We had slowly been losing keys for our 2010 Honda CRV, we had bought two keys awhile ago, But put off getting them programmed and cut. Dealers really charge so much. I called Cobra and they were very helpful And we went in the next day. We thought it would take a couple of hours or something. No, about 1/2 hour. Two keys cut, programmed confirmed they worked as needed; No big deal! I wish I had got the guys name. Very pleasant and efficient, and replaced a battery that was dead. Only $160 and it was done. Called an talked to someone to day asking if they could program my FOB for my Kia Telluride. He seemed disappointed I had my own extra FOB already and I told him I matched the number inside my current working FOB models and spec numbers to the one I got on eBay brand new. He said Pass or fail it was 195.00 to try and program the FOB.... ( Wow the dealer is 150.00 ) a bit over priced.. I asked can you tell from the one I bought if it would work, since he said my car shows 3 different part numbers by vin number... He seemed to not answer this question... I got the point 150.00 pass or fail, I suggest if that's save yourself 50.00 and head to the a dealer. Update to feedback, when you say pass or fail you are going to charge me 195.00 to try and program the key I take that as I am being charged if it works or not, and that's what you said. I also asked you to avoid being charged, if you could look up the smart Key model / sticker ID with the info on it to see if it would work and so I wouldn't be charged and you seemed to avoid info on that topic. Again I went by what you said and the fact you were charging more than the dealer and that I bought the smart key from another source. read more

We had a great experience with Cobra. After contacting several local locksmiths in the Austin area via traditional means (not Yelp), we got zero responses. I used Yelp to find and contact Cobra, and they responded almost immediately. We were able to get them out to help at a time that worked perfectly, and they were able to solve our problem at a very fair price. We had also been told by another locksmith that our problem was not solvable. We had a painting accident and got paint inside our lock, and they key no longer worked. He was able to repair the lock and let us keep our current key in less than 20 minutes. He also repaired another issue we hadn't noticed and removed/replaced our smart lock that is on the same door.
