Nevert buy a car from these guys. I baught a car and they never transferred the title to my name. I paid them for the tax and license portion during my purchase, now I'm stuck with a car without registration. They ripped me off, as they kept the money I gave them to cover the tax and registration. They are no longer taking my calls, texts or emails, and every time I went to the dealer Sergio (the sales person that sold me the car) is not there or not available. My truck had to have its transmission replaced within the first month of purchasing. The owner paid HALF of expenses for a transmission they chose to place in. Come to find out it wasn't the right transmission for the car so we had to go somewhere reliable to get the transmission REDONE. To which the owner did not want to help pay. I'm now paying damn near $1200 a month for this truck in fees to fix up the issues they sold the car to me with just to avoid a repo. The sales people are nice , but even they know we were done wrong. The many times we went in person we also saw other angry owners with major issues on vehicles they just bought. My mechanic said the issues the vehicle came with have been there for a long time & it was clear to see. I recently bought a Kia Optima here about a month ago. A week in I told them the car was shaking and they told me to bring it and they would do the oil change and tell Kia to pick it up since it was a recall issue. They told me in the beginning that they would help me fix the door handle as the person who owned it before has reported that it got broken into. They kept saying they would make an appoint after they changed the door handle and never did. So I have to open the door from the inside. I told them I wanted to break the contract because the car had stopped on the freeway. They told me there was nothing they could do about it since I signed paper work. I test drive the car and it did not do this shit while driving it. I can say the people do have great customer service but the manger not a nice person. The car stopped again on the freeway and me and my husband called them and said since Kia has it they can't do anything about it. Then proceeded to tell my husband "I don't like the way your talking to me and I don't have to give you shit" Kia called me and told me the oil change was never done and the car has a broken axle, back breaks are fucked which is another issue they said they'd fix. Horrible experience...Bought a cute smart car from this place and Corey helped me out at first until there was a lot of miscommunication going on. When I bought the car, I told him what needed to be fixed with the car and he said they would take care of it. They kept my car for a whole day and a half and not a single thing was done, I got the car back the exact same way it was given to me when I had first bought it. That same day another customer had an issue with his car and he was telling me they were going to take care of his car and the same thing happened to where he got the car back with not a single thing done to it. And I even asked if I needed to take care of the dmv stuff to which Corey said they take care of it. I have tried to get in touch with someone for a week and a half and at first I was able to leave a voicemail; and now it's "temporarily unavailable" I don't know if they went out of business but no one has gotten back to me and my temporary license plate is already past its 90 days and I still have yet to receive my license plate, tags and registration. If I had to take care of it myself I would have done it when I bought the car. Very unprofessional. read more

BEWARE: I was in the market for a new car since my little Toyota Corolla was giving out on me and I read so many great reviews about Diamond motor cars and if you visit their Instagram page you will also be fooled because you see all the smiling customers, Anyways i decided to give them a shot because as previously stated you would think their customers were happy and satisfied when reading reviews and browsing their social media . I arrived to the dealership on 03/18/2021 I browsed the lot with the sales person and she was super friendly the whole staff puts on a great show while your browsing the lot they sweet talk you and make you believe their honest and trustworthy and honestly it's easy to fall victim and believe them . Immediately after you sign the paperwork and pay the down payment it's like you visited a whole different car dealership they stop smiling they barely even acknowledge your there it's crazy they stop the show or effort to even show any customer service skills which is crazy because at this point they have all the signatures they need and now your thinking wow did I get screwed over what happen to the nice and honest character of these dealership personals .They are not very upfront with the conditions of the cars they sell . They buy crappy cars from the public do the bare minimum to have them up and running for showing . Most of the cars I viewed had to be jumped started , were missing headlights and door handles just a mess kind of looks like a junk yard at first but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and test drove a 2015 Buick Regal and notice after the test drive there was smoke coming out the tail pipe so I opened the hood inspected it and found the oil was dirty the battery needed to be replaced and I had their mechanic run a diagnostic and he told me it had no codes and that he would replace the battery and do an oil change . I told them I didn't feel comfortable signing a sold as is form until knowing for-sure the car wasn't going to need any immediate repairs, the mechanic and the sales person then said no worries we'll give you a 30 day warranty to bring it in if any issues arise . I ended up trusting the mechanics diagnostic of the car and signed all the paperwork and took the car home . Two days later the check engine light turns on and all my engine cylinders are having misfires and my car is jerking while driving on the highway . I take it back to them the next day after having these issues and they supposedly fixed the issues and 20 minutes after leaving the lot my car starts jerking again and my dash lights are going crazy and I have to turn the car around and drive all the way back up to the dealership with hazard lights on . I end up going back and the mechanic once again is supposedly trying see we're he went wrong and running again another diagnostic keep in mind there was tons of people there with their cars they purchase from here with their paper plates and dealer permits so clearly they had just bought their vehicle and having to bring their cars back for repairs . I then see the owner Sergio and I verbalize to him that if I have to keep bringing my car back and having issues with it that I was going to report him to the better business bureau and make a Yelp and google review warning the public and then he started screaming and cursing at me he said he didn't give a f*ck and that I was f*cked because I signed a sold as is and he said get your car and get the hell of my lot I don't care what you do you already signed everything and then he continued to curse and yell and shoo me away he got super aggressive and defensive all in my face and mind you I'm in shock because this is the OWNER he threatened me he said " keeping f*cking with me I have all your information you better watch out " which is super unprofessional because he threatened to use the info from my auto loan application to retaliate against me if I made these reviews and honestly my sole purpose is to warn people to not allow their fake act of kindness make you vulnerable. I understand sometimes we are in such need of a car we'll go anywhere as long as they guarantee an approval,what's the point of a guaranteed approval if your car will stop working a few days laters . People work hard for their money and people are paying monthly to finance companies to get these cars out the mom and pop dealerships the least they can do is be honest and make sure they sell you a functional vehicle. Anyways the whole time this is happening and I'm being harassed and threatened he said if I did f*ck with him and do the reviews he would f*ck me up and mind you this is coming from Sergio the owner some people that were walking by called Long Beach Police Department and then two officers arrived to assist in making sure I left the car lot safely and that they turned my car back into me . I just got my second car from Diamond Motorcars. The previous one lasted about 9 years. I got that car in an emergency when I was in a serious accident and my car was totaled. I had to buy a new car quickly, without much money down. This time I again had an urgent need for a new car because that previous car finally had its run and died. I was caught without much cash. I got great service, quick and without hassle. I initiated contact online, talked briefly on the phone one time, texted the rest. Got to the car lot later hours on a Friday, looked at the car...which was very attractive and very clean...signed the papers, paid the down, and drove it away. Few days later I spoke with the financing company and that as well was a breeze. The car...a very nice SUV... has driven like a dream, from Simi Valley to Corona, and back and forth between home and work, the car has been great. What did I do that may have been different than some of these other reviewers on yelp? I paid $49 each for multiple Carfax reports on multiple cars that were advertised on the Diamond Motorcars site. I examined the photos very carefully...and btw Diamond Motorcars has tons of photos of each car. I could see that some cars were less attractive and more "as is." The Carfax reports ruled out two cars and showed that the cars I was interested in were clean, with no accidents and no major mechanical work done. You can easily do this because, again, all the info is on the Diamond Motorcars site. I also reviewed the car I eventually got with the insurance agent, who as well looked at the car via the Diamond Motorcars site. He agreed from the report I sent him, that it looked to be a good as-is, used car to help me out for the next year or two before I plan to buy a new car. If you go to the lot to see the cars first, take a day or more before buying and get the Carfax reports. I drive this car as what it is...a used car with more mileage and wear and tear than a brand, new car. I do not speed around or take it on heavy road trips because that is not what I would have done with my previous cars after so many years. This car will get me to Vegas, but not at 70 mph the whole way. No off-road adventures for this baby either. I go no more than 65/70 mph when in a rush. That is how I make my used cars last. This baby has already gotten his professional car wash and oil check, etc., which I do regularly. I recommend Diamond Motorcars Inc. and the employees highly. They are responsive and they are trying to run a fine business. Anyone who is not well treated will pushback. No one should be ill treated, regardless of any issues. read more

When I told them that this car is dangerous to drive they did not care for. Car is in my possession for 5 weeks and it has major issues. They will finance you a car with issues and won't make themselves responsible. When in the first place cars should never be sold in such conditions. That is why laws exist because of dealers like this. If they don't have it their way they will threaten you and/or use scare tactics. I came here for an estimate on a car and as I was waiting to be attended I heard a customer talking to the sales man about how he was able to help him get a car with a face social.I was concerned to hear this and although this was the first red flag for me, I stayed because regardless in was interested in putting $10000 down on a jeep they had for sale. So this guy starts showing me the jeeps he had and when I told him about the car I wanted he insisted that I was not able to pay sticker price. Being a woman I felt offended because it seemed he thought I lacked knowledge in sales rights.As I seemed less interested he began to act rude and right when I thought things couldn't get worse,he makes a comment about my legs! I purchased a BMW at Diamond Motorcars several months ago thinking that this business was a sincere and respectful business, but I soon was delivered a reality check. A couple of months after the purchase I experienced multiple problems with the vehicle. The gas pump issue was the first and their mechanic fixed it at the customer's expense. Then not even a month later the engine light came on again in which I notified the business and was told that they didn't have a mechanic to service the car. I was supposed to receive a phone call back letting me know that they would at least get another mechanic to look into it but that call never came. Therefore, I was left to find a mechanic to help me to get the car in good condition. I was told by the mechanic that the car couldn't have passed a smog check because there is a major mechanical problem with the car. I had the valve replaced and the car is about to get the major part done in November so that it can pass a smog check. This all has and will cost me about $4,000.00. I am paying for a car that shouldn't been on the lot until the car was in very good condition. The Owners are very dishonest persons who are focused on stealing people money and not providing great service to those who work hard and want to have a nice vehicle to take them to work and do some extracurricular activities for their mental peace. The owners have caused mental distress, distrust in business interactions with businesses, and thievery. It makes a person see how evil people are and have no conscious. It's very challenging in this society and no wise person doesn't want to waste their money or be swindle by a unethical company. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE! The car that I wanted was advertised as having a Bluetooth stereo, navigation and back up camera. When I test drove the car, none of that was working and Sergio said that it would all be taken care of. As we went thru the paperwork he hit on me several times telling me how attractive I am and asking me to get a drink with him. I repeatedly told him that I was not interested and that he was the same age as my mother. When I left that day I was told that my stereo had been ordered and would be installed within the week. Fast forward 4 weeks later and I still don't have a stereo. Apparently they had ordered the wrong one 3 different times. When the stereo finally came in, the mechanic, Jose, said it would be ready by the end of the day. I dropped off my car and ubered home only to get multiple texts from Jose telling me how attractive I was. When I went to pick up my car 6 hours later I'm given a spiel about how my stereo works and how they added a dash camera but my back up camera still needed to be replaced but they had to order a part so it would be another week. When I left that day my check engine light came on. I talked to Jose and Sergio and they both said it's fine and they will look at it when my back up camera arrives. A week later the stereo stopped working and the navigation never worked. I called Sergio and Jose and they both told me to be patient. I have had this car for 7 weeks now and still don't have a working stereo, back up camera or navigation. I had to take my car to Volkswagen and pay to have the heater core replaced. Diamond motors has also stopped answering my phone calls. I'm going to cut my losses and pay someone else to do the job that these unprofessional perverts should have done for free. My first review was back in 2019 when the car was first purchased and the car broke down not long after. Since then, we have faced endless issues with the vehicle and were just grateful to have a warranty we purchased on our own to help manage the costs. More recently, we have learned that the vehicle needs an entire engine replacement and that the transmission is likely to give out at any moment. Our warranty cannot cover the total costs because of all the other prior mechanical issues. What is more disturbing though, is the auto shop we are using for repairs now (specifically for Dodge vehicles) asked if we had ever done work on the engine before. Several of the bolts inside the engine are not factory manufactured and not factory tightened. Clearly, someone had manipulated the engine prior to purchase. Please, please, please reconsider your purchase from this auto shop. You are being manipulated and you will not be met with the humanity and dignity you deserve. We work hard to make payments on vehicles for ourselves, our commute, our family...our children (and their safety). Where you choose to put that money matters. Don't take a short cut here - you are giving your hard earned pay to a company and to an owner who will put you out for personal gain with no weight of their actions on their conscious. My hope is that this saves you not only your money, but also your time and mental health. This has been nothing short of a nightmare for myself and my family. read more

I don't write many reviews, but this place deserves high praise and I felt that this was a worthwhile piece to write. Sergio helped me get into a Honda accord that I needed to replace one that I had previously lost to an accident. Due to a few red marks on my credit I didn't expect to have any luck, but Sergio and his financiers found a way to help me finance the car. So now on my way to work again, and I also have an opportunity to improve my credit. Next was all the paper work. What could have been a long, drawn out process was facilitated quick with the help of Savanna, who knew that giving clear, concise information during the process could only help with efficiency. So not only was the process easy, but any gaps in information that I had on what I was signing was answered without delay. The real surprise? While Sergio looked on over the proceedings, he remarked that Savanna was still "in training". If his employees operate this way while training, it inspires confidence that they will hit the ground running. The car itself is awesome, but with two minor issues. The tires on the front were beyond wear, but before the contract was signed Sergio had already assured me that tires were ready to go on (I had to take the care that day for work the next), and that i could bring it back whenever to put them on. I also discovered a day later that the heater didn't work. I wasn't even worried. I just called Sergio to let him know, and he told me it would be taken care of when the tires went on. So I took the car down there today, got the tires and heater taken care of, and I am beyond satisfied. For the record, his guy in the service bay Glenn seemed to be a straight shooter and his work proved it. 13/10 will recommend to people. Very professional. Thanks guys! read more

I've had my car a little over a year! When I first got it the tire pressure light was on, they took it came back 10 mins later and it was back on....they told me it'll go off eventually! I go get tires done and find out 2 of my tire pressure gauges are shattered to bits! (60 bucks each to replace) Also after having my car only a week I went thru a car wash and it blew my bumper off!!! Come to find out all of the passenger side bumper clips were broken and missing a whole piece behind the wheel! I called when this happened, even sent photos via text to Victor and always heard I'll give you a call back and CRICKETS! Nothings! Months later I got a blowout on the fwy look in the car and low and behold NO SPARE or DUMMY tire! Last but not least the CarFax report they gave me reports NO ACCIDENTS but after taking it to a dealer they clearly showed me accident damage! VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! Still owe 6000+ on a car that I've had to put a lot of money into! read more
