Chris was great as was all of the staff. I went to several dealerships before buying here, and let me tell you this place was the only honest ones among them. Yeah, they make you buy a logack and door guards for about 1,100. But at least they are up front and clear about it. Others hid the fact that they did it or charged 4 times as much as AR. One star is too generous for this dealership. They try to sell you a car that's in great condition, so they say, but turns out it's in terrible condition. I checked out an M3 recently, it was in decent condition, appearance wise. But upon further inspection, the rear bumper had missing bolts, the tires were bald, front bumper was loose, and that's just to name a few. And the sales person probably thought I was stupid, as the managers did as well. Trying to tell me the tires are not bald, yeah right! These guys obviously don't care about getting you into a quality car. If they did, they wouldn't sell a half-assed car that only has a car wash to make it look nice. If you plan on buying a car from these guys, be smart and inspect it thoroughly. Side note, I overheard them talking pretty harshly about someone who came in with a pretty bad credit score. Then insulted the guy behind his back about how he's broke and can't even come up with a down. Pretty unprofessional of them to act like a bunch of douche bags. Also, why would they talk down on someone with bad credit? Their poorly written Craigslist ads state that they approve almost anyone...even with terrible credit. I know that all used car dealerships have bad reputations but this experience was worse than I had ever expected. I accompanied the bf for his search of a second car (every guy wants/needs a stick shift). Anyway, we found a 2005 Acura TL online that looked good cosmetically, although it had almost 100k miles. We figured it was worth a look so we drove down to Fullerton to take a look. My personal pet peeve is when the salesperson fails to acknowledge my existence. I know I'm not the "buyer" but you could at least say hi to me even if you don't ask me for my name. As Chris went back into the office to grab the keys for the car, we walked around the lot. EVERY SINGLE CAR HAD MAJOR ISSUES. The TL that looked great online had a bunch of dents all over and it was even keyed by someone. The 350z next to it didn't have the Z symbol. A lot of the Infiniti Gs were also missing the logos. Other cars' side mirrors were falling off. Basically every single car had some sort of exterior damage. We should've just left at that point but we didn't want to be rude so we waited for Chris to return with the keys. HE COULDN'T TURN THE CAR ON! He said that the light was left on and the battery had died, but don't worry, he could jump it right now. What type of idiot leaves the light on? Maybe he was already trying to trick us and that wasn't the real issue. But with keys in hand, we figured we'd give it a test drive. Upon entering the vehicle, I was shocked by the poor interior condition. I mean, this car looked like it was 15 years old. That wasn't even the worst part. When we left the lot, it became obvious that the alignment was off. The thing swerved and was impossible to handle. We were too scared to take it onto the freeway because of its condition. It also almost stalled (and I'm sure it's not due to my bf's driving skills). There were just way too many problems with this car. We returned and told Chris all of the issues with the car and his response was "These are all minor problems that are easy to fix." Bought a vehicle from them. Although I got what I wanted, here's some thing to be aware of: 1. They didn't wash the car 2. They told us they only put $20 in gas in all their vehicles, they don't fill it up like most dealers before you leave 3. They put LoJack on all their vehicles and force you to pay it. They refused to take that fee off. Shouldn't that be an option and not forced upon customers? 4. No floor mats were included. We did haggle with them a little as they were above market price anyways, but not washing the car, not filling it up and forcing LoJack on your customers is not right. I originally filled out their finance application online and they called me back saying I got approved for an apr of 6.9 and I was so surprised as everyone else said it was 25% and lowest I got was 13.9. As soon as I got here..finally chose a car that I liked...they told me it was 21% apr. This place wasted my time and my gas conning me to go there!! I was luckier than most in these reviews as I did not purchase a car from Fullerton Auto Square aka Cypress Motors aka Auto Republic aka "Thier Next Name Change After Shady Dealings". I did go check out and test drive a car that I had found on Auto Trader, a BMW Z4 3.0i automatic, and although my first 5 minutes of conversation went well once I approached the car it was just a step slide into shaddyville. I worked with a sales guy "Name Redacted" (NR) and once I told him the car I wanted he got a little nervous. His first comment was "How about an S2000, we have a few on the lot" This should have been enough of a red flag but I though to press on. Once we got the cars NR had ZERO information on the Z4, knew ZERO about the specs, and couldn't even venture a guess about how the features worked on the car. On my first walk around on the car I noticed a wavy pattern on the rear fender, I thought it might be just a dent that was brought out so I took the car for a spin. The car rode fine and the engine and transmission was smooth. But on the first right turn I could hear a noise from the right rear suspension. NR decided it would be a great time to test the stereo volume and AC, you know so I don't hear the busted suspension. I could tell from a mile drive that the car had suspension issues in the rear. Once back I took a hard look at the right of the car I noticed the corner of the front fender bent, the rocker panel was not color matched and the door was not lined up. I asked to lower the top and NR said he did not know how and didn't want to break it. NR wanted me to go inside for a second, he went strait into the hard sale speech. I interrupted him and asked about a Car Fax, he said he would get it out. He reached into his desk and pulled out the dealer 4 squares (Google it) and wanted to negotiate a deal. I let NR know that I would work out my own financing and needed to talk to the wife as a polite no gesture. He was not having it, he wanted the sale that night, I eventually had to tell him I would call him. At that point he said he didn't have business cards because of a company name change and that he would have to give me info on a post it note. On my way out I checked out a couple other cars and noticed they had accident repair. I think they find cars with "Clean" Car Fax reports but have damage and are cheap to get at auction or under value in a trade. Then just price low to move them on unsuspecting people. By listing them under multiple business names they can reach a broad amount of the types of people born every minute. Final verdict is to avoid. They are unprofessional sales hacks, know nothing about cars, and just hope that hard sales tactics work. They are now known as Auto Republic, so like I said they do regular name changes, its shady. read more

I had called at 8:35 which is about five minutes after they opened. I had to drive from Fontana to Fullerton. Finally I got there, and had meet with the same person I had spoken to on the phone, Cesar. After walking around and test driving it, while not feeling rushed, crowded, or even the feeling of a over eager salesmen trying to sell me something. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. LIES, LIES, LIES. First of all, I live in the Bay Area 5+ hours away from this establishment. I saw the car model that I was looking for with low miles for $2000 less than I could find in the Bay. So, I called and made a deal over the phone with Fullerton Auto Square on the afternoon on 3/2/12. I made an offer and accepted offer for my trade, etc. I gave over all of my personal info and secured financing. I told the salesman that I would make the drive down to SoCal, stay in a hotel, and be in to sign papers at 9:00 AM the next morning. He assured me that this would be fine and that he would "hold" the car for me. I again told him that I was getting in the car with my family and leaving at that moment so that we could be there in the morning to pick up the car. He repeated that the car would be there in the morning for us. After the 5+ hour Friday night drive and sleep at a nearby hotel, my wife, newborn baby and I arrived to trade in our old car and pick our new car. When we arrived at Fullerton Auto Square we were told that the car had been sold the previous evening for "a better offer." Our salesman told us not be be "pissed" at him because his GM "fuc*ed" him and that he lost his commission. We were obviously pretty pissed at everyone involved. He offered to sell us a different car with 20K more miles on it for the same price. We asked to speak with the GM and were told that he did not work on Saturdays. Then, we told him to eat a di*k sandwich and left. Please do not give these clowns your money, they are not to be trusted. Who knows what will happen to you. read more

I purchased my Honda crv over 3 months ago and I still do not have my license plates. First inconvenience is that they gave me a car with an empty gas tank. I asked them to put gas in the car for me and they wouldnt do it!!!!! Who sells you a car with an EMPTY gas tank!!!!!! Then later the tire pressure light came on. When I brought it in and they seemed to have fixed the problem until the light went on again later that night. Once again I had to drive my car over and explained to them that the tire needed to be replaced (they should have known this the first time I came in). This time I spend 3 hours of my time waiting for them to fix the issue that should have already been fixed. I also do not live close to this dealership so driving to them is always a waste of gas, money, and time. It is now over 3 months later and I am here waiting at the dealership because apparently the DMV needs to check my vin number before I can get my license plates, not to mention that my car registration is due later this month and I have no paperwork for it. My question is, why was this not already done?? I have to drive all the way over here, waste gas and time. I am told I will be stuck here for half an hour at the least, wasting my time while they take my car and drive it over to the DMV and use up the gas that I PAID for. I have a friend who bought a used car two weeks after me and they have their license plates and have not dealt with any hassles whatsoever. read more
