*****SCAM ALERT***** I spoke with 2 different sales people 3 times about the exact pricing of a car before flying in and driving an hour only to find out once there that they add $4,000 to the advertised and agreed upon price of the car for BS add on. When you call them on it they only add a $2,000 dealer fee. *****DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE *****

I have so much to say about Southern California Preowned. I have so much to say about this company. Before making any decisions, I did a lot of research online and spoke with several people who reached out to help. But when I messaged Charlie, something just felt right--like I wasn't talking to a salesperson, but someone I already knew. It felt like home. As a woman with no prior experience buying a car, I was honestly nervous. I was afraid I'd be taken advantage of or pushed into the most expensive option--sadly, that does happen. But Charlie made me feel completely at ease. He was incredibly patient, answered all my questions, and never pressured me into anything. He simply said, "Call us when you're ready." And when I was ready, I went in--and the experience was amazing. I was greeted like a friend coming over for a visit. Charlie, the manager, and everyone at the dealership were kind, respectful, and warm. Always smiling, always welcoming. I ended up buying a 2018 Mini Cooper, and I truly believe it's the best decision I've ever made.

Vinny and all the other guys were awesome! Got a great deal on this 2022 Toyota Corolla LE with pretty low mileage. They sold it for the exact price that was listed on truecar.com. I appreciate how straightforward and honest they are compared to so many dealerships I've been to. The car is in good condition. I wanted to make sure it was ok, so I hired someone from Lemon Squad to inspect it and they were absolutely open to working together for that. Once I confirmed the car looked good, they gave it a wash and even put a new battery in! Vinny really took care of us and the process was smooth and hassle-free. I'm loving the car, Thanks again!

It's been over a month since I first walked into SCP, and I can now fully appreciate what they offer: great used cars. You don't go to SCP to get the cheapest used car. You go to SCP to get an 8 year old Tesla Model X that looks like new. And you'll get great customer service. I bought my Model X "as is", but was delighted when SCP took care of fixing my front passenger power window, after I had already driven away. Mario and Andrew in sales offer excellent service. But of course, SCP is a business. And buying a car always requires negotiating. SCP is no different. Be ready to negotiate, and be ready to go over the details. Buyers have their interests, and dealers have theirs. Buyers should act accordingly. Again: you don't go to SCP to get cheap used cars. You go to SCP to get immaculate used cars.

I wanted to pop back on here and update my review for Southern California Preowned. I've had my 2014 Scion FR-S for 2 and a half years now, and it has been a truly wonderful car with absolutely no issues mechanically or otherwise (besides peeling clear coat on the roof, but that's a Toyota problem). I just wanted to thank Southern California Preowned again for such a wonderful experience. I'm usually hesitant to recommend car dealerships, but I recommend these guys to everyone and anyone I know looking for a new-to-them car.

    Examination of the car.

Took my car to be looked at and the engine is not original- the carfax they gave me was wrong. It had been a previous track car- the mechanic said- I would never have purchased this car. Ever. Awesome.

We set up an appointment for a test drive within the next couple days (she was very flexible with time). I showed up to the lot with my family, to which they were very accommodating. I took the car for a quick test drive & ended up filling out all the necessary paperwork under an hour to purchase the vehicle! Experienced zero pressure from the staff & didn't get hit with any shady dealer fees. An added bonus was that the car had gotten a detail + oil change a few days prior courtesy of Premium Finance! Caveat Emptor -- Buyer Beware…read more I recently attempted to purchase a Ford Transit 350HD from this dealership as an out-of-state buyer. Unfortunately the experience turned into one of the most disorganized and frustrating vehicle purchase attempts I have encountered. This dealership advertises itself as a "family-owned business," which suggests a certain level of accountability and professionalism. That was not reflected in my experience. After identifying a specific Transit van listed online, I contacted the dealership and confirmed the advertised price. I spent several days working through the purchase process, provided documentation, and secured financing approval through my lender (Westlake Financial). At that point the deal should have been straightforward. Instead, the transaction steadily deteriorated. Three nearly identical Transit vans were involved and the dealership repeatedly confused VIN numbers during the process. Pricing changed multiple times after the initial quote. I was eventually told that the price I had been given was incorrect and that the vehicle should have been listed higher than advertised. In an effort to move the deal forward in good faith, I even agreed to the revised higher price. However, the problems continued. A shipping credit that had been advertised was removed, and the dealership then insisted that I would need to pay California sales tax on an out-of-state purchase despite clear documentation indicating otherwise. What was most concerning was the lack of management involvement. The salesperson, Anna, was polite and personable throughout the process and appeared to genuinely try to help. However, it was obvious she had been left to manage a complicated transaction without adequate training or support. When the situation began to unravel, a sales manager should have stepped in to correct the problems and provide direction. Instead, the responsibility for the entire situation appeared to be left on a relatively new salesperson. The finance manager, Emilio, was particularly disappointing. Calls were not returned and basic questions regarding financing and tax obligations were not properly investigated. A finance manager's role is to clarify these issues and ensure the transaction is handled correctly, not to leave customers chasing answers. Throughout the process I remained patient and professional, even as the terms of the deal continued to change. Ultimately I decided to walk away because the pricing, terms, and vehicle information had shifted too many times to proceed with confidence. For transparency, I retained all documentation related to this attempted purchase including email correspondence, financing approvals, pricing discussions, and VIN information. My advice to potential buyers is simple: verify every detail in writing and proceed carefully before committing to anything. A dealership that promotes itself as family-run should demonstrate the coordination, leadership, and accountability that such a claim implies. In this case, that expectation was not met. It's also worth noting that the only time I've seen Maria, the sales manager, get involved is when apologizing for all of these negative reviews. If you read this in it's entirety, please check out my profile. I don't leave negative reviews, only positive. This is my first and its so sad.

When I called the dealership and spoke to Sam about a truck that I was interested in and came in a few hours later, he greeted me with kindness and immediately made me feel like he wasn't just trying to make another sale. He asked us questions about myself on the test drive and it felt like I was talking to a genuine friend and not a salesman. He was patient, understanding, and helpful through the whole process of what my end goal was and was very transparent about the whole process/vehicle and again didn't make me feel pressured or like i was just somebody he was trying to get a sale out of and get in and get out and it made me want to sign the papers even more. The main point that sold me was the honesty and transparency of the vehicle. He has told me what maintenancewas done n wasnt done.. other dealership would just say what a customer would wanna hear n lies about how good the car was but they had told me the background n history of the car. It meant so much to me and his words were very heartfelt and genuine. Everything else went extremely smooth and I will recommend him to everyone from now on who is looking to buy a vehicle. I bought a used 2006 Toyota Tundra with ~$141K miles. Just a tip for anyone who is buying a car that old - you're going to spend more money to get it up to speed - things wear out no matter what with time. Don and his wife Leyna are a wonderful duo - Don clearly takes a lot of pride in the way he runs his business and Leyna is bright, easy to communicate with and very personable. After purchasing the car, I had noticed issues with the rear door lock actuators and brought it up to Don and Leyna. Honestly, it didn't even occur to me to check because you just assume they worked fine. They were very gracious and offered to replace and fix the issues at a fraction of what it cost me. I think this is extremely generous considering the car was bought "As-is" and they had no responsibility to fix it after I drove it off the lot. I think it speaks volumes of how Don wants his customers to perceive their experience at his dealership and knows that it's a small investment for a continuing relationship. This review is NOT intended to advertise or promise anything on their behalf, but my experience with them was great and they definitely earned this 5 start review. I will definitely keep them in mind in the future should I need another car!

I had already purchased an OEM replacement handle from an authorized Honda parts dealer, and initially planned to have the dealership install it. However, the dealership quoted me a very high labor cost and required me to leave my car overnight due to their busy schedule. After doing some research, I found Action Auto in Cypress and spoke with Mark. From the very first phone call, Mark was friendly, professional, and transparent. Best of all, his quote was about half the price of what the dealership wanted to charge. The convenience was a huge bonus. They told me I could bring my car in anytime between 8am-5pm (and even Sundays 8am-3pm). I dropped off my car at 8:30am, and it was ready by lunchtime the same day. On top of that, they even offered a complimentary shuttle ride home--something the dealership no longer provides. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Mark's customer service was outstanding both over the phone and in person. The shop itself was clean and well-organized, and I noticed several repeat customers while I was there, which says a lot about their reputation. Most importantly, my door handle works perfectly now--just like when I first bought the car. I'll definitely be coming back to Action Auto for future repairs. Thank you, Mark, for making this such an easy and positive experience!

He laughed and walked across the lot to the Jaguar dealership and bought TWO cars cash on the spot (gramps only dealt in $100s). He and my dad drove them to the HOI and told the salesmen they should have taken him seriously. Thought maybe they learned a lesson. Apparently not. I stopped going there a year ago.
