The dealer offers a 48-hour return option for $150, with an additional $300 deductible if the vehicle is returned--$450 total. A 30-day warranty is included, covering engine and transmission issues but through the personal "DEALERS MECHANIC". Although my expectation is that the vehicle will perform reliably and not require that service due to the fact that i havent yet gained trust in the mechanic or know if he will perform in good faith based on previous Reviews. But thats just my opinion and I wont say anything Bad myself unless that moment comes my way & hoping no issues will occur from this transaction & agreements. i plan on taking Good quality care of the vehicle & maintaining it in healthy condition. So in my part there shouldn't be any problems. If all Goes well within these 30 days I will be changing my review to a 5 Star Because I appreciate the business & the service. I recently purchased a car from Petra auto sales 2010 g37 , but it has been plagued with problems since the beginning. I have owned the car for months, but for the first two months, it was practically undriveable due to numerous issues. One of the major problems has been excessive overheating, which has caused me a lot of stress and inconvenience.( See pics) Eric the owner claimed that his mechanic is certified and fixed my overheating issue only to find out he didn't change my thermostat or water pump, had to spend my own money on this fix because warranty only worked with his Mechanic, not sure where it stated that in the contact, if you want to buy a lemon with a high miles come here Because of these ongoing issues, I have had to spend a significant amount of money on repairs. This unexpected expense has made it difficult for me to keep up with the monthly payments. Despite my efforts to address the car's problems and stay on top of my financial obligations, the situation has become untenable. Recently owner decided to repo the car from me for 2 months late payment , decision was made without any prior communication or agreement, which has added to my frustration. Overall, this experience has been extremely challenging and disappointing. Going to work and all my personal items and car is gone Additionally, I brought my close friend to the same dealership, to purchase a similar 2012 g25 car, and he encountered the same issues I did. His car also had numerous problems, including a blown engine and a electricital issues similar to what I was experiencing, The owner attempted to fix these issues, but it took multiple attempts to get the car running properly. Despite the owner's efforts to address the problems, my friend's car only lasted two weeks before breaking down again multiple times and visiting thee dealerships "mechanic shop" The experience was so frustrating that my friend considered suing the owner. Ultimately, the owner did take immediate action to fix the issues, but the overall experience was highly unsatisfactory for both of us. This has led me to the conclusion that I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, given the numerous issues and the significant hassle we've both endured. Please go elsewhere, I've been to CarMax and never experienced an issue. read more

Nothing shady, I didn't feel I was being taken advantage of or anything like that. My credit isn't the best that's why I'm shopping at places like this. Ultimately when your buying a used car anything goes, it's a gamble. If your buying a car from these guys your credit probably isn't the best or else you would be shopping elsewhere. People that expect the world need to take their business elsewhere or get better credit so they don't need to buy a car from these small dealerships. STAY AWAY!!! & Check the VIN # on the CarFax report!!! I bought a car from them about 7 years ago. I had problems with the car immediately. It was a nightmare from day one. About a year ago, I went to trade the car in. When the dealership ran the car history, it came back as a salvaged title. I didn't understand how this could be, as I was shown a car fax report prior to purchase. Turns out, you ALWAYS need to check the VIN # on the report, and make sure that it matches up to the vehicle. Shady car dealership companies can print out car fax reports for a different car (Same year, make and model), then use that to represent a car you are looking to buy. the only way to know if this is happening, it to check the VIN # on the report and make sure that it matches your car. This was a very expensive lesson for me, but hopefully someone else can learn from this situation and not let it happen to you. BTW - to address Eric. No, this is not the first time I have complained, it's just the first time I logged in and thought to warn potential customers on yelp. In fact, at the time, I filed a complaint with the department of investigations that overseas dealerships. Based on everyone else's responses, it looks like you haven't changed much. And you don't deal with salvaged titles....??? Ok. I suppose my car title magically shifted to a salvaged title sometime after I bought it from you, but before I sold it. This dealer is not a honest dealer and the ownwe of this dealer does minor fixes just to b able to sell.he promised the car was in good shape and would not break down.the owner said he did major repairs. He showed me paper work of the repairs that he never gave. The motor gos damaged and i had to take it to a ford dealer ship and in the ford dealer ship told me that the injectors where put for a 8 cylinder truck and mine is a 6 cyl truck. I wastes more than 2thousand in repairs 1180 in the dealership.and a 800 in services and the restnin other small shops. Absolutely worse place ever to buy a vehicle. I JUST bought a 2005 Chevy Colorado Ls. Not even 10 days into owning it. The check engine light comes on, they overfilled the engine with a quart of oil, broken brake lights, and no cruise control when advertised. But by golly they made sure I signed that contract saying I couldn't return the car because I had nothing to worry about. These people are a sham. My Brother purchased a Nissan Sentra from Petra Auto Sales a Month ago. Dealer overall is fair has very decent cars for sell I agree. But to charge a Customer Late Fees when the Customer explained to him about receiving Social Security Disability only once a Month is really very unfair and just should not happen. I was always under the impression a Customer is given 45 days after making the first down payment to the first due date. Could be Petra Auto Sales does operate differently but if this is the case, the Customer should be advised ahead of time. Odometer Fraud!!! I bought a 2001 Honda Accord sedan from Petra Auto sale on June 9th, 2011. During the transactions, the dealer did not disclose the mileage discrepancy issue at all. I found out the mileage discrepancy almost one year later when I tried to resell the car. I went to the dealer and asked an explanation from them. I found out that they falsified my signature on mileage disclosure forms they claimed I signed and they lied to me about having sent these forms to Department of Motor Vehicles. DMV never received these forms and accordingly indicated on the certificate of title document "actual mileage" under odometer reading section. When being challenged, the dealer admitted that they rolled back the odometer for the odometer was broken. I consulted with several reliable mechanics and was told that replacing the old odometer would not change the reading on it. In the whole transaction, Petra Auto Sales illegally rolled back the odometer for about 100K miles, withheld odometer history and falsified my signature. I would take legal action against them and report the odometer fraud to The Crime Analysis Technician in Department of Motor Vehicles. read more

very helpful in getting us a car to take home. However the truck i took home was showing signs of bad maintenance starting with a big coolant leak within that same week and horrible traction, bad breaks and had a scary wheel lock when it lost traction. Unfortunately that resulted in a car accident when it was raining. i had called Petra to notify them of the accident and insurance ass well in which Eric told me that this was his 4th caller that very same day that reported a car accident. I found it odd that their policy is very strict to which my insurance had notified me that Petra was frequently calling them to see if i still have full coverage on my vehicle. i checked my credit report and found that they did pull a hard inquiry but never opened account. I do not know what they are playing at but i did found this extremely suspicious that my insurer had to tell me they would have a call from Petra every day just to make sure i had full coverage. i wouldn't recommend Petra to anyone. read more
