I inquired about a trade in vehicle on Offer Up and got a quick response from the guys at Auto Republic. They said they would hold the car for me as i was driving in from over an hour away. Met with the salesman Tito and he had already parked the car up to the front of the lot for me, ready for a test drive. I didn't like that one but then asked him to show me cars available within my price range and I ended up walking off the lot with a 2015 Audi with only 26k miles on it! Absolutely love my purchase and am super thankful for Tito at AR! I'm giving a 4/5 only because of the "optional" but mandatory fees of the LoJack and clear coat that will run you an extra $1,400 at the end. Other than that Tito was a great guy to work with and absolutely helped me walk off the lot with a car I would have never dreamed of buying! read more

I have now purchased two cars from these guys. First we bought a Prius and a year later the car is still purring like a kitten. Runs great and we got a great deal. This weekend we went back and bought a Honda Pilot and I truly love this SUV because I have a growing family and needed more seating. It's in excellent condition and once again I got an amazing deal. Danilo Dulce sold both of these cars to us and made the whole process so smooth it was pleasurable. Love these guys and I will definitely be buying future cars from them as well as my moms new car next year. I strongly recommend them! read more

Typical bait and switch tactics. Drove in from Ontario to Fullerton to check out a Jeep that was listed for just under $27k. Our plans were to use a hefty down payment and finance the remaining balance through our credit union. We ask the dealer about the cash price out the door and we were not given a straight answer. As a matter of fact the salesman pushed to run our credit claiming they can beat our credit unions rate. Fine, we agreed and long and behold their rate was 4 points over what we were looking to spend. To makes matters worse the finance numbers didn't make any sense. They quoted us at a $460 monthly payment for 72 months after a $7k down payment at a 6.9% apr rate. How the fuck does that make any sense. All said and done with the down payment included we were looking at around a $40k fucking Jeep. We kindly asked the salesman for a price break down but instead we were rushed out of the dealership for not signing their "option" contract. Which was their way of locking us down and cashing in on the down payment. We declined and left upset at their shitty ass sales tactics. We later receive a call from said sales man stating they were able to drop our monthly payment but YET AGAIN, I explained that we were going to use our own credit union so I asked him for the cash price out the door and he got upset and hung up on me. Obviously these kids are use to taking advantage of people with shitty credit so if you're looking for a good deal or a decent buying experience at that look else where. I will mention that hours later we finally received a cash price offer which actually was extremely reasonable but even thinking of dealing with the dishonesty and lying again made us look else where for business. Words of advice for your "top" salesman, of atleast that's how he introduced himself. Listen to your fucking customers, I don't know how many times we mentioned that we had our own financing ready and were looking for a cash price. Instead the salemans pushed us to run our credit on site and offered us a ridiculous offer to increase his commission I assume. Pretty ironic that all that effort was put in on getting us locked down only to go back and end up giving us a reasonable offer. As a customer it shouldn't be that hard, and now that Jeep is still sitting on your lot losing you money:) read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! These people are scam artists and will cheat you. All these good reviews are fake. Cars are in poor quality and customer service is dismal. Guess you can't expect any better from these minimum wage moron sales idiots. read more

I'm currently sitting in the waiting room not even 24hrs after my purchase waiting to sign papers to return the GS 350 I just purchased. I knew it had some cosmetic issues for being 5 years old I was ok with that. I specifically asked about how they throughly inspect their vehicles before selling them and the said everything was great on it. They did not let me inspect the vehicle underneath before purchasing which seemed suspicious. I work at a Toyota and can you guess what I did the next day (today) ? Brought it in for inspections and lucky me all shocks are leaking pretty good as well as there being absolutely NO coolant in the radiator! Yeah I drove back to San Diego like this. So for the issues it has it's not worth my time for them to put some aftermarket Shit parts in my car. Right after I sign papers to get my car back that I traded in I will be going to a Lexus dealership and getting a certified car that has half the mileage. Piece of advice to you employees , don't sell shit cars to people that know the difference between a good deal and bad. Also maybe get some smart technicians because I don't know why you'd be paying for idiots that do a so called thorough"" inspection according to your management. Beware of the GS and it's now aftermarket shit that they will put on it after they and or you read this :) Everything on my part still stands. Just so you can get your facts correct I came not at 6:30 and I also did post while I was there :) I will enjoy my new car that's not a joke for what you guys wanted me to pay for it. I wouldn't let your so called service department put OEM on my car since they couldn't even do a proper inspection before it was sold as "nothing being wrong". DO NOT GO HERE AND WASTE YOUR TIME! read more

I bought my M5 from these guys and had a great experience. I can't say enough about how well I was treated. Most dealerships judge my looks because I am usually a little dirty after work (I'm a contractor). Not only did I get a great deal, everyone I met was friendly. Having my fair share of terrible vehicles, Auto Republic really came through. The general manager Jr and sales rep Steph actually cared and gave me the best deal on my 2012 Honda Crosstour. Most dealerships rip you off but Auto Republic saved me so much money and put me in one of the most reliable vehicles. This car drives great, sounds great and looks amazing! Thank you Steph and Jr for being so good to me when I needed it most! I won't forget it! read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE! So they made it happen. They followed-up with me for the next few days ensuring they would help me get the best possible rate my credit allows. Not only did they take my trade-in car, I am now the proud owner of a 2015 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD! Although Andrew was my go-to-guy, I kid you not, I must've been in contact with at least 4-6 awesome people. Sergio and David from finance, Mike the GM, and Ish. Every single one of them treated me very fairly and made sure I was taken care of. If you're even slightly interested in one of their vehicles, set-up an appointment and go for a test drive. You will not be disappointed in their premium vehicles selection as you feel like you're walking into a dealership with brand new cars. Quality. Customer Service. Best rates possible! read more

I've been looking for a Prius C for a while and EJ was the first salesman to make me feel comfortable and confident in my purchase. I wish I could leave zero stars. They Sold my boyfriend a lemon! Will never ever recommend these shady ass Sales people to anyone! Car ran great the first couple weeks then they called us back for random maintenance and ever since then the car has been shit! Took it to the Hyundai dealer and they said we need a new transmission. Update- it's been almost a week and still can't get in touch with the manager Eddie. Constantly giving us the run around and never calls back when he says he is. Super unprofessional. Already seeking legal advice. read more

Harold and Danny were excellent. It was the fastest we have ever bought a car and the most efficient. This is the 2nd car we have bought here and we have had extremely positive experience. We highly recommend Auto Republic!!! read more

Just remember one thing before you walk in to this place don't be a sucker know what you are buying. The sales rep didn't even know anything about the car supposedly He said that it was a new car on the lot and that was not true it's been on the lot for months. Check your car fax & you also have the right to take the car to any mechanic you choose to before purchasing the car. I also was trying to pay for the car in cash . it seem once I said cash the price started to go up not even the manager wanted to help work with me. It's funny I have a friend that purchased a car in cash and they helped him out maybe it's cause I'm a lady and they think we are suckers ‍Maybe like the other review say they are just money hungry. read more

First time buying a car from a dealership and I was thoroughly pleased with the process from start to finish! Before showing up at the lot, I spoke with Danny (salesman) on the phone to check the availability of a car and he confirmed it was still there. He told me to ask for him when I showed up. Great customer service over the phone and even better in person! Was able to test drive the car right when I showed up and the rest is history. The entire process was quick and efficient, but not rushed in the least bit. They understood it was my first time buying from a dealership and were very patient with all the questions I had. When Danny's job was done, Eddie (finance guy) helped me close the deal and let me tell you, Danny was great, but Eddie deserves a promotion and a raise! Excellent customer service and exceptional knowledge regarding financing, insurance, etc. I came to the dealership genuinely thinking that I would not buy that day, so when I decided to commit, it was a bit overwhelming. This feeling vanished quickly because of the excellent customer service and sincerity from both Danny and Eddie. Eddie even hooked me up with a $40 credit to buy gas from a local station! Overall, great experience, great staff, great customer service. 10/10 would recommend buying a car from this dealership. read more

I was blessed with the opportunity to purchase a car through Auto Republic. Johnny was gracious enough to help me out, what a great man/salesperson I was treated very well and drove away with a 2012 Ford Escape that night. Before I left I got to ring the bell. The inside of the building is very comfortable with a great staff to keep ya company. Thanks to Auto Republic for such awesome service. Five star rating for sure. read more

We purchased a car AR had listed on Craig's list. Eddie helped us with the purchase and was professional and a great listener. Overall I had a very bad experience trying to purchase a car from this dealership. I would not personally recommend that you shop here if you're looking for an honest, upfront dealership. I came into see a civic advertised at a very respectable price considering the year and mileage. After test driving I decided that I would want to purchase the vehicle so I went forward with my bank's pre-approval and was hoping to get a purchase order sent to my bank. After I finally convinced Auto Republic I was not interested in financing through them is when the problems started popping up. By the time I was done with my paper work I was informed that all I had to do was wait for them to send it to my bank first thing in the morning. All my bank needed was a purchase order of the final dollar amount. I called when they opened to see if everything was going to plan and supposedly it was getting finished up and would be sent shortly. I called the dealership several hours later and finally at the end of the day they sent it to my bank, mind you, after standard eastern business hours have passed. So I waited a whole day for something I was promised would be done first thing in the morning. The next problem occurred when I received a call from my loan specialist informing me that I was not only paying over $700 market value for the car, but that $700 was not noted anywhere in the purchase order. These were not fees assciated with LOJACK and security as those were noted in the order. They would not finance the loan under those conditions. In a bit of desperation I agreed with my bank to just charge me the $700 out of pocket and they'd just finance the rest. I am not sure if some feelings where hurt but as soon as I spoke to the purchase manager he started raising his voice and getting frustrated when I asked him to make a new purchase order reflecting my own payment of $700. He went as far as to tell me that if I wanted another one sent, Id need to get my butt over there and fax it myself because Ive already had enough accommodation for someone who is not even a customer yet. I was in disbelief, not only was I in the middle of the buying process with them but I was covering their error! I called back and was hung up on shortly and eventually not even answered anymore. All of this after they ran my credit and everything they just acted like I was some joke to them. At best this was Incompetence at worst this a shady dealership whose sole objective is to attach people to dangerous loan conditions. The only good thing I can say about the dealership is the about the gentleman Randy who was very knowledgeable about the car he was showing me and he was extremely polite. He honesty deserves better. Id avoid this place if I was seriously in the market a used cars read more

Recently bought a car. While the car buying process can be daunting I had a great experience here. Bill came out and greeted me with the car ready after I called in ahead of time. Gassed up and ready to go he answered all my questions even some I didn't know I had. He was more than informative went well out of his way to help accommodate my certain situation that I had. I didn't think that I would be able to get into a car so easily. He made the financing options available to me, He practically held my hand through the whole process but I have to tell you it was so easy. I bought cars in the past and they have been long horrible experiences but I will say that I had one of the best experiences here. Not only did Bill go out of his way to help me obtain my car but when I found a small issue out with the car he immediately rectified it had it fixed and I was back on the road quickly. I can't recommend auto Republic enough and I can't recommend bill enough thanks Bill for making this happen see you next year when I upgrade read more

Bought a 2015 Kia Optima SXL from them. The car made a funky noise at initial cold start.. was reassured it was the belt.. I ended up needing a turbo.. I then had to jump start my "NEW" car every time I needed to drive it.. I called them and was told to come down for a new battery.. COOL! When they finished replacing the battery I had opened the hood to inspect it.. well I found that they installed the incorrect battery also failed to secure the battery down so it could have bounced around... I had brought it up and then had to complain that I'd needed to be fixed and then told me I hate to wait because the "mechanic" that worked on my car had went to lunch but further complaint got old battery replaced so I got wait another day while they ordered the correct battery. ALSO the navigation wasn't immediately loading up and the sales man had guaranteed that it would load up just takes some time so I continued to observe the rest of the vehicle.. after a short time I had called them to let them know that it was still defective and they told me why didn't you mention it.. at that point i had advised I pointed it out to the salesman that had reassured me. So them standing behind the sales man they denied I ever mentioned it and refused to fix it for me... I would never but another car from them they're only worried about themselves... The " Sales Manager" which hides behind mirrored glass and refuses to see customers and get upset and tells his men to relay a message " Tell him to keep out of my office " I've called in and requested a call back and had to do three follow up calls throughout the day to never receive a call back.. called the next day asked me if they could call me back and I said no thank you I prefer to wait on hold until someone is available to assist me that's when I began to catch some more attitude... Everything is repaired now besides my navigation no thanks to them... Auto Republic is garbage! read more
