusted family members. I couldn't imagine getting my auto body needs done anywhere else. Still stuck at the part where you billed 2 insurers for the same work? Fraud!!! 2- 4 wheel alignments, paid 2x to remove a truck bed, paid twice to remove bed liner from the bed bolts, paid twice to for the pre and post service scan, paid twice to strip and remove bed liner, then you upped it to 850 2x, then you decided it needed a bed strip and repaint at 2838 and when one insurer paid, you asked the other and fought over payment without disclosure to both insurers and they are experts and say you committed fraud, you held my vehicle for 7 weeks!! And now I have paint issues, not a "quality repair"! KJ saying "no cost to you", after I told him in the same conversation to credit the steps means no cost to me, you adding a made up cost or a cost of 1 dollar is not what was disclosed to me, I'm willing to bet the 172 you want is probably more than you paid for the steps! Now I have to find a shop to fix the paint, hopefully it won't be another 7 weeks. From my experience they went above and beyond to get paid and held my vehicle for 7weeks to do so with a paint issue that should have been caught while they were ripping both insurers off on that bed liner scam. read more

There are good people out there. I brought my car in for an estimate after a young woman scraped it from above the tire all the way to the bumper as she was backing out from a parking spot next to me. A very nice man from Precision, Zack, asked if I would be using insurance or paying cash. When I explained I wasn't sure because I was giving the young woman the option of not involving her insurance if the repairs would be less than her deductible, he said he would take the car back and see what needed to be done. About 15 minutes later when he came back, they had buffed out almost all the damage. What was even nicer, he said he had 2 daughters and he was happy to help keep a claim off this young woman's insurance so there was no charge. Thank you Zack. Thank you Precision. I'm very delayed in this review, but I can't thank Aubree and her team enough. My drivers side window stopped working so I did a google search to see who I could take the car to for a quick fix. I found this place not too far from the house and Aubree was very welcoming. She took my keys and my car was taken to the back to see what was going on and for an estimate. Within 15 minutes my car was returned with a temporary fix so I wouldn't drive around down with no window and a quote on how much it would be to have it fixed correctly. They didn't charge me for the quick fix and could have the new part in the shop within a couple days. I thanked them and left to see what other quotes I could get and within two days I was back to have them take care of the issue. Fair prices and excellent customer service! I was recommended this body shop by Earnhardt Lexus once they verified they were not able to accommodate my needs. I was extremely satisfied with my service from precision. They quickly made an appointment for an estimate, worked with the insurance company, and rental car company. After getting hit by another car I was frustrated I had to deal with the entire process of taking my car in, estimates, rentals, etc. but precision made it such an easy and smooth process. Initially I felt a little uneasy, being that the Toyota dealership had taken my 2021 Camry XSE to a shop of their own choosing. I felt I probably would have been better off having had some input on where it was going...but it was too late. The car was already dropped at Precision. (Not that I know the first thing about auto repair.) I had recently had the worst experience possible @ Camelback Toyota, my expectations had diminished to practically nonexistant for dealerships. I switched dealerships, taking my vehicle to Berge Toyota this time around. Much better experience and I could not have been more wrong about thier preferred auto body shop! Zach is AMAZING. His overall competence and professionalism is beyond compare. Rarely do you find this level of willingness to assist, taking time to explain the details and share his knowledge. After two Toyota dealership service centers could not determine exactly what the heck was going on with my car, Zach saved the day in only a matter of a few hours. My car only has 11k miles on it, so I was beyond frustrated. After speaking with Zach, i was confident that the issue could now be resolved @ Toyota. I received this shops recommendation from my service advisor at Scottsdale Infiniti, when my front end had some damage. I can say after using them, absolutely outstanding work and service. Had my car out in and out in a little over two weeks. They had to haggle with my insurance to get a piece covered, but they got it completed and approved quickly. Never once did I have intervene, which is very refreshing. I also had them fix a part that I paid for out pocket, and they actually over quoted the total amount I thought I was going to owe. Which ended up being pretty nice when I went to pick my car up and it was a little less money than planned. They also detailed my car for final fit and finish at pick up. I visited Precision & met with Vu who was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He made sure to give me updates, time frames, & overall keep me in the loop with my car. These snakes convinced me to leave the car for 5 days before an estimator would be out there knowing they were going to charge a storage fee. These guys were great. Even though they didn't do any work for us. We had our daughters 2007 Ford Taurus towed there for repairs after being hit by a tree during the Monsoon. They took the time to work up a quote even though she didn't insurance to cover it. It was going to come out of her pocket. They were straight up honest with us that it wouldn't be worth putting the money into the car. And on top of that they were extremely patient keeping the car there until I could make arrangements to get it towed off there lot. My car got hit in the back with a little bit of scratch, not a big project, but I went in to fix 3 times yet my trunk still leaking. Talk to them and got fix again and again till I don't want to listen to them saying "this time we will do everything ". Also did not finish their job on time. I had my car back 3 weeks later than the estimated time they gave me. I understand that you won't always be on time due to other customers/short handed.... things could happen. The day I first came into contact with them I had been in a terrible car accident on a Friday evening and they were LITERALLY the only place that would stay open for an extra few minutes to take my tow, and they COULD NOT have been more kind about it. When my husband and I walked in there multiple people in the front office took care of us like we were family, which was so comforting after such a bad day. Don't let the Triple A approved sign fool you! This place has no ethics or morals are bound you take advantage of you! I was in a accident and had triple A refer me over. I left my vehicle there but decided to go with another autobody shop. When I called them they avoided my calls and finally reached me later saying that they had already fixed part of my car. I knew they were lying because nothing happens the same day and when I got down there they had completely lied then held my car for ransom. I ended up having to pay almost $600 to get them to release the vehicle. Zachary Holm's was upset I had chosen a different body shop. They not only flat out lied, they took my bumper which is my property. If you want a distrustful, lying auto body shop, then look no further. It's sad that people like this will prey on people like myself who just had an accident. I will do whatever it takes to educate the public on scam artists like this! If you're looking for a shop to have someone take a look at a vehicle, you should strongly consider taking your vehicle to Precision Auto Body. I had a large dent on the side of my truck and I took my vehicle to several places to have them look at it. Every other shop I went to wanted me to replace parts of my truck's body and wanted me to spend over $2000 in parts, but I don't want to file an insurance claim. I told Precision Auto Body that I really didn't want anyone to spend more than a half hour working on it. Zach told me what result to expect, and I was relieved to have found a body shop willing to work with me on my huge dent. The results exceeded my expectations and the price was very reasonable. Thanks guys. EDIT: Also, I'd just like to point something out to anyone reading this. There is a negative review below by Ms. B that contains, "I knew they were lying because nothing happens the same day...". I've had a constant battle with my insurance company after my accident feeling absolutely alone in my situation. However this company and it's employees have done everything they can to help. This includes providing solid advice to a person who knows little to none about auto repair in a manner that I can understand and giving advice on how to handle my situation so that we could best move forward. They have also worked with me diligently through my situation to help me under a very stressful time so that I don't feel overwhelmed. I had my daughter take her 2014 Toyota Corolla to have some warranty work done on the paint; color is Bright White. Berge Toyota said they use Precision so Berge and Precision got together and gave us a date to drop the car off, which was November 4 2022. Zachary Holm told us it would be done before Thanksgiving! Nope, it wasn't done and I asked him when he thought it would be done. He said by next week on Wednesday or Thursday, November 29 or 30. My daughter tried calling him and this is when he started ignoring my daughter's phone calls. So I stopped in on the 30th of November and the car was sitting there with no doors, no hood, no bumpers, no lights and no glass. He said he would have it back together by Friday, December 2. I knew he wouldn't, so I gave two extra days and started calling him on December 6. Now he's ignoring my calls. I stopped by on December 7 and started walking around looking for her car; when Zachary drove up behind me and honked the horn and told me I couldn't be behind the gates. I told him I wouldn't be behind his f**king gates if he would answer his phone and return calls. He parked, came over and started making excuses and then apologized for not returning my calls and asked what car I was looking for so I told him and he showed me the car and said they broke the windshield when they were trying to reinstall it and were waiting on Berge Toyota to get the windshield. He said he would call me tomorrow Dec 8. As you can imagine, no phone call so I tried calling him and he ignored my calls. I stopped by on Dec 9 pissed and asked him what was the hold up and he told me that he was waiting on Berge Toyota. I told him I was headed over to Berge to talk to Kendall, the service advisor. I got to Berge and found Kendall, he said they approved it and they have had so many problems with Precision not returning their calls that they are no longer using them! Tried calling Zach and again ignoring my calls! Very pissed so at this point I called Safelite Auto glass and said I will pay for a windshield to be put on this car. That way I can get it out of this bodyshop! I called the receptionist to inform them Safelite Auto Glass will be showing up to put the glass in. I would never take anything to this body shop ever again or Berge Toyota for washing their hands of the situation!! read more
