I purchased a vehicle from Mark. After test driving the car twice we negotiated a price. He asked me what I did for a living, when he found out I am a single mom and a special ed teacher he ceremoniously dropped the price for me. He also said he was sending the registration to the DMV and I would recieve my tags within 10 business days. The next day the engine light went on. I took it to his mechanic who said it was just a loose cap in the engine. He ran a diagnostic, reset the light and said the engine was fine. Three days late the light went on again. I went to the dealership to ask why this car is having engine problems already. He fast talked about the unpredictability of machines and sent me back to his mechanic. This time when I asked about the registration he said it takes 30 to 60 days. His mechanic explained away the light, ran a diagnostic and said the engine was fine. Then Brandon from Motorsports called me to come in and pay $495 for my registration. I went into the dealership and Mark told me that he never said he had paid the DMV fees but that I had better pay them now or I would have late fees. I asked him to show me the paperwork and he refused. He would turn a computer screen toward me quickly turn it away and tell me I had to pay through him or my registration would be late. He continued to call me and ask for more money for registration and warranties all the while the car's engine light is still on. I went into the office and demanded the paperwork so I could actually go to the DMV and get the tags. He said "the DMV doesn't do that, give me the money, I give you a registration card and you can take that to the DMV. They were blatant lies. I finally got him to give me the paperwork and the car had never been registered to the dealership. There was still a bank lien on the car and back registration dues of $1,500. I finally took the car to the dealership and they told me the engine was dead. Mark is a conman who did irreparable damage to my finances while pretending to be giving me a deal. Most people would agree that "Fundamental honesty is the keystone of business" Don't expect this in the least from "M Motorsport" of Long Beach, California 90804. Here's a snapshot of my experience: - Test drove vehicle and made cash offer of 10K on a 12.5K sticker price. - Countered to 11.5K, but a 1K difference in price was not enough to close the deal. Kindly thanked them for the opportunity, left, and was happy moving on. - Received a follow-up call from "M Motorsport" the very-next-day with an invitation to buy the vehicle for $11,900 ($600 discount) -Best they can do per manager's approval; I said let's make it 12K even, to not take-away from the sale's person $100 commission. - On the call, we agreed and confirmed the sale price of 12K, contingent on acquiring the vehicle's inspection report (since car is sold "as is"). - In my mind, this meant 12K + Tax + Title + License fee and minimal document preparation fee. - Next, along with the inspection report, I received the Purchase Order (PO) from "M Motorsport", which I carefully reviewed, and noticed an additional "Vehicle code" cost of $500. - Followed-up immediately and stated that the inspection report and the PO all look good, with exception of the $500 Vehicle code cost that would need to be removed from the PO in-order-to move forward with the purchase. I have been shopping around for a new used car and decided to go through M Motorsport. I emailed them about a car I was Interested in and got a response from Papa, we emailed back and forth during the week, worked out some numbers and all was set to go that weekend when I could go pick up the car. I called a day or two before I went and they let me know my application was being processed for a white Prius when I had mentioned I was only interested in the black Prius. Austin mentioned that all the paperwork was down for the white one but the he went ahead and adjusted it for the black one (this should have been my first red flag.) I decided to check out their yelp and see a previous review of a potential customer explaining the same issue of dishonesty but decided to look past it and give them the benefit of the doubt. I also went on their website and noticed the black Prius said sold, but i was thinking maybe they're marking it sold bc i said i was going to come in and buy it. So I call them the morning of the day I go in person, an hour before I am scheduled to get there (11:30am) to make sure everything is still good and in order and the car I want is still available and I'm reassured it is. When I arrive, I'm made to wait a bit which is understandable bc there was only two or three people working. Well when they finally bring the car around, it's the white Prius. At this point I'm kind of annoyed because how many times can a person clarify what they don't want and what they do want? I'm hesitant to look at other cars because I know the budget I want to stick to and if I'm making a big purchase I want to make absolutely sure I love it. But since I'm there, I'm going to be a good sport and test drive something similar. I only test drove a different car because I was told price wise it was a little more but not too big of a difference ($127 certainly seems like a big jump to me) and I was told that it was in perfect condition yet when I pointed out there was some scratches in the back, their response was "well it's a used car and it's 6 years old, it's too be expected". I guess he used perfect loosely. Anyway, we talk to the finance guy and he couldn't offer anything better so he tried telling me to look past the interior, to buy seat covers, to look at different car yadda yadda. All his suggestions were things that I could do or that I could look past but none of the suggestions were something he could do for me. I decided initially not to write a yelp review because it is a sales business and things can change quickly even though i know this change didn't just happen right before i got there. However, after being sent a follow up email and getting a response that basically said, "it's not us it's you" I've decided to share my experience so other potential buyers don't waste their time or gas and maybe go the extra mile to make sure that they are not being misled. When I walked into M Motorsport I had a feeling I would be purchasing my truck there, after finding the truck I wanted through an online ad. I was greeted by Jose who was real friendly and offered to bring out the beautiful black 2011 F150 FX4 for me to see and drive. I wish my entire transaction could consist of dealing with Jose. He took me to see a manager named Q who, after a bit of negotiating, offered me a good deal. I still shopped around some more before coming back three days later to finalize a deal for my new used truck. I had to return the next day after that because I had to pick up my check from my credit union and bring it to M Motorsport. Jose was there on a Saturday to release the truck to me despite it being his son's birthday. Sorry and thank you for that Jose! If this review was for Jose and my new F150 only, this would be a 5 star review, no question. I considered taking a star only because I left the lot with a near empty tank of gas, ~25 miles to empty, and I had to pay $97 to fill it up just after taking my truck off the lot. Maybe they were recuperating some for the deal they gave me, or maybe it was an honest mistake and they forgot to fill it up. Maybe they'll say hey come back for a full tank of gas anytime! PLEASE READ!!!!! Hello buyers out there.... I'm writing this review to save you MONEY, frustration, headaches, and unnecessary issues! I purchased a vehicle from M Motorsport 2 weeks ago and the very next day I realized that the drivers side mirror was bonded together so it wouldn't move at all. I also had to get the transmission hose replaced because it busted, the transmission reprogrammed, the fluid refilled, plus the labor and tow in less than a week of picking the vehicle up. Since it is an "as is" sale they won't reimburse or fix anything! It's clearly obvious that the owner of this particular car lot does not check their vehicles out, he does not go through every button on their vehicles to make sure that they operate and function correctly, could care less what happens to the vehicle once you sign your name, and their communication is HORRIBLE at best. At least the black guy (I apologize for not remembering your name) and Stephanie are extremely nice, knowledgeable, have great customer service, very pleasant, helpful, have great energy, and are really good people. Avoid this car lot if you can. If you must go there because you're really interested in a particular vehicle....please press EVERY single button in and on the vehicle to make sure that it works! Please inspect the vehicle with a flashlight even if it's day time to make sure nothing is glued or bonded together permanently! Please open every nook and cranny of the vehicle to make sure that it operates correctly! If you have to open the hood even check the oil because I wouldn't trust it! Please check everything to avoid a major headache later because they aren't going to do it. Warning. Bought a high performance vehicle here not too long ago, and thankfully the car didn't have any serious problems. Bought the car because I did some serious digging for a specific model car and finally came across the exact one I wanted here at m Motorsport. I noticed there was small blemishes on the car (with damage to the headlight, $1000 for replacement) and the wheels seriously needed an alignment. To my surprise, they would not let me test drive "high performance vehicles". My ignorant self decided to buy it after the salesman test drove it for me and everything seemed to be running well. (They would not budge the price after I noticed these issues by the way). After I signed the papers, I drove it for the first time and noticed something wrong with the my suspension and tires. I took it to get it inspected, and of course, the tires were running on threads because the wheels were heavily cambered inward from the previous owner (tire wear only on inside of tire, that's why I didn't notice it). Suspension was rusted and damaged so I replaced it with coilovers ($1000) and the tires were another $900. The oil was leaking out from the filter and I had asked multiple times if the car was inspected before I got it. Car fax was clean, although I later found out that the front left side fender was aftermarket and painted. All in all, be careful. Not all the cars here might be like mine, but I ended up $30k in debt over a car worth $25k. My car needed paint work, tires, suspension, oil change, fluid replacement, and dent/ headlight replacement. All at 15k miles. read more

I took it to a dealership and they told me the same thing, only way airbag light will go off if they take it to a dealership and we all know MMotorsport tried to do it themselves. I'm not a mechanic but I don't want to be getting rip off by liars like Mark and Papa. Airbag light came on because it wasn't registering the ABS light. I had another issue with the muffler bent hitting the swary bar. All I'm saying is stay away from this place..as first time buyer don't come here. Spend it somewhere else expect here.
