Initially after he gave me a quote, I thought it was expensive and shopped around. but I quickly learned that no one else could do it any cheaper or was wven willing to take this unique job. additionally, he was willing to come out very promptly, whereas another local locksmith I communicated with was hard to get a hold of and slow to respond. Needless to say, I realized Mister Key's quote was fair and I hired them! John found hardware to fit with the existing faceplates and installed it for us quickly! Now we have two elegant skeleton keys and an antique cabinet that locks, with no appearance of any updates or changes. So of course, being a long time client of Mr ReKey, I called them for assistance. They insisted I provide a credit card number or they couldn't (and wouldn't) help me. I explained that all of that was inside the house but noted that they have me on file - which he confirmed. So in my hour of desperation they failed me. Remember, almost twenty years and they have my address and telephone number on file ... okay then, can you please recommend another company that might be able to help me. NOPE, "we don't do that". Of course I turned to the internet and found an amazing locally owned company who actually still offers real and decent customer service. I encourage you to do the same.
