Nick initially refused, mentioning customers are never satisfied with them and neither are they. I paid for them to put it in after the warning, and I saw what they meant. It didn't work with steering wheel controls, sounded awful, etc. I hated it on day one of install and scheduled my next visit that day. ---------------- STINGER HEAD UNITS ---------------- TCAS only sells and installs what they put in their own vehicles, and I understand why. This Stinger head unit has my 2016 4Runner feeling more like a 2026. Everything works and integrates well, and the sound quality is incredible. ---------------- COST ---------------- $100/hr. Don't let this scare you. Whenever I stopped in for surprise visits over the days they had my 4Runner, there were almost always two or all three working on it at the same time. ---------------- WORK ETHIC ---------------- Find a chair in their shop. I triple dog dare you. When these guys are on the task, they're working and working hard. ---------------- WORK WARRANTY ---------------- Unfortunately for me, the dash cam rear view mirror main unit and one camera were faulty. The manufacturer sent me a replacement and TCAS worked 5 hours at no cost to me on a Saturday to get me fixed up.

We have yet to go to them for auto needs, but we will be their customers for that in the future! I spoke to the owner of the establishment and with his knowledge on speakers, amps, and whatever was needed, I decided to make an appointment with him. At my appointment, from the outside of the shop, it looks like a hole in the wall shop, but when you step foot inside, it was like the Taj Mahal!! The lobby and what was displayed was pretty awesome, and very organized. Sohail gave me a quote that sounded very reasonable to install the speakers to my vehicle, but I had just recently purchased another vehicle that needed a dash cam installed. Instead of getting speakers for the vehicle I originally wanted done, I got the installation for my dash cam instead, and they were pretty professional and on point on how they did the installation. Very clean and very impressive. I've been in many car stereo shops before, but never like this just for the fact that the owner and his brother know what they're talking about and what's good.. no, GREAT for your vehicle! Sohail and Faisal - the best in Austin for sure. And if anyone is reading this, COME TO PRO CAR AUDIO. The word "PRO" is there for a reason!

I love how dark it looks from the outside while remaining incredibly clear to see out of from the inside. We went with 5% on the rear windows, 30% on the front driver and passenger windows, and 70% on the windshield with a brow. The installation is flawless. The team was fantastic to work with and they provided me with a quote to come back later for the panoramic moonroof, and even took the time to write up quotes for removing and re-tinting my 2023 Tundra, plus a quote for my daughter's vehicle. I also noticed they carry a great selection of other aftermarket parts, like dash cams and automated running boards. If you are looking for high-quality tint and a team that provides excellent service, I highly recommend them! They are very professional and not pushy at all with their sales. One keen factor I picked up on is how fast their quotes are with automation. They able to send to you to review and approve. They do offer military discount upon request and proper ID.

This guy that he sent had to come back because break line and components came off next day while driving. I have pics and texts to prove. My GM 6.2 V8 come to find out common problem for that motor lifters went out so I went to him for the engine replacement. His price quoted was pretty good so I gave him a shot. My car was not even drivable this whole time (we had to wait on engine and things for months) yet I get a call the day he test drives it for the first time and he tells me I need new steering column. The car did not go in for steering issues. It was completely fine. He blames it on wear and tire from my lift and big tires. I call the people who did my lift and I called covert Cadillac certified mechanics and gave the history of car and lift and all and they called BS. My fault for not driving to Frank's place to see for myself. So I pick it up after engine replacement and steering column replacement. I get not but a mile down road from his shop and no acceleration and engine is just revving up loud . I coast off the road to luckily a gas station right there. What looks like oil and grease is splattered all over undercarriage and side and back windows. I have pics of all this. Transmission line came off. I won't give any more specific on this because I'm in process of filing the lawsuit and taking him to court. So He has a guy come meet me, I took video of his mechanics actions and what he did and Frank telling him on the phone I'm good to go, needless to say he screwed up. I get home and next day the car does it again right as I drive out of my home. I call Frank to get it towed back to his shop which is about 45 min to an hour from Lakeway. Frank gets car back, now he tells me I need new transmission. After transmission I go back to car to pickup and I go to open my door and there was mechanic grease all over headliner and seats, spilled oil on my rubber mats, bird shit all over the outside and dust and pollen caked the interior. He left windows cracked. I took pics of everything as proof. He decides to offer me a detail, so he sends me down the road. He paid for it yet I waited 3 hours. What I'm paid for my time in work you could say was a bigger loss. The fact alone my car was in that condition when he called to tell me it was ready is reason alone you shouldn't use him. I've included pics with this post. I could go on with several other smaller things I asked him to do while he had my car for engine replacement and transmission repair that I needed done. He never fixed them. I again have proof where he acknowledges he forgot so now I have to reschedule to have him finish the job. I also recorded most of our phone conversations that prove he apologizes for messing up. It came to the point where I was recording the convos because prior to me doing that it was just word salad on his part and I knew it this point I needed to document for the court. You would be amazed how many texts I have where I have had to constantly follow up and check on him after he would give me a supposed timeline or update with a promise he would keep me updated. I'm convinced all these reviews on here that are high stars aren't legit whatsoever. I have meticulously documented everything with pics, texts and phone conversations. If you're smart and reading this don't give him your business no matter how well quoted he may be . He may try to defend himself with a reply like some others he's done to on here. I've got it all though m, the truth. I was always extremely nice in all my texts to him, I was at the mercy of his screw ups and didn't want to be a jerk. No matter what when your rude or a jerk you run the risk to be even more screwed over so I chose to take high road and he knows it. I've verified and shown all my proof to several different master General Motors Master technicians and they all came back with resounding response that Frank was at fault. So now it will be in the courts hands and I will update this once it's over. For anyone that would like to know more you can contact me. I've got all you would need to run as fast as you can from this mechanic. I've even documented some new mechanics that showed me what things he did that they couldn't believe from when he did the engine replacement. His shop spliced so many wires and I took video the moment the mechanics found these issues and they talk on camera about it. I've asked Frank over the last several weeks and really last 6 months to send me an itemized list of repairs like a receipt. His reply was he texted me the cost every time he had to charge me for something. Last thing, he never once showed up on time for any of the jobs that he did. I have proof of his reasons for being late and apologies for every one of them. What kind of professional does that. All the more reason to believe these reviews are fake

Finally, after an extensive search, I found a top-quality, reliable, and friendly service that exceeded my expectations in Austin, Texas. If you're looking to enhance your car, you've come to the right place! When I first visited DealerSource, I had a list of upgrades that I wanted for my car. Thankfully, they offered me an estimate with a breakdown of the costs, including labor. Additionally, they presented various options and worked with me to create a personalized plan. After careful consideration, I decided to get my two front windows tinted, my windshield tinted at 70%, my visors' eyebrow tinted at 5% to match my vehicle's radar line, my sunroof tinted at 5%, and a tow hitch and tow hitch receiver installed. They were pleasantly accommodating and were able to schedule the service appointment at my convenience. However, upon inspection, I noticed that my windshield and sunroof were not tinted. Auto Enhancements When, I purchased my 2022 vehicle the sale man at (Garlyn Shelton-Temple) suggested Auto Enhancements to upgrade from cloth to the Katzkin upholstery seats. I am a small business owner, I needed material that would last with my day to day life. Day one, I was handled with the TOP Notch Service. They sent out a Sales representative she drove from Pflugerville, Tx to Belton, Tx with swatches sample she offered color choices, threading color (5 stars) I was thrilled with the outcome. 5/2026 I recently noticed 2 little areas (size of a dime) on my drivers seat that was wearing. I gave them a call they asked for some info to get me verified. Next day they called me to set up a time to have FULL cushion REPLACED No charge to me. Please give them a try if you're looking for exceptional product and service. I will be a returning customer moving forward. I recommend to anyone looking for cloth vs Katzkin for your new vehicle or current vehicle. These people installed a new radio unit with nav. After 2 days I got my car back because they kept saying a part was missing. I got my car back still not working, they came out to my work to finish the job and at the end. I lost hand free calling. ALL THEY WILL SAY is its a limitation of my phone, be it that my phone has worked hands free in a Buick, Chrylser and many hands calling with blue tooth ear piece to receive/send calls through. But its a limitation of my phone even though many many devices work fine. They are unwilling to fix the issue and just kept saying it is my phone and not the device. The unit they CHOICE not my to put in my car does not work well with my car, it lost many buttons on the steering wheel and they said it was a limitation of the Chrylser car not the unit again. This is there story, they have their unit they want and they do not care if it is completely compatible with the car. Just say its not the unit but your car/phone issue. Watch out for their customer service because it is horrid. read more

When we bought our car it had cloth seats. We loved everything about it except it did not have seat warmers. Dealers Source reupholstered our seats with leather and added the warmers. They did a FABULOUS JOB. The leather is beautiful, soft and so comfortable. So much more luxurious than factory leather seats. I highly recommend Dealers Source. One of their mechanics found the problem in 5 minutes -- broken hydraulic lines visible from the trunk. They said they'd still need to see the car the next day to determine parts and charged me double what the dealer quoted for that estimate. The mechanic told me it would only take an hour or two to figure out the parts and I could get my car that same day, but the lady on the phone kept pressing for me to leave my car there until the parts came in several days later. Sad -- they used to be awesome.

I went ahead and did a Maps search for whoever was close to me but the shops i looked into - their reviews sucked butt. I went further into my search.... Hmm, Pro Car Audio. I'll see what they are all about. How many miles away from me though, I went ahead called. I spoke to the owner of the establishment and with his knowledge on speakers, amps, and whatever was needed, I decided to make an appointment with him. At my appointment, from the outside of the shop, it looks like a hole in the wall shop, but when you step foot inside, it was like the Taj Mahal!! The lobby and what was displayed was pretty awesome, and very organized. Sohail gave me a quote that sounded very reasonable to install the speakers to my vehicle, but I had just recently purchased another vehicle that needed a dash cam installed. Instead of getting speakers for the vehicle I originally wanted done, I got the installation for my dash cam instead, and they were pretty professional and on point on how they did the installation. Very clean and very impressive. I've been in many car stereo shops before, but never like this just for the fact that the owner and his brother know what they're talking about and what's good.. no, GREAT for your vehicle! Sohail and Faisal - the best in Austin for sure. And if anyone is reading this, COME TO PRO CAR AUDIO. The word "PRO" is there for a reason!

I specifically wanted the front camera mounted behind the rearview mirror so it is not visible when sitting in the driver's seat and this was accomplished. On April 13th I purchased a brand new truck and dropped it off the next day (April 14th) here for a…read morepremium spray on bedliner. When I picked the vehicle up and drove it home I went to close the door and after touching the outside of the door felt a gritty sandpaper texture over the paint. I started feeling around the vehicle and was immediately nauseated. They oversprayed bedliner on the entire vehicle. Driver front and rear door, roof, hood, fenders, headlights, fenders... everything. I immediately contacted them and left a message explaining the damages. The next day I contacted other bedliner installers, detailers, and a paint shop. All of them informed me that I was looking at a 10-12hr repair involving clay barring, scraping, buffing and polishing. They advised me not to use harsh solvents and chemicals. Other people online that had experienced issues with linex tried denatured alcohol, this did not work. I contracted the corporate linex office in NC to get help. I talked to them for a few days forwarding all photos and videos and a summary of the damage all while waiting to hear from the installer. When I finally got a call back from linex RR after 4 attempts to reach them I told them I was in touch with corporate and Marcus of RR said "well if you did that there's nothing we can do for you" and hung up. In the meantime, to save my brand new vehicle's paint, I paid $850 for a detailed to come out and work on the vehicle ALL DAY with two people and they were able to fix the exterior *mostly*. They were unable to fix the interior (window was left open during install) and now I must live with a ruined steering wheel, center console, and door card covered in gritty adhesive. Both the installer and corporate office refuse to accept damages for the issue. Learn from me and go to rhino or another retailer. They ruined my vehicle and lost a customer for life.

These fellas are kind, understanding, professional, hardworking, reliable, etc. I'll go on in this review to explain how an installation with multiple hiccups and hurdles proved that The Car Audio Shop deserves five stars. ---------------- ANDROID HEAD UNITS ---------------- I ordered a beautiful 12" Android head unit and asked TCAS to install it. Nick initially refused, mentioning customers are never satisfied with them and neither are they. I paid for them to put it in after the warning, and I saw what they meant. It didn't work with steering wheel controls, sounded awful, etc. I hated it on day one of install and scheduled my next visit that day. ---------------- STINGER HEAD UNITS ---------------- TCAS only sells and installs what they put in their own vehicles, and I understand why. This Stinger head unit has my 2016 4Runner feeling more like a 2026. Everything works and integrates well, and the sound quality is incredible. ---------------- COST ---------------- $100/hr. Don't let this scare you. Whenever I stopped in for surprise visits over the days they had my 4Runner, there were almost always two or all three working on it at the same time. ---------------- WORK ETHIC ---------------- Find a chair in their shop. I triple dog dare you. When these guys are on the task, they're working and working hard. ---------------- WORK WARRANTY ---------------- Unfortunately for me, the dash cam rear view mirror main unit and one camera were faulty. The manufacturer sent me a replacement and TCAS worked 5 hours at no cost to me on a Saturday to get me fixed up.
