EXPERTISE, INTEGRITY, & PROFESSIONALISM…read more I was referred to Scottsdale Collision Center after an accident. The team at SCC diligently assessed the damage and upheld the need for repair to safe and sound status despite pressure from the insurance companies to settle. Ultimately the vehicle was deemed a loss and totaled. Still, Oscar and Shayna and the team worked through all details to the very end, ensuring that I was aware and aligned with every action. They were responsive and supportive the entire time. It is clear that SCC is Customer focused and dedicated to doing the right thing and to doing things right.

Rather than go into long winded details, they are the ultimate "bait and switch" shop. I ended up getting a quote from Guy's Body Shop for $100 less than Scottsdale Collision settled on their price for. They work done by Guy's Body Shop was flawless and more extensive than what Scottsdale Collision was willing to do and for $100 less. I don't write these reviews often, but my experience with Scottsdale Collision was bad enough where I wanna save other folks from the trouble.

I read a lot of Google reviews for Cary's Auto Service, and they overwhelmingly positive. As a plus, luckily it is right down the street from me. Chris has been the main person that I usually talk to when I'm there, he is not Cary, even though I'm sure people think he is, but he's a great representative of the company. He is respectful and kind, treats you like a regular person, he talks you and uses words you can understand regarding car stuff. Plus he's so pleasant to interact with. As a woman trying to get work done on my truck sometimes there's a feeling of being taken advantage of, but not here. I trust these guys and they do great work. They've been taking care of my truck for a few years now, and as you can see from my photos, I love my truck. Her name is Gunnie because the paint color is gun metal gray. she's been good to me. We've been on many road and camping trips together. I will continue to have her serviced at Cary's Auto Service well into the "hundreds of thousands of miles" per Chris :)

When we tried to resolve the situation, they became argumentative rather than offering a reasonable solution. What was especially frustrating was hearing them give the same scripted responses to multiple customers who called while we were physically in the shop. The way they communicate with customers is unprofessional and shows a lack of accountability and customer service. Overall, it felt like they were more interested in getting additional money through insurance than making sure the job was done correctly. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. Following the final inspection, our vehicle has more issues than it did when we initially brought it in. They explained it could be something else which concerns me as to why it wasn't mentioned or noticed after the initial inspection. They were convinced the service we paid for would fix the issue we brought it in for and it didn't. Do not bring your Tesla here!

Despite having…read moreboth: the photos I took of my vehicle at drop off and Penske pre-scan photos, I am having to fight tooth and nail to get them to fix the damage they caused. I wouldn't recommend this location, employees are disingenuous. For context, my vehicle was at the Mercedes dealership being serviced the day prior to drop off at Penske. When I picked my car up at Penske, my head light was out and they told me 'it was out at drop off, there's no way we could have caused it to go out because we didn't touch it.' The light was not out at drop off and Mercedes would have included that in their inspection report. Come to find out, when they took the vehicle back to fix the mistakes in their paint job and primer oversprays, Derrick owned up to the light being unplugged. No one else could have unplugged it except a Penske employee. I WAS FLAT OUT LIED TO BY MY SERVICE REP. This is one of 6 different other new issues with my car when Penske handed it back to me. I'm glad I asked for a walk around. Extremely disappointing experience.

Harvil's Body Shop Perfection is the name of the game at…read moreHarvil's Body Shop. A colleague accidentally ran into my 1999 Mercedes E320, severely damaging my right front fender. At this point, it is important to note my car was in immaculate condition because, since day one of owning it, it had been pampered like a newborn. One other piece of important background information is I was new to the area. I had just moved from Northern California to Tempe a mere six months earlier, so I had no idea where to take my car for repairs, which caused me great distress as the last thing I needed was to have some hack body shop botch the repair job! I mentioned my concerns to my colleague, who luckily for me is an exceptionally nice guy, and he recommended Harvil's Body Shop. Harvil's had previously repaired his wife's car and had done an excellent job. Now, you must understand that I am a really picky guy with relatively high standards, so understandably, I still had my concerns even though I had no reason to disbelieve my colleague's recommendation. What if our definition of a "good shop" or "quality of work" were different? What if, what if, what if? Anyway, long story short, I dropped my car off at Harvil's Body Shop and before leaving I said to Matt Harvil, now when I pick up my car in two days I will not be able to tell the fender was ever touched right? Matt confidently answered; it will look brand new! Two days later I went back to Harvil's to pick up my car and whoa and behold, to my pleasant surprise, the fender had been perfectly repaired and paint matched. It was absolutely amazing, and I was the happiest man alive. I would recommend to anyone needing body work to take their vehicle to Harvil's because they are absolutely the BEST!
