This company cares about their customers. I originally scheduled to have a tech come out to me, but the owner Ralph saw that the damage in my paint was too extensive for a mobile job. He called and offered to take care of it personally at his home and didn't charge me any more for a job that proved to take more time than they first thought. Two days later my car looked great. You can't tell the keyed scratch was ever across the whole side of my car. Ralph is really great, and cared about the car just like I do. read more

I reached out to five local mobile dent repair companies to repair a dent on my rear tailgate on my classic 4Runner, that I caused when I backed into a tree branch. Bumper Buddies responded the fastest, had the best communication, and their quote was the best as well. I am so glad I hired them to fix the dent. The work came out great, even better than I was expecting! Jason, the technician who came out, was the consummate professional, and did a great job in communicating and with the actual workmanship. His decades of experience shows, and I wholeheartedly recommend Bumper Buddies. read more

This service is amazing. I sent in pictures, received a quote, and the technician came to my house and was able to complete the repair in my garage, paint and all, within a few hours! The car looks perfect again, and there was no hassle with a rental car or body shop. Quote was fair. Highly recommend! read more

Thank you for reaching out in response to my review. Yes, the work was done in 2024. I completely understand what you're saying about the age of the paint and how difficult it can be to match, but that's exactly the kind of information I wish had been shared with me upfront--when I booked the appointment and received the estimate. Instead, I only learned about those limitations after the work was finished and I expressed that I wasn't happy with the result. I'm not a confrontational person, so in the moment I didn't really know what to do. The machine asked for a tip, so I added one and just assumed maybe I was expecting too much. But when my husband got home and saw it, he immediately felt the same way I did--that the paint didn't match at all. Even if that was the best possible outcome, we would've appreciated knowing that ahead of time so we could make an informed decision. At this point, I've moved on, and I do appreciate you reaching out. I actually tried contacting you outside of Yelp at the time and never received a response, which is why I eventually posted the review. It sounds like you've done great work since then, and I'm sure the work on my car was done with care too. I just think more education on the front end would have made a big difference in my expectations. read more

I had a very frustrating experience with Bumper Buddies and would not recommend them based on both the quality of work and the lack of follow-up. I paid $650 for a front bumper repair on my 2014 435i. Before moving forward, I specifically told the technician I was deciding between repairing the bumper or fully replacing it, and that I only wanted to proceed if the result would look acceptable. I relied on their recommendation and moved forward with the repair. The final result was disappointing. The paint had noticeable orange peel, the panel shaping was uneven and wavy, there was overspray, and even the parking sensor was painted over. After reaching out, it took significant effort just to get them to come back out. When they finally did, the "correction" was essentially a quick buff and some minor cleanup -- it did not address the underlying issues. I was then told that because the original damage involved a split in the bumper, the result I had was essentially the best it could look and that it wasn't fully correctable. That was extremely frustrating to hear, because had that been clearly communicated upfront, I would have chosen to replace the bumper instead of attempting a repair. Following that visit, I attempted multiple times over the course of a couple weeks to resolve the situation and discuss a partial refund. Communication was extremely poor -- emails went unanswered, texts were ignored, and I was repeatedly told someone would follow up when no one ever did. At this point, I've had to pursue a chargeback due to unsatisfactory workmanship and lack of customer support. Overall, the experience felt rushed, the quality did not meet expectations, and the follow-up service was even worse. I would strongly recommend considering other options, especially for anything beyond very minor cosmetic repairs. Update to owners response: I think it's important to clarify a few things here, as parts of your response are not accurate. While I did sign off initially, that was based on a quick review immediately after the repair. The issues became much more noticeable over time in normal lighting and daily use. I also had friends and family point out the poor finish and uneven panel work, which reinforced my concerns -- I take pride in my vehicle, and this simply was not an acceptable result. I first reached out again in mid-February to raise these concerns, and it took repeated follow-ups over several weeks to get a return visit scheduled, which did not occur until March 24th. After that visit, I again had to follow up multiple times over more than a week through both email and text with little to no response before finally hearing back. During that visit, I was told that because the bumper had split, the current result was essentially the best it could be and not fully correctable. That is the core issue -- had that been communicated upfront, I would have chosen a full replacement instead of a repair. I also want to correct a misstatement in your response. At no point did I threaten to post a negative review or file a chargeback in exchange for a refund. The message you're referencing was sent only after weeks of repeated follow-ups and lack of response, and simply stated that if I did not hear back, I would move forward with a chargeback due to the unresolved issues. That is not a threat -- it was a final step after multiple attempts to resolve this directly. The follow-up "corrections" did not resolve the underlying issues, and the quality still does not meet expectations. My request for a partial refund reflects the fact that the result did not match what was discussed beforehand, the limitations were not disclosed upfront, and the communication throughout this process required persistent follow-up just to receive basic responses. read more

i had the best experience with bumper buddies! the fact that they come to you is so convenient, especially since it can be difficult to find places that are willing to work on teslas. i had a pretty bad scratch on my door and honestly wasn't very hopeful that it could be fixed, but orlando did an amazing job. my car seriously couldn't look better, it looks like the scratch was never even there! i'm beyond happy with the results and the whole process was easy from start to finish. i would absolutely use bumper buddies again and will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family. thank you, orlando! read more

I bought a used CRV that previously belonged to an elderly lady, she had gotten into a few small fender benders but there was a very large dent on the drivers side rear door. I found these guys on yelp and saw they have good reviews. Jason M was the man tasked with fixing this dent and he went above and beyond. It was apparent someone had tried to fix the dent before but failed. Jason pretty much made it look good as new as he had to sand and paint as well. I highly recommend these guys especially Jason! read more

My husband has a 2003 Infinity G35 bright red sports car with less than 100k miles on it...mint condition, his baby! Someone hit his bumper in a grocery store parking lot and made a big dent. He went to 2 auto body shops and they quoted him $1700-1900! We called Bumper Buddies and Jason did it in our garage for a very small fraction of those quotes! He is a really nice guy, a family man, and fun to talk to as he let us watch. Just a couple hours in our own garage and the car looks amazing...like it never happened! Highly recommend Bumper Buddies and Jason! read more

Had a chip and then repaired the body work myself, but the color did not match. Fortunately Justin from Bumper Buddies reviewed the request and tried his best to keep the cost low as possible on a re-spray of the panel. Since I didn't want to get car insurance involved I really appreciate them for taking care of the paint at a very reasonable price. Came over within a week with the matching paint and was able to do it in the comfort of my own garage too! read more

Right edge of bumper was scratched from someone who side swiped me (hit & run). Took a picture and submitted for estimate, within a hour I was given estimate via text, email, and phone call. Jason (Gilbert, AZ) arrived the next day and his professionalism and communication skills were great. The job took 2 hours and looks brand new. Highly recommended Bumper Buddies and if in the East Valley, Jason will do a great job. read more

Sloppy Scheduling, Poor Communication, and Unfinished Work I had a frustrating experience with Bumper Buddies. When I first called, the salesman was extremely pushy and pressured me into an appointment and then turns out they never actually scheduled it. I took time off work only to be told they had no record of it, and then they tried to dictate what day they had available next, completely disregarding my schedule after their mistake. I eventually paid $525 for a bumper repair and submitted multiple photos in advance. At no point did anyone mention an issue with "two colors" on the bumper. Not over the phone, not in texts, and not even when the technician was working on it. Only after the job was done did I have to call them to figure out why their work was incomplete. They say they couldn't fully correct the paint and the owner then tried to charge me even more money to finish the work I already paid for, and that he may come out to do it himself but only if he "felt" like it. The grey paint formed bubbles shortly after (I left it alone as advised) and the black paint was never repaired. This place is disorganized, lacks transparency, and doesn't take accountability. I wouldn't trust them with your time or your car. read more

don't get me wrong at first I really thought I found my new repair shop..I really liked working with these guys, I left a great review... but it sucks that I realized they have been changing the price each time going higher. I text from yelp got a different rate. I'll probably call back in a few days and get a different one. And then looking back noticing you guys basically ripped me off by not fixing a part you charged me for. I guess back to looking for a new repair shop. read more

I had gotten a quote for a paint transfer scrap that happened on my car. One place had quoted me $4k and bumper buddies quoted me much more reasonably at $1k. Scheduling was easy and the quote feature on Yelp was great. The paint job came out amazing and I'm very impressed. Sal was very friendly and explained the process well. I would've given 4 stars except for I wish I had more communication. They were an hour later than the time slot given. I was quoted it would be a 4 hour job that turned into 6.5 hours. I also wish I had been told I wouldn't be able to use my car for the remainder of the day as it needed to set. I would recommend more communication of the process for customers but overall happy customer read more

This company is awesome! They came out a little less than a year ago and fixed a dent as well as some paint chips on my car. Fast forward to now and some of the paint chips have reappeared. I contacted Bumper Buddies and scheduled an appointment since they provide a 3-year warranty. This time the owner Ralph came out to take a look and determined that the chips are not due to the previously completed work but probably reappeared from flying rocks or possibly something rubbing up against my car. Nonetheless, Ralph took the time to buff out the chips and my car looks great again. Ralph was so nice and professional and not only will I use this company again but I would absolutely recommend them to others! I scratched and dented my front bumper, and I contacted a few collision places that does dents, and paint repairs were quoting me $1,000-$1,500. In addition, they collision were also stating that I needed a new bumper, right side bracket and right wheel opening molding. However, I went on YELP and Bumper Buddies came up. The process was very easy. Sent a quick photo and the response came back very fast when I had Ralph from Bumper Buddies, he stated that I did not need any of that. Bumper Buddies had quoted me $575. Ralph was able to put my bumper back in place (it is loose, but you cannot tell unless you push on it). Also, my right-side bracket is loose, but you cannot tell unless you really look closely at it. Once I got ahold of Bumper Buddies, they were quick to respond with a quote for $575, and they came to me and repaired it in my driveway the same week! Which personally, I find very convenient and less stressful when mobile auto companies can come to you. The repair was done in a couple of hours and my car is good as new again.
