We went back and forth and agreed upon a price. They then asked my to drive my vehicle 40 minutes to their location two wrap up the sale. After I arrived, they changed their offer. I should have listened to my gut instinct prior to taking my time to bring the vehicle to them. I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere. Updating Review from 1 Star to 3, as I worked with Frank and James to arrive at an agreeable purchase amount, albeit less than what was agreed upon prior to coming here.

i had purchased my car through this dealership years ago and paid the extended warranty, however…read morethis dealership made it impossible to use it. you are better off not using it and going somewhere else. as for buying a car, they like to bait-and-switch customers, listing a price for their cars just to add on miscellaneous fees once you are signing the contract (things that come with the car by design. list that price). as for the extended warranty, i called because the battery cable, not the battery itself was not working properly and the cable is listed as an item under the warranty. when calling i explained to the receptionist the issue and what was covered and she reexplained the battery would not be covered. got it. i was also told there would be a diagnostic fee if the problem found was not listed under the warranty. they called me back and told me the problem determined was the battery itself, even though we had just bought it a year ago, and that i would have to pay a hefty $195 fee in full to get my car back. i brought my dad with me so he can talk to them and see if the battery was actually the issue, luckily he has worked on cars and knew what he was talking about when i originally was looking at the car when purchasing years ago the trunk overhead light wasn't working. i was told that they would fix the light since they they didn't realize they put it on the lot without it working. today during the inspection they determined why it wasn't working. so when the receptionist was explaining that the battery was the problem and i would have to pay the fee i asked if that would waive the fee since they were checking on that too. instead of simply explaining, she answered combatively "like i said" and to my dad, "like i told your daughter" in a dismissive tone. i was trying to understand the charges. she was smiling as she walked away knowing she was being difficult. when she showed my dad the video of the supposed battery not working, my dad was showing her it was the cable itself. she kept being combative and explaining what a car battery is as if he was dumb. at this point it is not your job to argue, you should be getting the mechanic. my dad talked to the mechanic and physically showed him the cable and he acknowledged he was right. that was a $195 random charge i would have had to pay, or $500 if i was dumb enough to buy a new battery. the receptionist, needing to be right came out to prove her point, "did you show him it's the battery" to the technician. girl. she also kept insisting they were nice enough to fix the trunk light. the light was defective when sold to me, completing a promised repair is NOT an extra courtesy. we also talked to other customers outside, all with similar stories of being baited-and-switched and problems getting their cars repaired. this place does not care about their customers, definitely not their customer service or even knowing the parts of the car. come with someone that is knowledgable so you don't get scammed. i don't even think it's intentional, they just don't know what they are doing. and to miss girl: you are not a mechanic, you are a receptionist, one with a lack in customer-service, so i don't know why you feel the need to argue. the people coming in are needing assistance; customers are missing work and paying large amounts of money that most of us do not have. your job is not to make them feel belittled or worse during a tough time. a little empathy goes a long way and working in the service industry, it is part of your job whether you like it or not. the passive aggressive attitude is not needed. as someone who also works in the service industry i understand that people can be difficult but don't take that out on everyone else. i sincerely hope you find another job.

Richard and his team are awesome! Found a 2017 ford transit 250 at a good price and what sold it…read morewas that they provided the car fax online so I was able to see service history and determine it was a well taken care of vehicle! Super important for my small business. Richard was committed to helping me get approved for financing even though my credit was not good (ex friend got her car repossessed and it was under my name) I was able to drive away with the car after 5/6 long trying hours. One thing I will say: when I took the car for a test drive I noticed a "side door open" dash sign on and i didn't think much of it. However when it was time to drive off the side door sign was still going off and wouldn't turn off even though I slammed and gently shut the door. This ended up causing the battery to die overnight. I had to jumpstart the car and replace the battery myself. I was so worried I was sold a lemon but it was on me for not pointing out the warning sign. So let this be a sign to not ignore ANY dashboard light or any concern from a car! Richard had offered to fix any problem that occurred within 30 days but of course it was Memorial Day weekend and Richard responded on Tuesday. I didn't have time to wait for his response so I had to figure out the problem and attempt to fix myself as I had work on Tuesday. FYI: The "side door open" is a common issue in ford transits, I discovered. It's due to a sensitive door sensor and there's an easy diy fix to it that I had to YouTube about. Had the car about 2 months and no other issues have come up.

After lots of research, we found Bill & Angela at Car Auto Resources. And so happy we did!! They are very pleasant, straight forward and honest people. Right away, the vibes were welcoming and positive. Not overwhelming or pushy - like your other dealerships. They're patient and there for any questions or concerns you may have. After a test drive and sharing info about the car our son was interested in, Bill & Angela were clear that there was no pressure. We decided we wanted to proceed with the sale. Again, there was no stress. Even while running the numbers. Angela was straight forward on the expectations of the lien holder and gave us an honest response of our odds of getting approved. We were able to get approved with my husband as co-buyer. A great start for our son's journey to build credit. We took delivery on Saturday and our son drove off a very happy happy customer! And we drove off as very happy parents knowing our son is in a safe and reliable vehicle! If you had any doubts on if you should go to Calif Auto Resources - doubt no more! Just go!! You are in good hands with Bill & Angela! You won't regret it! They're so good - in fact, a few of my co-workers will be going to them as well. Thanks again Bill & Angela!!
