I sat and looked at my phnoe for a little bit until the battery almost died (it was alrfeady low when I got there). They had charging cords on the coffee table with adapters for every phone. I plugged my phone in and sat it on the table and got comfortable for a longer wait, but moments later, true to the 1.5 hour estimate, they said my truck was ready. They advised me of some sort of leak on the front axle, but told me to check with the dealership because it might be under warranty. I appreciate that. I'll definitely be back for future service.

They did a 'diagnostic assessment' on my car and told me I had a transmission issue that couldn't be fixed there since they don't do transmission work but couldn't tell me anything else (not even how they determined this). Couldn't even assist with local recommendations of who could possibly assist. So I paid $123 dollars for them to give me false information about my car. Now, although with 22 reviews (at the time of this review), I went to this shop and Paul told me that MY TRANSMISSION IS FINE and it was a cooler leak and fixed it in no time with the best price (Thank you Jesus!) When I picked my truck up, I noticed a leak before I drove off. They put it on the lift and fixed the leak. Driving home that night hard shift on the same gears and the same code. Took it back. After a few days they said it's fixed. Two days later same issue. Took it back again and after a few days they returned the truck. This time it was fixed. I finally parked in my driveway way after having it for a couple weeks and noticed it was leaking. Took it back and they didn't have time to look at it. They sent me down to their sister shop and they said it was a gasket leak. It was a small leak and I every time it's in their shop it's 3-4 days. I missed enough work, decided to wait until I needed to service and fix it myself. I found a random 12mm bolt in one hole and my pan was damaged on the lip. No wonder it was leaking. Whatever tech worked on my truck definitely had the " that's the next guys problem" attitude.

Once at the AAA auto shop I had written on the sheet not to do anything, but just see if you can tell me what's wrong. They charged me $200 dollars just for looking at it (Big O will look at your car for free, and an engine diagnostic is about 100, but if you get your car worked on with them then they waive the diagnostic fee) AAA then quoted an outrageous price for what needed to be fixed. There's no way I would've let them work on my car. Had it towed to Big O tires and they did the exact same thing AAA was going to do for $300 less than what AAA quoted me. So in conclusion, AAA left me stranded for hours then just tried to rob me blind. Not good.

Months…read moreafterward, the car was doing the exact same thing as before; hesitating when I shifted into drive or reverse. On a Monday, I called and spoke with Emeral(?). He stated to bring the car in, and based on the time, he could let me know what is going on by the end of the day. I stated that I could have it there by 1p. I was there at 12:30p. Emeral started that he would give me a call before the end of the day. No call from the shop on Monday or Tuesday morning. I called Emeral around 5pm on Tuesday. He stated that they were putting things together and would call me within the next 15-30 mins. Again, I was lied to.  No call.  Wednesday at 10:30a, Emeral called to state that he was waiting on a quote for a part and he would call me as soon as he received it. I stated that he told me that he would call me on Monday and yesterday (Tuesday), and the calls never came. I told him that it was poor customer service to make promises that he wouldn't keep and to have someone's car for that long without updates on what is going on. I advised that if I hadn't called on Tuesday, he would not have called me, and I still don't know what the issue is with my car. Emeral stated, "Yes, if you hadn't called on yesterday, I would not have called you." I state it's bad business to not keep your word. Emeral stated, "What did it matter?" He was not having that conversation with me.  I asked for the total of what was owed. He stated $0 at this time. I advised that I'd be there to pick up the car. On Wednesday afternoon, I went to pick up my car. Emeral stated the conversation by apologizing.  He stated that he felt bad at the end of the call. He proceeded to tell me the diagnosis, which, according to him, was not the transmission. I remained silent. If the shop specializes in transmissions and they were standing behind previous repairs, why did he not call and state that on Monday? Emeral stated that he would call me within the next 30 minutes with a quote for repairs. Unsurprisingly, the call did not come. We all have lives; jobs and responsibilities, and they all require some form of transportation. Most of us take pride in our automobiles and misses them when they are not available to us.  For a mechanic to have a car for greater than two days without a follow-up call as promised is unacceptable.  I'm applauded at the lack of customer service that is rendered here. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE, find a repair shop that treats customers with respect and whose word is bond. If you don't care about those things, then this is your place.

I've been dealing with issues on my Honda for months now. We originally took it to Honda, and they…read moreclaimed it was just the spark plugs--so we replaced them. Unfortunately, the issue came back not long after. We then brought the car here based on the good reviews, hoping for a real solution. The mechanic said he inspected the car and couldn't find anything wrong except that I needed an oil change and "Honda-specific" spark plugs. He also cleared the dashboard settings, which we found extremely frustrating because that doesn't solve the issue--it just masks it temporarily. At that point, it was already done, and we couldn't reverse it. We went ahead and bought the spark plugs directly from Honda and had them replaced, even though the original ones weren't aftermarket or low quality. Surprise--same issue came back again. Whether it's "higher-end" spark plugs or not, my car continues to have the exact same problems. Honestly, I don't understand why that recommendation was made in the first place. We even spoke to friends who work at dealerships and Honda, and they confirmed that advice was completely inaccurate. The car might be running *slightly* better, but it's like comparing Pepsi to Coke--it's still the same drink. At the end of the day, nothing was truly resolved. At this point, it feels like this is just one of those issues no mechanic seems able to figure out. Disappointing experience all around. Late update, but this happened on July 10, 2025. the only reason i came here was due to the 4.5-4.7 star reviews and the fact that it was near me.

The prices seemed fair for what they did for me, but the one thing that stood out the most to me is when I was having financial hardship in between housing they kindly allowed me to break down my payments, and since I had to leave my car at the shop they even gave me a ride home. They didn't have to do either of these things but the really helped me and that tells me not only are they mechanics but they have a good heart.
