This place was awesome. Saw a car on carfax app and took me to the auto republic in cypress. Staff was friendly especially Stephanie the sales person who helped me when no other car dealership would. Gave me a good deal on my car that I have been wanting and was difficult to find. Very welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the good work guys. read more

Im a first time buyer and came here with my father who is very experienced in purchasing cars from dealers. Him and I were very impressed with the service we received. We were help by a young lady named Stephanie who was very articulate and pure when trying to help us find what we wanted. At no time did we feel pressured into buying something. She as good as it gets when it comes to great service. She broke everything down and answered every question we had thoroughly. Her overall knowledge and the way she elaborated on every detail was unbelievable. I left there with a 2008 tahoe fully loaded. Great car. Never missed a service. Everything documented on the car history. And paid exactly what i wanted to pay. They have a amazing selection of QUALITY cars that ARENT polished rocks like other used dealers. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. Ask for Stephanie. read more

Just bought a 2017 Ford Fusion! I was in desperate need of a new car for my daughter and I. We are absolutely happy that we came to Auto Republic. I have purchased a lot of cars in my lifetime (I'm 59). This was easily the best experience I've had. Jesse Silva and the entire staff at Auto Republic Cypress were a pleasure to work with. I visited the dealership on several occasions looking and researching a couple different cars. I was never pressured to buy or even asked that infamous car dealer question "What can we do to get you to take this car home today"? I did a lot of research and both cars I was looking at were priced extremely fair so their 'No Haggle' policy worked well for me . Financing was also pain free, quick, and to the point. I highly recommend Jesse and this dealership unless you like all the nonsense that typically goes on when purchasing a car. Personally, I'm not a fan so this was fantastic. My only complaint is they need a new Air Conditioner in the office. It was a 90+ degree day and we were dying in there. Fortunately the process was quick and we survived. :) read more

So, I purchased a car and did not have a mechanic or myself really check it over and so despite having nice rims and tires, they were messed up. 2 ended up going flat fast and so I called them and told them the situation and they were reasonable and worked with me to get all new rims and tires. They treated me with respect and so make sure you don't make the same mistake I did, they are honest though. read more

I was reading the other reviews, people will always have something to say no matter what. I pick up a 2011 lancer on 9/16/13 Nathan was the one who help me. the guy was amazing answered all my question with a sincere heart, this was the only place I was able to get a 17,000 car and not having a note over $400, I also got the lowest interest rate ever. Don't always go off peoples negative commits you will become like them. These guys are good read more

We just had the best ever car buying experience! It was all so fast and easy. We bought another car recently at a large dealership and the difference was night and day. Stephanie and Marco are so pleasant and extremely helpful. Brady is knowledgeable and fast. He got us financing that beat our credit union interest rate. There was no haggling. We got a great car at a great price and they gave us what we wanted for our trade. We found this place by chance. I'm so glad we did. After the kind of service we had today, we'll keep coming back. read more

I went to this dealer to purchase a Mustang GT and they were super helpful and fair. They didn't have the exact one that I wanted but they actually went out and found one for me a few days later. Where to start?? Many of you could relate to this situation of purchasing a car and it breaking down. For almost 10 years I been chasing my dream on a Honda S2000 and I decided to look up dealers around my area who had some. So I started searching on March 9th and I found a total of 5 and like every car buyer i didn't know where to get it from, I was honestly scared to purchase another vehicle cause literally about 6 months ago I got myself a car from another dealer and not even 3 months later it broke down on me and the dealer turned me down when I needed help fixing it. After all the owner of the dealer said "we were friends and I could count on him" but didn't seem like that when I needed the help. I Spent a lot of money fixing that car and I mean a lot!!! I was stuck fixing it and paying for it when it didn't even work...... I'm honestly still scared to get another vehicle after that whole incident happened. But this is a Honda so that does make a big difference. Enough of that, so I just decided to submit applications to see if I would get approved. I did not unfortunately on 4 even Auto Republic due to already having one car loan and mid Credit but the salesman Angel was very eager to help me and kept me motivated and optimistic, he kept speaking to his manager Ivan and tried to see what we could do. We ended up needing a co-signer, it was then when I knew I was screwed cause I didn't have anyone who could and sure as hell mommy and daddy didn't help me on my first car so I just gave up. Angel told me what about your wife?? My wife has a part time and had 0 credit or so I thought. Turns out since I been adding her to all my credit cards as an authorized user I boosted her credit so much that it was just couple points below mine. So adding my wife to the contract with a a little more pay and credit to aid me I got approved. on March 10th which was this past Thursday. This location is like 1 hour from me and almost 2 from where I work. I decided to go down there right after work to inspect the car good and see where it lead me to, so we ended up showing a bit before closing time. Angel came out and we started talking, I test drove the car, inspected it, etc... No problem what so ever!!! I was happy but yet I thought about my previous buy and was honestly backing down.... I was stuck between accomplishing my dream and just turning back from fear. I spoke to my wife and she told me what are you doing just go for it this is all you've ever wanted and now your here babe. Good motivating words from the perfect wife. Brought my motivation back up and we went for it. Everything went smooth. The manager Ivan came out and we all started conversations. They are honestly great people. It's been 2 days since I've had the car and honestly no problems yet and I hope not. I do appreciate what they have done for me and I did like their customer service that it why tonight if everything goes well my brother will be going for a Cadillac. Now I hope they keep up this customer service like if I have any car issued or questions down the line..... I will repost another review after the Cadillac if it's a success and another one about 3 months from now to let you guys know how the cars are running. read more

Jesse helped us out with the test drive and crunching of the numbers. He was very kind and patient with us. The manager also spoke with us in a professional and honest manner. We feel as though they truly wanted to sell us a great car, and we are very happy with it! We ended up buying a warranty (service agreement) and our biggest struggle is knowing whether or not it's worth it... We had to take our car to the Fullerton location for some maintenance and they were very kind and professional at that location as well! read more

Great experience!! Love my car!! This is the only car dealership that I have experience that provides you with 3 different type of car fax reports from 3 different companies. I was able to compare all 3 reports side by side and this gave me an additional sense of comfort knowing the car is in great condition. I highly recommend you make an appointment. This will ensure you have priority on purchasing the car you are looking at. When I was at their lot, there was someone else also looking at the same car but since I had an appointment, I had priority. I highly recommend them and plan to buy another car from their dealership. read more

Do NOT use Cypress Motors. They print out a false report on their vehicles and sell them. A year after buying my truck I get the real report on it and it turns out it's been in 3 huge collisions. According to Cypress Motors it was 0. On top of that they didn't mention it was illegal to be on the road. If you want to go bankrupt, use Cypress Motors. read more

My experience was SO/SO i test drove the car everything was well so I went ahead and did all the paperwork next week came back for it and it had a check engine light so I went ahead let them know they said it was because they pumped gas told me I should bring it back if it didn't go away Took it home 2 days later never went away took it to my mechanic he said it was 02 sensors that I should take it back because was worth 600$ But when I did all the paper work I didn't get any 30 day warranty they didn't want to give it to me . So they tried sliding off with that but my mechanic told me there's no way they could have sold that car and passed smog with what the cars computer is showing so I told them about that after one or two weeks of going and fourth they finally agreed to fix it . picked up the car heard a pulley noise I let them know about that on the spot about it . They were saying I was lucky I had gotten the check engine fixed so I didn't want to argue so I went ahead and fixed it myself and also a hose ripped and all this happened before my first car payment . Only reason I'm giving two stars was because steph the car sales was nice read more

Apparently my money was only good here when they were trying to get a weekend bonus. I went in on my first visit looking at an entirely different model than I ended up settling on. The manager offered me a deal and offered to throw in everything I was interested in. Since I hadn't done any research on that particular model, I said I would look around and come back. When I came back about a week later, it was a struggle just to get back to the point I left off with the manager and I had to plead for every little item that the manager had said "no problem" to throwing in (apparently the manager was unreachable because he just got on a plane) . The "sales guy" (if you could call him that) did not seem interested in selling me the car and even told me that the manager had offered me the great deal in an effort to reach their weekend bonus. I took the car and got it inspected, and even though it checked out OK, the sales guy's attitude was a complete turn-off, like I was begging him to let me give him my money (paying CASH!), I walked away from the deal because he refused to have any sort of discussion with me, said that the manager's numbers were "breaking even" and that was that. I refuse to believe that the number barked at me within 5 minutes of seeing a car was "breaking even" for the dealership, I guess he figured he could make more off some other sucker. I don't know whether I am grateful to have saved the money or wish that I had encountered a better sales person because it was a good deal on a car I'd be happy with. I'm sure this dealership is a good place to get low prices on used cars, just do your research before going in and don't let them bully you! And don't expect a joyful experience. read more

Cypress Motors is by far the worst place I have ever dealt with. In December of 2013 I purchased a Ford F150 from them and right off the bat I started having problems with them and the truck. Month one I had a problem with the throttle body and had to pay for it myself because they tried to send me to there mechanic who has a terrible rep. Month 2 have my ignition coil blow out. Month 3 I have my battery stop working. Month 4 transmission problems and was forced to surrender the vehicle. I was dealing with Nathan who was a terrible person who would do and say anything to sell you a car. I would call him about these problems and he would tell me it was my problem because I bought it. After I would still try and contact him and he would ignore my call and never call me back. After informing everyone about how terrible of a place this was I found out my uncle Danny Q who also purchased an F150 from them which was nothing but problems and forced him to continue to keep fixing it every month. This place is the worst dealership I have ever been to and DON'T recommend anyone to come here. read more

I've had a terrible experience the last time I purchased a car from a dealership so I was really sketchy on doing it again. (I was traumatized by the horrible experience). But Auto Republic is definitely what they say they are. They are truly committed to helping their customers and at the end of the day they want their customers to be comfortable with what they are purchasing. I met with Lilly 2 weeks ago and saw an Infiniti that I liked, ended up purchasing it. Did a trade in that I still owed about $10k on, I put $3k down to cover what I owed on the previous car so I didn't even put anything down towards the new car and still got an amazing interest rate 15% less than my last one so I was super happy! I drove the car a few days and I wasn't happy at all. I explained to Lilly the issues and she told me what my options were. The same day I went over to Santa Ana location and drove off in a car that I absolutely loved and had no issues with. On top of that, I didn't even sign a cancelation agreement and there was no cooling off period and I already had the Infiniti for 4 days, and they STILL let me switch it for another car and I can honestly say I'm super happy that I found Lilly & Ivan, they worked with me and pulled a lot of strings for me. They really helped me out so much and I can't thank them enough. They put up with me and my pickiness and everything else. These people are great. Don't second guess go to Auto Republic and ask for Lilly or Ivan (the manager), they will get you in the car you want. Just seeing how they love their job and they are happy to help you makes you feel great that you're not just another sale but they actually care. Thank you Lilly & Ivan read more

Great place, very helpful. A lady by the name of Steph helped me out and was able to get me in a car same day. Quick and easy.

I went this weekend lookin to pick up a rsx Kevin was helpful but fed me some shit about a bigger down payment on a older car cuz of the down payment so he showed me a honda which was cool I like it out my price range but he was saying he could make my payments low with a small down payment just cuz it was a newer car ok well I fed into it and he needed my pay stubs to make it happen so I didn't have em on me so he said I can just get em tomorrow and send him a picture then he'll let me know what's going on with the banks so dude never called me or texted me back the next day I called em after I got off of work like 8 said sorry it's been super busy he's barly eating lunch then I asked how much they wanted for the car and he said 13 told him on kbb was 11 so all he says is really? Well I'll give you a call back once I'm done it's been a couple days already haven't heard a word missed out on a buyer takin my business elsewhere don't feed into the bullshit do your research first read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!. While I did get a fair deal on a truck I purchased from here there were many problems that could not be recognized even upon a pretty in depth initial inspection which tacked on unexpected expenses. I put a deposit on a truck to hold it so that I could drive in from out of town the next day. I asked the salesman (Bill) to note any and all dents/damage that the car had and send me photos, he did but only one. By the time I showed up the next day in the evening time the light was not conducive to seeing dents and give the truck a great body line inspection. It ended up having 3 pretty big dents right on body lines that I was able to see the next day in direct sunlight. But wait! It gets worse! This dealership, like most I'm sure, claims they thoroughly inspect their vehicles to insure they're good to go. Well after purchasing the truck and heading home, I was not even 100 miles away when the front drivers side fender well came loose and began to rub on the tire. Being that I was traveling through the grapevine on I-5 I could not immediately pull off the road which resulted in a completely destroyed fender well. Once off the road I inspected it to find it was missing a majority of the bolts that hold it in place, some inspection ehh? I contacted the salesman, Bill, and he told me to try and fix it. Fix it?! Half the fender was now missing and I was in the middle of nowhere! Now I know that this was an as is, no warranty purchase but come on! I paid top dollar for this truck and now they're just ignoring me completely. Shame on you Auto Republic. read more

What an experience, all car buying experiences should be this outstanding. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, the manager Brian couldn't have been any nicer or more knowledgeable. At no point did we feel any pressure to purchase a car or the additional add ons typically pushed onto a prospective buyer. Got a great deal on a great car and had an overall great experience! I imagine all 4 Auto Republic lots are all as well ran as the lot in Cypress, if you see a car you like on their lot...check them out and you'll be as happy as we are. read more

What can I say about Auto Republic. I bought about 3 cars from here. I must admit out of those vehicles. I was not happy with a recent vehicle I purchased nothing wrong with it mechanically just lost interest in it. I sent a email and Junior which is a manager at the store. Got back to me swiftly he told me to bring back the vehicle and he will get me into something I like. To make a long story short I ended up getting something I really personally liked. Junior and Chris which was the salesman that helped made the process easy gave me awesome rate and deal. So I take the car home but my wife disagreed with what vehicle I brought back home. So I called Junior once again and told him my situation and that I needed to get into a more "family friendly" vehicle. I would say most dealerships at this point would probably tell a customer to go "Kick Rocks" and to bad you already drove off the lot...but honestly Junior was there again to the rescue and stated he will see what he can do and will talk to the owner personally about the situation at hand. So the next day he calls me with good news. Tells me to just bring the vehicle back in and he will get me into something that I and the wife would like and agree on. Chris and Junior again helped through the process. And made the return easy as can be with no hassle still gave me the same rate loan term etc...and I drove out of there happy as can be and with a more family friendly and wife, baby approved vehicle. If you are looking for good preowned vehicles give them a call ask for Junior,Chris, or Lilian and trust me they will help you through thick and thin. Trust me they have earned a customer for life. read more

5 stars to this place! In all honesty, this place is not like any other. Have you ever been to a dealer where all they do is talk, talk & TALK ! and try to offer you many cars that you don't even like ?! Well you're lucky this ISNT that type of place ! We came in looking for a car for my boyfriend and ended up leaving with one for ME! From the start upon reading the reviews on yelp on Lilly I was convinced that she was the one who I hoped I would talk to as soon as I drove in ! Well when we walked in... guess what ?! We were greeted by Lilly M! She gave us details on a Kia Optima LX that we were interested in prior into looking on their website. She never pressured us, she tried getting us the best deal she could for a first time buyer! She explained everything throughly and made buying my very first own car experience great! I highly recommend asking for Lilly as she's so easy to communicate with! Believe me she's not like the other type of dealer salesmen that ask you millions of questions as to why you can't buy their car ! She gives you the time to think about it without any pressure. Auto Republic & most of all Lilly definitely have my family's business next time we want to buy a car(s) ! Thank you so much Lilly ! read more

Auto Republic - 2 great cars purchased from Auto Republic ! Thank you Lilly ! - Auto Loan Providers Near Me - Cypress, California

First of all Angel was literally an angel, he tried all his best to help us get a good price on a car which we weren't real certain to buy. We went there to look at multiple cars, but they pushed us on buying only one rather than letting us look at more cars. After we had decided to think about other options of buying a car later because we weren't so sure about car after test driving it. Another sales woman named Stephanie, was very rude starting off by asking us why we didn't want the car, even when Angel knew what the reason was. She disrespected my parents by talking to bad about their credit score especially when it was 740 (which is pretty high), and she kept on insisting that we technically wasted their time, when literally the place was empty. We have bought cars before from CarMax and Lexus dealerships and we've never ever have been treated like this. On behalf of my parents and I, I would like to say that Stephanie should change her attitude and treat her customers with respect because next time I won't be as nice as I was today. Sincerely, A customer not worth losing. read more

Ok, so I don't buy bunch of cars so I cannot call myself an expert on the subject. We had been looking to get a used Sequoia for some time and had visited about 10 dealers and test drove about 15 vehicles. Stumbled upon a Sequoia Platinum at this dealership so even though it was a little far, I thought it would be worth the trip. Let me just tell you, it was. There was a lot of great follow up and information from Stephanie our salesperson who was so relaxed and non high pressure during our transaction. We ended up trading in a vehicle that we were very happy with the trade we were offered, and got an SUV that is in excellent condition at a very good price. There was no pressure and no haggling. Would I have liked to have saved a couple more bucks? Sure, who wouldn't, but after what I had shopped I knew I got a great deal. Thanks to Stephanie and the rest of the team for the wonderful shopping experience. They even give you bottled water! read more

Chris sold me an amazing car and was a pleasure to do business with. He made the dreaded car-buying experience a rather pleasant one. I came in there from another dealer an hour earlier and was very clear that I wanted none of the "BS" and he totally understood. I was there for about an hour or so, traded in my car for another one for the price I was very firm about and drove off satisfied. He also explained every detail to me upon the signing the forms. This is probably the first time I wasn't ripped off at a dealership. Other salesmen are snakes and openly offer you crappy deals as if it gets no better than that. Chris wasn't like that at all and was absolutely amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Auto Republic. After sitting through a ton of time-wasting crap with other salesmen at other dealers, I can't help but note how much business they probably lose because of how dumb they think everyone is, but Auto Republic didn't play any games. They're straight-forward and I'll strongly suggest to anyone in the market for a car that they come here and ask for Chris. Thank you again, Auto Republic! read more

DO NOT TRUST. This dealership went to extreme lengths to hide problems with the car they sold me. The check engine light was "from a dead battery," and would, "surely go away once you drive a few miles." Turned out to be a problem with the exhaust system that was a $5000 fix. The loud noise from the diesel engine was from the "missing engine cover," which turned out to be a scapegoat for a broken flywheel ($2000 fix). The vehicle history report that they gave me showed NO history of a crash, but when I recently sold the car I found out that it HAD been in an accident. How this was covered up is beyond me. When I tried to return it I was told, "You bought it as-is. We will not take it back." Do NOT trust these people. I took a $15,000 hit on this vehicle. They are professional scammers. read more

Please go to very bottom of page and read the rest of their reviews before visiting or calling. These 5stars are people that are constantly fooled or easy to please or friends of the employees. They clean up cars SO nice because of the problems they are hiding. Vehicle they sold me had a check engine light LESS THAN A WEEK after I took it off the lot!!! So, they clear codes instead of fix problems! Scammers!! Traded in a car they gave me half of what I bought it for. Put their own insurance on the vehicle when I had it already (since you need it to drive off lot) and fuckd my credit up cuz it went into collections!! Shady bastids!! They let me test drive the vehicle without anyone else and were so sweet before they got their money from the finance company. AFTER they got their money, they wouldn't fix the cel saying that it was sold as is and nothing else promised, wouldn't return calls or texts. I was given a ridiculous APR because I thought it was due to my low credit, when I found out from another company that they screw lots of people and I got less than half the APR!! Crooks!! Shouldn't have been an idiot to make a "deal" with these morons. But, lesson learned and they won't get any of my friends' or families' trust cuz they broke mine. Too bad, they couldn't be an honest place - they're just another "stealership". Joe, the "manager" should be fired, Stephanie was just a fake face like them all for a sale, Edgar was nice but not very knowledgeable, "ish" was just a joke the entire time giving false information and passing himself off as a manager. They should be hearing from an attorney soon enough. That was too many red flags to be just ok. read more
