Worst dealership ever the salespeople don't care at all. None of their cars haves facts or pricing on them and I just wanted someone to walk me around to advice me and tell me those facts . I mostly was interested in a 2015 accord and would've bought it if I wasn't so upset. To make matters worse is that they forgot to bring back my license and wouldn't send me an uber to get it or send someone to bring it to me. I'm from PA so I need to have my license it's not a joke. They didn't even call to tell me I left it they waited until I found out. Worst dealership don't do business with them. One of my coworkers actually recommended them to. I'm going to stick with private owners after this read more

BEWARE!!! Make sure you get your own CARFAX don't trust theirs. I bought a 2007 Dodge Charher R/T back in 2009 I was told my car was never in an accident and was shown a clear CARFAX report trusting this car was safe and with no accidents I bought it. Fast forward ... I went to trade in my car today 8/02/2012 and was told my car was in an accident I told them that this was a mistake but they showed me the real CARFAX and sure enogh my car was in an accident 6 months before I bought it. Fortunately this didn't affect me because my car never failed but make sure they don't fool you with a fake CARFAX report read more

Got myself a Hyundai Sonata. I called the dealership and my sales person DJ was very professional and courteous over the phone. He offered to pick me up if I didn't have a ride to get there.. When I got to the dealership, DJ welcomed us with open arms.. He let me test drive a couple of cars until I found the one I like.. He even took me to their other stores for more selections... When I found the car that I liked, he was able to make the financing very easy and stress free.. I am very pleased with my buying experience..Everyone were smiling and pleasant.. Forever great full.. I will definitely recommend this dealership to all my friends... Thanks guys:) read more

rip off they wont even give u the option to decline the lo jack witch they mark up over 50% that probably doesn't even come with the car, and paint protection cost them around $50 which was probably already included when the vechicle was first sold i seen this protecors they come with originally which is build into the sale price scam, alot of people think its a good deal so listen to the reviews wait for another person selling the same car elsewhere all these used card dealerships buy cars from auction and re sell them for profit its fine we all trying to make money but to overpriced a car over its value and on top add scam fees dont fall for the sweet words sales man are their to get paid off commission so all this fees are to make a profit read more

This is a review for people SELLING your vehicle. Never heard of this place until I assessed my car's value using Autotrader's free program and this place came up as one of the dealerships that would honor Autotrader's assessment value. I sold my car to Omar at Fullerton Auto Square last week, and I would honestly recommend this place to a friend. I can't say anything about buying a car from these guys or getting repairs done here because I didn't receive those services, but from my experience this place is a great place to sell your car to. Honestly though, when I first pulled up to the lot I thought to myself "this place seems shady as hell." It really does have that stereotypical used car dealership vibe to it. The place isn't exactly squeaky clean, and the waiting room is more reminiscent of a cheap mechanics' shop than it is of a car dealership. Contrary to the look and feel of the facilities, Omar was great! He was very professional when speaking to me (even though his dress was a little too casual for business) and he took the time to explain the process of how Fullerton Auto Square bought cars. He and his colleague, Josh, got right to it and inspected the car right in front of me. They were very thorough and were the only dealership to actually take the car out on a test drive and put it on a rack to look underneath the car. Big name car dealerships don't do this, trust me, I went to seven dealerships that day! I was offered eight hundred dollars under what Autotrader said my car was worth, so I told Omar I was going to check out the other two dealerships that would buy my car for Autotrader's price. However, Omar told me that he really wanted my car and offered to pay three hundred dollars under Autotrader's price right then and there. I figured "what the hell" considering the fact that Carmax offered me TWO THOUSAND below Autotrader's value, and I agreed on the deal. It took them a bit long to get my paperwork and check ready (approximately 40 minutes when he said it would take 20), but all was done properly and I had my check 40 minutes after shaking Omar's hand for the deal. I gave them three stars because it took longer to get my paperwork done than they said it would take and because the place isn't the most beautiful of car dealerships, but they inspected my car very well and were straight up and honest with me. If you need to sell your car, check out Autotrader's trade-in value calculator and I'm sure these guys will offer you an amount very close to the price you get. P.S. I laughed when another review said they were greeted by a bunch of bros because I felt the same way when I got out of my car. This place isn't the most professional in appearance or mannerisms, but who cares because at the end of the day they get what you need done. I'm a happy camper. read more

Chris helped me today and was very helpful and professional. He didn't mind me taking a little longer to decide if I wanted the car just to be 100% sure it was the right choice he completely understood. read more

I bought a 2008 Volkswagen GTI R32 from Fullerton Auto Square and overall I am pleased with the purchase. Mike Ramirez is a patient salesperson who went the extra mile for me. Mike made the down payment and monthly payment work for me. I was a bit nervous to buy a car because of the economy but he made me comfortable with the terms of the deal. He even came and picked me up from my house to get the car which was Great since I live 25 miles away. I got a good price on the GTI R32 because it was a repossession from a previous owner. There were quite a few items missing or needing attention, which I had to purchase on my own after the sale. (Car manual, aftermarket navigation/stereo manual, replace all of the tires due to low tread wear and floor mats) I also had to pay for an oil change because the fluid was black.. The paint and overall exterior of the car looked in great shape and I have had quite a few compliments on the car. The VW Service Center I took the car too told me the Engine/Components of the car looked good. I would recommend this dealership and would definitely tell people to see Mike Ramirez for a good deal. Just make sure you check out the car you want thoroughly before purchasing and get a MINIMUM of 4 Star plus Warranty. $ 100 deductible with 2-3 years or 24,000 to 36,000 miles on it. Avoid the Basic 3 Star warranty It's just a power train warranty and doesn't cover much. read more

Exceptional service! Came here to look a ford e-350. I was helped by a sales person by the name of Jose "Joe". First off the dealer is clean, well organized and they have a ton of options. Seriously it's like a candy store for kids. The van was clean, well taken care of and had low miles. Jose walked me through van in and out he didn't pressure me into anything. He was extremely patient and understanding to my needs. He listen to what I was looking for and offered some great advice and additional options. Overall I was impressed and very satisfied with Jose and Auto Republic. I will definitely be back for future purchase. Thanks Joe! For making this shopping experience so stress free and easy! read more

I've been looking for a luxurySUV. I stopped by and was quickly greeted by a sales guy. He was super friendly and helpful. Although, they did not have what I was looking for. They did have a large selection of cars. If you're looking for a good used car, you should stop by. Ask for Alex. He is super friendly and provides great customer service. read more

I came made the trip down to this dealer which was 50 miles away because of the great prices and huge amount of inventory! Jay made the transition from a small car to a family car extremely easy. Big property with tons of vehicles and easy financing! I will never shop any where else for a car. I went in on a Sunday with my two kids because as many of us I can't afford to take a day off just to look for cars and Jay had me in and out of there in an hour and a half if that! Everyone was very friendly and there was no hidden fees any where. Everything was straight and to the point! The owner even offered to fill up our gas tank on our new car for coming out! HIGHLY APPRECIATES! must GO read more

Chris was great got us an amazing deal and they worked very hard to get our business. Trust me if they got my business they earned it.

My wife and I were treated very well at Auto Republic by all the staff. Our salesman Andre was great and got us everything we wanted. He's a great listener and puts his customers first. I highly recommend you work with him to find your next vehicle. This place has a ton of great cars in their inventory. read more

Bought a vehicle from them. Although I got what I wanted, here's some thing to be aware of: 1. They didn't wash the car 2. They told us they only put $20 in gas in all their vehicles, they don't fill it up like most dealers before you leave 3. They put LoJack on all their vehicles and force you to pay it. They refused to take that fee off. Shouldn't that be an option and not forced upon customers? 4. No floor mats were included. We did haggle with them a little as they were above market price anyways, but not washing the car, not filling it up and forcing LoJack on your customers is not right. I think I will buy from a major dealer next time read more

This place is not helpful at all. I spent a couple of hours looking at a car there. I even called ahead of time to see the price and the details of the car. The price over the phone did not match the price they gave me in person. They were not admitting to lying about the price. They add way too many fees without letting you know. I live 2 hours away. They completely wasted my entire day with their scams. They are shady and money hungry. This place has horrible service I will never go back. Sergio was the one who lied over the phone. Andrew was the one who added all the fees without asking if I wanted them added. read more

My car had broken down and for two weeks I was looking to find the best car for me. While looking on the web I found the perfect car. I had called at 8:35 which is about five minutes after they opened. I had to drive from Fontana to Fullerton. Finally I got there, and had meet with the same person I had spoken to on the phone, Cesar. After walking around and test driving it, while not feeling rushed, crowded, or even the feeling of a over eager salesmen trying to sell me something. I felt confident after I had driven the car, and sense the price was just a little above what I was looking for it was the perfect buy. By 12 pm I was driving home. So Thanks to Cesar, for helping me with my new car. Also y'all got to spell his name correctly please it's Cesar. And thanks for the awesome car. read more

Found them via Auto Trader and visitors on a whim while in Fullerton this Saturday. Received excellent sales service from DJ and Tien, who were both kind and very knowledgable. They helped us pick the perfect car for our needs and within our budget - our finance guy Ish was able to secure a monthly payment and down that didn't hurt our wallet and post sale service from Solomon was phenomenal. I also appreciated the follow-up call from him, very professional. Love our new Audi! Thanks and will refer this place :) read more

Wow, let me just say even though Auto Republic did indeed drop the ball when it came to my initial visit, they definitely made it up to me and redeemed themselves in customer service, customer satisfaction and overall a great customer experience when they took the time to reach out and hear me out. They acknowledged their mistakes, apologized and let me know what measures they took in order for this not to happen to any other customer that walks through their door! The owner reached out and made it a personal goal for my satisfaction to be met to the fullest. For this I change my review from a one star to a full five star and I would do more starts if possible... I never had a company take so much time to reach out, follow up and turn a bad experience into a perfectly pleasant one. Not only will I recommend Auto Republic to everyone I hear that is looking to buy a car, I will go to them 1st when I'm looking to purchase my next. Thanks for caring so much about your customers Auto Republic, it's not everyday we come across companies like you... Especially from a car sales company ;-) read more

Came to check out a car here that I had interest in and the salesman was very quick to help. The car wasn't their on site unfortunately, but he called their other lot to see the status of the car. It was at their other lot, ready to show. He offered to drive us their so we wouldn't have to use our gas and we could drive the car back to the dealership so we could fully check out the condition of the car. We got to the other lot and checked out the car there. It was pretty clean, but when he started it up, it had a major bogging issue. I had to decline purchasing the car since it was sold as is and I rather not deal with having to fix it. The salesman was understanding, but kept trying to push that he could give us a better deal for the car. But I had to tell him no, but maybe if they had the cars issue fully fixed, then maybe I'd come back for it. read more

Chris was excellent customer service was outstanding. Made the process fast and easy!

Had an AMAZING experience! i got in earlier than i expected, and Chris worked hard with others as we were waiting for him to help us. eventually he helped us out and got us on the road to drive my dream car. As a first time buyer Chris filled me in on what to expect and made me trust him throughout the whole process. Chris worked hard to get me the payment i wanted/needed, it took a bit but it was understandable because of the position i was in. if you go to auto republic i would 100% recommend Chris read more

I was looking for an 8th gen Si, and went to five other dealerships looking at cars. Auto Republic was by far the most professional of them all. From the other dealerships I went to, the price was over $3000 more than the listed price in some cases, from extras that I could not decline, such as mandatory coverage, paint protection, etc. At Auto Republic, the price they listed was the price I paid. Out of six total dealerships, they were the only ones to give me the price they listed. The buying experience was relaxed and comfortable. Johnny sold me my car and he was great. He went the extra mile to make sure the car was fully taken care of before I left. Speaking of which, the Honda Maintenance Minder was at 100%, which was also a first out of six dealerships. The car was clean and looked fantastic. Overall, the car was very well prepared, inside and out. There's a huge benefit to going to a quality, professional dealer, and Auto Republic is a great example of that. Thanks again, Johnny! Love my new Si! read more

Hubby and I came to check out a Subaru. Greeted warmly at the entrance and Fred was more than obliging to let us go for a test drive. He was easy going and made conversation. The car was in good condition and after a little pressuring on credit check, Fred and Tito made us a strong offer based on our great credit. My hubby was not convinced because he wanted to see another car he had on our list. We gave them a monthly payment we were willing to pay for 60mos. After about 2 hours of haggling, they did manage to offer us a really low APR on a used car, and gave us a monthly payment that was below our target, however, make sure to know all the details. The monthly payments were stretched out over 72mos, not the 60mos like we had asked for. Since my hubby had not checked out the other car on our list, he was reluctant to sign the papers and off we went. I will admit that they are very willing to work with you once they know you are well-qualified, however the bottom line for us was the TOTAL payments we would have made over 5 years, not a monthly payment amount below our target. Having said this, I appreciated Tito and Fred's willingness to work out a great deal to get to a reasonable price, and I would probably go back to them if they had a car that we would be interested in the future. read more

After I posted my last review Saul at Auto Republic went out of his way to contact us and make things right. Saul explained to us that dealers are not able to file insurance claims and he and the owner purchased a report stating that when they purchased the vehicle no accidents had been reported.. They also were willing to pay for my car to be completely looked over so that we could figure out exactly what damage had been done. I really appreciate them reaching out to me and my husband! read more

We bought an Audi A4 and we couldn't be happier!!! BIG THANKS TO JOSE!!! He made our experience extremely pleasant and took the time to make sure we were 100% in love with our car! We found our A4 on autotrader, along with a few others at competing dealerships. At first we were a bit hesitant not going to an Audi dealership but WOW did the Auto Republic prove us wrong! Don't let other dealerships give you a bad taste.... i.e. Autoexchange, californiamotorsdirect.... The Auto Republic is all about customer service and a pleasant car buying experience! The prices are really no haggle.... which was a bit discouraging at first, but they are the cheapest you will find in the nation for the mileage, year and options! The most impressive aspect of each vehicle are the complimentary vehicle history checks available, not only do they provide you with the CARFAX, but will provide you with the AUTOCHECK and the NMVTIS history report. Every car tends to have an almost perfect history report, our Audi for example, was a one owner, lease return with all the maintenance done at the Audi dealership. The financing was extremely easy and reasonably fast. They approved us almost instantly (we don't have perfect credit) and gave us one of the best interest rates we have seen! Our trade-in value was higher than KBB, less than other dealerships but it was well worth trading our vehicle in at the Auto Republic for a few hundred dollars.... The process was probably one of the fastest, and the salesmen are not pushy in any way! Thanks again Jose!!! For our next car we will be stopping by Auto Republic without a doubt! In conclusion: Would we buy another car from the Auto Republic?..... YES!!! Yes we would, and we will be referring all our friends and family to the Auto Republic! A few tips for the other negative reviews... 1. Having a vehicle break down after you drive the vehicle off the lot is not the Auto Republic's responsibility.... When buying any used car... you never know what your going to get... therefore I suggest buying a car with a remaining factory warranty & checking on the little things on the vehicle before you sign the papers otherwise, your car is your problem! 2. You are buying a used car.... if you don't get two keys.... or a rim is curb rashed.... and your not happy about it... go buy a new car.... I would assume your buying a used car to save money.... therefore, your right to a perfect car with all the new car benefits are not valid.... sorry.... read more

In response to the updated comment below. I didn't come back 4 years later to let the business know that there were issues. Notice I said, BUYER BEWARE. Not "Business be aware." Those are different things. That's why I left the review. Because after 4 years and, ohh about $7K put into the truck, yeah, its drivable and reliable now. After reading other reviews it seems I'm not the only person who was sold a piece of junk. Thank you for taking the time to respond though. Good day. read more

By far the best experience I have ever had in a car lot in quite a while. I was impress with the selection of used cars that they had at the lot...low in mileage and well cared for as well. A young sales representative by the name of Andrew tended to me with a very professional demeanor...he was up front and very affable. It was a very pleasant and all around quick sale. Before you knew it I was out the door with a satisfyingly good car!! I would highly recommend the sales person, Andrew to find you a car that is suited for your every day needs. I would definitely come here again for a used car in the near future. read more

We recently bought a car from Auto Republic and our experience was a good one. We were met with a friendly staff, especially Andrew, who took us for the test drive and helped with our purchase. He was very polite and helped make our time there pleasant. We got a good car for a good deal. The only negative was that the car only had a quarter tank of gas in it. As a courtesy, we feel that the sales manager should have had it filled for us. You guys still get 4 stars though, thanks again Andrew! read more

BUYER BEWARE. Please be very very careful when you purchase a vehicle from this dealership. DO NOT RELY ON THEIR WORD. MUST GET THE CAR CHECKED OUT BEFORE YOU BUY. I bought a beautiful car, my dream car however, I have only had the vehicle for 3 weeks and have already spend $1200 to replace the alternator. Bought a warranty but found out too late that it covers virtually nothing. Angel was my sales person and he is so super sweet. He has no authority because I believe if he did, he would have made sure that my car was looked at when I sent emails since the first weekend that there was a problem. I was told the car was checked out when I was buying it, however, when took it for red light, there are so many problems, low this and gunk in my fuel injector and so on. THEY MAY HAVE LOOKED AND THEN SHUT THE HOOD. YIKES.... PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS. A very sad, disillusioned and worried "FORMER CUSTOMER." I had no less than 6 people that were ready to go car shopping and there is NO way I will let them go here after what I have been through. read more
