I tested a veloster based on an advertisement price listed at $9984. After a test drive, I was presented a quote with an additional lojack fee of $995 and clear coat (paint) fee of $495 that was not listed in the original advertisement. They try to get you in the door, and then add on hidden fees that weren't in the ad in the attempt to make it appear as if they lowered the price for you. Go to another dealership! These guys will try to use bait and switch strategies and do whatever to fool you. Not this guy, though. To the guy who tried to sell me, you give sales people the bad rep you all have. The guy wouldn't let me take the quote, only a picture. Every other dealership that I've been to would.

You love to see a "no haggle" dealership that automatically adds $1000 for LoJack (a freaking joke since a gps+odb2 tracker can be had for 1/100 the price these days) AND A $500 nonsense "clear coat" which is basically a spray on wax. I mean seriously folks, these are the same tactics we used when I was selling cars in 1999, I can't believe y'all still trynna pull the same stunts. Gtfouttahere with those hidden stealership fees!

One of the best car buying experience I've ever had. These guys are not out to take all of your money. They sell you quality cars. I just recently bought a 2014 Camaro 53,000 miles for unbelievable great price. One of the salesman named Joseph went out of his way to make sure that I had an opportunity to look at the car before someone else bought it. You can't get that kind of loyalty from other places. Come in, be respectful, And drive away with your dream car.

I'm about to lay it on the line here, and all of the "One Star" ratings are "Spot On" as the rating I gave them above! Scam is an under statement. 2013 Camaro purchased two days ago is now back on the lot and $500.00 less in our pockets due to the lies told to us prior to sealing the deal. It is illegal for a licensed dealer to sell a vehicle to a customer with an active recall issued to that vehicle which is what they did to us. It was Auto Republics responsibility to have had that recall corrected before it rolled off the lot. They told us that it could bee corrected at any GM dealer or certified mechanic by making an appointment. NOT TRUE! We were on our way to do this, in addition to have a repair made with the extended warranty we purchased for $1900.00 due to a repair the failed on the cooling system at their Fullerton location. They had told us that the problem had been corrected, yet that evening of the day we drove it off the lot, it was back. LIES AGAIN! With under 24 hours of ownership, the S##T hit the fan with a Christmas tree of warning lights on the dash screaming at us. I can't make this up, and would have rather been able to keep the car for our son who had fell in love with this beautiful car. Beauty my dear reader is only skin deep, and got it back quickly under the 48 hours of ownership to cancel the deal, and lose $500.00 dollars to get out from under the commitment. This is crazy, unethical, shady, and a kick to the nuts as far as I'm concerned! This place is like a massive puppy farm of unchecked, and dangerous cars and trucks! I have always lived by the rule of "don't judge a book by it's cover" based on the looks of this place, but I should have in this situation. Looks like a dump, but they had the car we have been seeking for some time. It had spent 3 months on the lot prior to us seeing it, and when asked why, it was due to Covid-19 because SUV's were more popular than sport coupes. BS! This whole charade has only solidified my beliefs that used car salesmen are snakes that prey on uninformed customers, and YES, I was one, but never again! Don't let the cheerful faces and lies sway you like they did to my son, wife, and embarrassingly enough, ME! They run dealers in Orange, Fullerton, and Cypress. Remember the the name: AUTO REPUBLIC! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Thank you. BTW: I could have bought the same car from a dealer in Temecula (Paradise Motors) for $2000 more that came with a free expended warranty of 5 years / 100k miles but didn't want to drive the distance. NEXT TIME I WILL IF I CAN FIND ANOTHER CAMARO!!! UGH!

I recently had a great experience with Action Auto and wanted to share…read more My Honda CR-Z driver-side door handle mechanism stopped working (apparently a common issue with these cars). I had already purchased an OEM replacement handle from an authorized Honda parts dealer, and initially planned to have the dealership install it. However, the dealership quoted me a very high labor cost and required me to leave my car overnight due to their busy schedule. After doing some research, I found Action Auto in Cypress and spoke with Mark. From the very first phone call, Mark was friendly, professional, and transparent. Best of all, his quote was about half the price of what the dealership wanted to charge. The convenience was a huge bonus. They told me I could bring my car in anytime between 8am-5pm (and even Sundays 8am-3pm). I dropped off my car at 8:30am, and it was ready by lunchtime the same day. On top of that, they even offered a complimentary shuttle ride home--something the dealership no longer provides. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Mark's customer service was outstanding both over the phone and in person. The shop itself was clean and well-organized, and I noticed several repeat customers while I was there, which says a lot about their reputation. Most importantly, my door handle works perfectly now--just like when I first bought the car. I'll definitely be coming back to Action Auto for future repairs. Thank you, Mark, for making this such an easy and positive experience!

Owen and Ultimate Autohaus are the absolute best mechanics you can get…read more At a separate independent mechanic, when I went in for an inspection about an intermittent grinding sound when turning, I was recommended ~$10,000 in repairs ranging in "urgency", including a $700 quote to fix the grinding noise. I went to Owen for a second opinion, and he independently found everything the other shop had found, but gave much better context about the time until the "urgent" fixes would be necessary's and the consequences of delaying them, and it turned out the fixes were hardly urgent. Not only did Owen give a great explanation and context for the issues listed, he was incredibly personable and a pleasure to talk to. Additionally, Owen was an expert on our BMW, and was able to fix the intermittent grinding (specifically a loose brake cable) noise for ~$250 parts and labor. Additionally, Owen was a superb help in regard to a repair on a used BMW iX I purchased, which needed a headlight replacement (~$5000 at dealer). With Owen's help and advice, I was able to get a replacement headlight and control module installed ~$1400 parts and labor. Without a doubt, Owen is the best mechanic I've ever used, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

BUYERS, BEWARE!!!!…read more Off the bat, take your business elsewhere please. I purchased a used vehicle from Luxe Motors and it has been an absolute nightmare. Within just a month of owning the car, major issues started showing up--engine oil pressure warnings, camshaft failure, oil leaks, check engine lights, and a severely overdue timing chain (which should have been replaced before the sale). These were not minor repairs. These were serious, pre-existing mechanical problems that were either overlooked or deliberately downplayed by the dealership. When I took the car to an independent mechanic, they gave me a detailed diagnostic. I brought that back to Luxe Motors--only to be told my mechanic was "just trying to scare me." They said it was just a sensor and claimed they fixed it. But not long after, the same issues came back--worse. At one point, I was going back to the dealership twice a week trying to get this resolved. They only took my complaints seriously once I started escalating. This is not how a reputable business should operate. What you need to know: * They do not perform thorough inspections on the cars they sell. * They dismiss serious mechanical issues unless you fight to be heard. * The 5-star reviews are misleading--they pressure or incentivize customers to write glowing reviews during or right after purchase, when everything feels fine. The real problems start about a month later, when you're stuck with a lemon and monthly payments. * Their review strategy misrepresents the true consumer experience and creates a false sense of trust for new buyers. Im was a young 19 year old girl, who knew nothing about cars and dealerships and has no adults/professionals near her to assist. I was desperate for a new car after my everyday reliable broke down on me finally. They saw this and took advantage of my situation Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Luxe Motors might seem helpful during the sale, but if anything goes wrong, you'll be left on your own, they might "help" you fix the issue but request a fee under the table (if you're naive like I was then you'll pay it--DO NOT), and FYI these "repairs" will be absolutely bare minimum and negligent--or worse, you'll be straight up blamed!!!! Jose might seem nice but this is all a part of their customer service requirement to sell their lemon vehicles. I directly asked him PRIOR TO SALE: "are there any mechanical issues with this car? It's going to be my birthday present to myself. I would be disappointed if you lie". And he reassured me and let me know that the car was in mint condition. The Auto Check History might also look convincing--this is because they do not disclose the main issues. THESE ARE AUCTIONED CARS. Better off going to Carvana!! **Side-note: They also like their payments through Zelle which is soooo shady in itself.
