This is a review that is long overdue. However, still well earned and deserved! Back in 2015 My wife found this jewel and purchased a Lexus CT200H. From start to beginning, the whole process working with Gary, Justin and Kim - was the best experience I have ever had. I speak from experience as a seller and buyer. Not only did the price put many other dealers to shame. Gary and his team, also made me feel very comfortable to work with. Albeit, the vehicles sold are used. However, they all still had the factory warranty! If that wasn't good enough for you, they did offer extended warranty as well! Some people are a little sketched out about smaller dealerships but this dealer is 110% percent customer service, to family oriented from the moment you walk in; even if you do or don't purchase a car! After having a fantastic experience buying our last car six years ago, we went back, even with all of the enticing online dealerships clamoring for my business (or Carmax where you just have to get lucky with the right salesperson). This time we met up with Armando, who was nothing short of amazing. Talk about knowledgeable... I wanted a verrrry specific car with a very specific feature (actually, I wanted a car that didn't have a specific feature). It would have been difficult or impossible for me to identify which specific vehicle had or didn't have said feature -- other than having a guy like Armando there scouting out which ones were the ones I should even be considering. Looking online was great, and I found a couple of similar vehicles for a slightly lower price, but I would have to buy a car, sight unseen, and just hope that the feature was missing (nobody on the other end of an internet purchase with any of the big companies would have been able to answer this question). He was of course also very friendly and patient as we test drove (and re-test-drove) a number of cars (they let you take the cars out by yourself, without a chaperone, which is very cool) -- and he stayed late with us two nights in a row for this. Upon purchase, a small defect in the leather was fixed to my 100% satisfaction, and I'm now behind the wheel of what is for me a (realistic) dream car. I'd say that if you purchase with these guys, your possibility for buyer's remorse will hover around zero. read more

I don't write many reviews, but I feel I need to give these guys proper credit. This is the second time I've purchased a car on my own. My last vehicle was bought from Maxwell Ford and it was a *horrible* experience. Those guys reminded me of the car dealer stereotype: lots of pressure, dishonesty, and a general smarmy attitude that made me uneasy. I intend to buy a car by the end of this year since my old one is simply not worth repairing at this point. I don't particularly enjoy the car buying experience and came across Austin eAutos on Yelp. I went to Austin eAutos to test drive two vehicles that I'd short listed. The lady whom I spoke to had asked me whether I was pre-approved for a loan. I replied that I'd be paying for it in cash, she seemed surprised and asked me if my family was helping to pay for it. (What family? I was there alone and I wouldn't look at cars that I couldn't afford myself.) Weird but I ignored it. After test driving the cars, she told me that their printer was down and she'd e-mail me the numbers. She also asked me at what time she could call me on Monday. I haven't got the e-mail with the numbers nor have I heard from her since test driving the cars on Saturday. Admittedly, I don't like pushiness from salespeople but this was the opposite - I do expect to receive an e-mail/phone call after being asked what time is convenient, being told that I would receive the numbers by e-mail since the printer is down. It's easy to be skeptical about buying a pre-owned car from a dealer. There are more bad stories out there than good, and there's a stigma in the industry. Ours is a good one, and I believe these folks are light years ahead in their understanding of customer service, transparency and, most importantly, quality of product. I found this dealership while looking for a BMW i3. They had one that interested me (and was local), so I called. I spoke first with Armando, then with Gary. Both were super friendly and helpful, and I learned they were already in the process of selling that car. But they had a superior one on its way in. I went out the next morning to look at some exemplars, with the intention of putting down a deposit if I liked the model. Gary and Armando both greeted me the next morning. The dealership is exceptionally clean and very nice, even kid-friendly. The entire team was accommodating and eager to answer any questions I had. After test-driving one of their i3s, I decided to buy. Their prices were very fair for the condition, mileage, and options on the vehicle, and I didn't even try to haggle (don't think it would've mattered anyway). Justin, one of the owners, got involved with the transaction, and was very patient, responsive, and helpful throughout the whole process. They offered a VERY fair trade-in value for my truck, and helped me get the deal across the finish-line without ANY pressure or pushiness. In fact, I wanted the vehicle inspected by a BMW dealership as a condition to my purchase, and they not only arranged the inspection, but took the car to BMW and picked it up for me. The BMW inspector told me it was one of the cleanest he'd seen. I took my wife and daughter to get the car, and they were wonderful to my whole family. I've never bought a pre-owned car, so I don't have much to compare to, but I have bought new cars before, and I can tell you, the experience here at Austin eAutos was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I had been searching for a preowned Nissan Leaf for about 2 months. Surprisingly few show up in Austin, but Carvana and Austin eAutos seem to maintain a fairly regular inventory (though it sounds like recently many Leafs have been auctioned and sent overseas so they are having trouble getting them!). I have a friend who bought one from Carvana and I was hoping that the Leaf I wanted was going to show up on their site so I could try it out too...but Austin eAutos got what I wanted first (color, year and trim). I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it because I had a negative image of the quintessential "used car dealer", but I decided to at least see what I'd get offered for my trade-in and go from there. While their website wasn't quite as fancy as Carvana, I can't say enough about the customer service I got from Denise from the moment I first put in a request for a trade-in quote to the moment I walked out the door with my Leaf one day later (and only because I couldn't get there that same day). Before I even got there I had negotiated what I thought was a very fair deal just via email communication. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and not at all in a skeezy-commission-seeking kind of way. I spent a good deal of time geeking out with Brian who knew a ton about Leafs and was able to learn so much about my electric car that I otherwise wouldn't have known. Just looking around their beautiful new lot, you can tell they take great pride in the quality of their pre-owned cars. At first I was skeptical about Austin eAutos because their dealership is very small, deals mostly in "internet sales" and is a little off the beaten path in Round Rock. However, plenty of people get screwed at big name dealerships and this place had decent reviews and a car I wanted---so why not look? Overall the experience was GREAT. They were very accommodating with the test drive, stayed open late (all the way up to 7), and treated me well. There was no fuss about my service dog being in their office or joining me on the test drive--in fact, they even gave him a bowl of cold water which was very cool of them (treating him well is an easy way to get brownie points from me). I can be a pretty forward person and sometimes say whats on my mind with zero filter, so I think that Kim (the rep I worked with) was a little unnerved by that because she seemed slightly rough around the edges. But, hey, I'm not always the easiest person to meet sometimes! We were able to work together with the owner of the car to come to what I feel is a very fair price. After a thorough inspection (see review for Auto P I) they agreed to fix my taillight and CV Boots without charge and did so immediately. The car looked good, smelled good, and drove beautifully! I purchased the car on a Friday and they had my plates ready by Monday. I worked with Justin for the majority of my sale and repairs and he was very, very easy to get a hold of and speak to. Justin is also very prompt with paperwork and communicating with my bank/credit union. Overall, this is a GREAT dealership, especially for females if you don't want to feel bullied, pressured, or taken advantage of just because you have a pair of tits. I was looking for a new to me vehicle and had a strict budget. I had my financing in place (and a great rate) with my credit union that was out of state. I knew that the vehicle I was looking for in my price range was going to be difficult to find. I did a lot of research and went to several dealerships that basically told me that I wasn't going to find what I wanted, I needed to use their financing because out of state financing was a huge pain and so forth. I was starting to think I was never going to find anything. Then I stumbled across Austin eAutos. The vehicle I found was already priced under NADA and was in pristine condition. It was also over my budget. I read on their site that no question was out of bounds, so I spoke with Gary, and told him my parameters. He was confident that we could work something out. I was still skeptical. I told my friend with me who used to work for a dealership and she agreed, this seems too good to be true, especially for a smaller dealership. So she went with me to meet Gary and test drive the vehicle. We were both blown away. Gary was able to get me the exact price I wanted and there was no pressure to buy, no hassle about my financing, and was upfront and honest about some very minor things on the car as well as all the work that had been done to it. He printed all the info for me without me even having to ask! The carfax was listed right on the website, so I knew ahead of time it was good to go! I am an avid car lover! Having purchased many cars over the years I have dealt with my fair share of slimy dealerships and dealers who only cared about making a sale or did not know the product they were selling. In looking for my dream car I stumbled upon this Porsche at Austin e autos on AutoTrader. From my very first Contact through email until I drove it off their lot my experience was nothing short of amazing! My negotiations for the vehicle took place all via email. Their correspondence was immediate, quick, and precise. After agreeing upon the terms, travel Arrangements were made for me to fly to Austin to pick up the vehicle contingent upon inspection. Not only did they offer to pick me up at the airport, but they also offered to help me with Airline expenses. I did not utilize this, but the offer was nice. Most of my correspondence took place via email or text. I worked mainly with Kim. Even on her off days she was available. I fear I bugged her a little too much, but it was a large purchase and because I was from out-of-state I wanted to make sure I was really doing my research. I arrived for inspection of the vehicle to find the car exactly as described! From The Moment I Saw the vehicle I knew that it was described accurately on the website. They handed me the keys without any pressure, and let me take the vehicle by myself for a drive. When I return, I had some questions and they patiently and politely answered my questions without trying to pressure me to purchase the vehicle. I should say that as soon as they knew I was flying down to inspect the vehicle, they held it for me without any deposit until I could inspect it. I loved the car! I decided to purchase it. But I could not pick it up or take it home for a week. The purchase transaction was quick painless and easy. They did not try to sell me aftermarket items or warranty items like other dealers. They did exactly as I wished. Negotiations and the financing and paperwork were the most easy I have ever experienced. They held the car for me for a week in their covered garage and the tank was full of gas when I came to pick it up. The car was ready for me to drive off. They paid for me to take Uber from a hotel near the Austin Airport to get to their dealership that morning. I picked up my car and drove it without any problem 1500 miles back to Southern California! They were even in contact with me during my trip and excited to hear when I made it home safely. There was DMV paperwork to be filled out and some various items to take care of when I got to Southern California. Kim was in contact with me and arranging all of this. I would also like to give a shout out to Justin and Gary who helped facilitate my purchase as well. They are great guys. I do not think any of them work on commission as it was obvious that any one of them were available to help me. I cannot rate this dealership highly enough! I started researching what I wanted for my next car about six weeks ago. I'm a software engineer, so I don't do anything the easy way. This really translates to driving my wife nuts as I ponder over and over every aspect of both autos and dealerships for weeks, which is what I did in this case. I was looking for a very specific used car - an Infiniti G37 Coupe - 2010 to 2012. I found several sedans but only two coupes. One was at Austin eAutos. The other at a major dealership. I had never purchased a used car other than from a big name dealership and in most cases, "Certified" on top of that. I admit I was a little hesitant in seeing that all the reviews here on Austin eAutos were positive. Having been the social media business before, I've seen about every trick in the book for filling your page with stellar reviews. At the same time, I know many tricks for tracking down whether a reviewer appears to be legit or not. After close scrutiny, I felt satisfied that the reviews were legit. I visited Austin eAutos on a Saturday around 9am two weeks ago. I walked in and was greeted by Gary who is one of the owners. "How can I help you today?". I responded "I got the impression online that this is the place to go if you absolutely hate buying cars." I got quite a laugh at that, and I think Gary immediately understood where I was coming from in that I usually dislike the whole buying and haggling experience. Gary had several G37's and a G25 in stock. I didn't immediately say which one I was interested in so I could use this opportunity to drive a few to help make up my mind. Gary took a copy of my license and handed me the keys to a couple of them. I am used to the test drive being just part of the sales "experience", with the salesman sitting in the passenger seat and either making me nervous or hard selling me the whole drive. Not the case here. I was free to drive and evaluate each car alone. I drove the G25 sedan which was the "prudent" model. Then I drove the G37 Coupe which was the one I really wanted. At 47, I decided to go with the vehicle I really wanted this time :) Gary answered several of my questions, but if I wasn't asking a specific question, he pretty much just stood at the ready ... that means no ongoing sales pitch at all. I came in with a pre-certified loan, so the closing process was uneventful. I was on the fence about whether I wanted to trade in my 2004 BMW 325CI or to sell it myself to eek out a little more money for it. I let Gary inspect the car and make an offer which ended up being within the range it took for me to make the trade. I was willing to take less than I could getting selling it myself (not a lot less) in order to avoid the hassle of everyone and their brother coming to my house to "test drive" the car. I'd also like to mention Kim (hope that is spelled correctly) who actually closes the deal, handles financing, etc. In similar fashion to Gary, she made the experience painless and pleasant. I had read here that there would be no heavy up-selling and such, and again this proved to be accurate. There wasn't a list of a dozen other "items" presented to be tacked onto the loan like I had seen many times before at other dealerships. A few days after purchasing the car, there was one standard maintenance item that I couldn't determine whether the previous owner had completed within a certain mileage or not. I emailed Gary and asked if he could find out for me. I just wanted to get the mileage when it was completed if possible. If that couldn't be determined, I fully expected I would just have the item completed myself. Instead, Gary asked me to just bring in the car and he would complete the item himself, no charge, so we could be sure. Try that at any other dealership --- I bet your results "will vary". In closing, I hope the next car that anyone in my family purchases will be from Austin eAutos. I can't give a stronger recommendation than that. I really enjoyed purchasing a car from Austin e Autos. I was anxious about haggling and feeling like I was being taken advantage of but that was definitely not what I experienced here. There was no pressure at all to purchase a car or look at other cars on the lot (I came in knowing what I wanted). The staff are very friendly and very casual which was shocking compared to other dealerships. Two things I didn't know and couldn't find on reviews is credit card usage and haggling. They allow you to put a maximum of $2,000 on a credit card! They also do not haggle on cost. I was told that the way their business model is set up is they are a one price store. This was super helpful for an anxious car-buyer like myself. Overall, a really friendly and easy purchase experience. Wow! What a perfect experience I had purchasing my fantastic new car from Austin eAutos. Firstly the showroom - with all the cars garaged - was immaculate and the cars all looked new. Secondly, the attitude of the staff is different from many dealerships - they operate as a real team rather than trying to stab each other in the back as so often happens. This is great for the customer because it makes the whole process flow better. I worked with Meredith, Armondo and Dave. Finally the Rules have changed: "Rules? Where we're going we don't need Rules." Everything about Austin eAutos was refreshing - I was able to test drive the car on my own. My trade-in was valued at 25% higher than at a big competitor. The deal on my car was great too, and was freshly detailed, inspected, with a full tank of gas! Financing was a breeze - even though I had forgotten I had turned off my credit reports a year ago so my credit rating came back as Zero, Dave still pushed me through and was happy for me to drive my car off the lot and fix the rating later - how often does that happen? They have a small set up up north, which does not show up on your car's GPS but its there ;) They deal in luxury cars mostly and care about your cars [well eventually its yours], so they park them indoors. I still remember the first day when I walked in, say like a month and a half ago and I felt very welcoming! I was out on a spree to buy my first car, I was very excited but scared at the same time. I really appreciate how Gary tackled my inquisitive yet stupid questions and answered them all. Like really, I have been unreasonable and have asked for a discount of $6000 ;) but he never lost his mind, he treated me well and explained its a small business and they are into making your car buying experience as exciting and haggle free as they can. Believe me, they are committed to just that. I have been to various dealers, but the car collection that Austin eAutos has, is not comparable. They seem to take extra ordinary measures to pick the best cars in the market so that naive people like us can get them at a really good price. The cars are at least $3000 cheaper compared to the same spec car at another dealer. Buying experience: Gary went to extraordinary measures to give me a take-it or leave-it deal. Yes you have a scope of negotiation, all you got to do is ask! Brian is an amazing person too, he explained all the details in the car when I was getting it delivered. He literally ran through the manual when he didn't know about something which I really appreciate as he didn't give any B/S. Brian made sure I was happy before I left their lot :) Kim does all the paper work, so she is the one involved in making the car legally yours. You guys rock! Kudos and keep up the excellent work. Well dear reader, I decided to take my own advice and purchase the BMW i3 from Austin eAutos! My experience with the purchase & trade-in through the team at Austin eAutos was flawless. They gave me a great trade-in value for my Ford F-250, and a sales price on the BMW that I felt was very fair. They left room for negotiation, and were appropriately flexible on the final deal. Having said that, these folks continued to perform above and beyond after the deal was done. They handled their financing obligations promptly, and did not apply pressure on me to purchase supplemental warranties and other high-profit products dealers will often push you toward during the sales process. They offered the products, I declined, end of story. Everyone I came in contact with during my experience was friendly and genuine, from my salesperson Denise to her teammates, to the finance manager to the ownership...everyone came out, checked in, thanked me and made me feel like a valued customer. At my request, they obtained a new extra key for me from the local BMW dealership, at a not-insignificant cost I'm sure. Awesome. For the record, I am not a pushover reviewer...read my stuff. I rely on reviews, so I write them honestly when I feel compelled to share an experience. I am just as likely to blast you for shortcomings. Bottom line is that my experience with this company was simply outstanding. I recommend them strongly, and will purchase from them again. read more
