So I'm a ninnycompoop and locked my friend out of her own bathroom... thank heavens for Tarik! He showed up within 10-15 minutes around noon on a Saturday. He wore a face mask and removed his shoes at the door. Super friendly and definitely knew what he was doing. Used Yelp RAQ to inquire about availability and pricing to fix a door knob that was proving to be a real SOB with each jiggling of its bits. AKG was the first to respond and the cheapest of the two to respond ($95 to fix vs the other guy that was $40 just to come out and another $60-$120 to fix it. A guy came out (the day before Xmas Eve, by the way) within an hourish of my call, between 4-5pm. He was very polite (left his shoes outside without even asking first if he should) and got to work pronto. It took him about 20 minutes and showed me his craftsmanship and where the other doohikkies were bent out of shape. He only charged me $75, which was a bonus. Found this place due to it being close to my new office - how convenient because they are great! Cute little shop, there was no wait time, Daniel was able to help me right away. He was super friendly and knocked out making 15 copies of a general mechanical office key for me in less than 10 minutes. Normal prices for that ($4 each). The only thing I wish they had was a bigger selection of the fun special keys to choose from versus a very small rack. Throw some Texas teams in there! I also ended up getting an automatic clicker for my car for only $50! I had been putting it off due to getting $200-300 quotes in the past. I was surprised at how low the price was along with that also only taking 10 minutes! He even stated he would be able to come to our office to check out the locks if we have any issues with any of the keys!
