Had an unfortunate accident in my 2012 Lexus RX 350. I took it to G&G Autobody because they had already done excellent work on the same vehicle a year earlier when it was rear ended. The second accident involved the front end, and the damage was extensive including the driver side Airbags, and 4 seatbelts that were locked up and had to be replaced. Scott gave me an initial estimate. It was going to be very expensive - but after all, it is a Lexus. Scott suggested that I let him try to find some after market parts in order to bring the cost of at least some of the parts. He did just that and reduced the final bill appreciably. When I came to pick up the car I was elated with how it looked. Just like new! I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing high quality work at a reasonable price. read more

They have a reputation for good work and seem nice. Unfortunately, they want you to sign an agreement that they may subcontract the work and if so they are not responsible for it!?! And that you owe any charges that insurance doesn't pay but they won't know them until they finish. And! to give them power of attorney to sign checks (which could be a thing?) and "further authorize direct payment for any repairs not included in the original estimate" which is a non-starter. They are probably a great shop but I've never seen this kind of legal stuff and they won't modify it. Only go there if you're going to be okay with it. read more

Thank you for your honesty, which is a very rare quality now a days. I ended up spending $536.29 and was without my car for 1/2 a day. Unlike two places here in Georgetown wanted to charge me. One was close to $2000.00 and the other place over $2000.00. I would have had to have gotten a rent a car aswell for a week aswell. I had a tailgate and fender flares painted here for my truck. The color is off and very obvious. I was told that they couldn't match it even though they had requested I leave them my old tailgate with them so that they could match it perfectly. They wanted another $1k to maybe match it with the rest of the truck. What a ripoff. I don't recommend them. Bottom line is you shouldn't take on a job you can't do. read more

Also, will you be giving me $400 in damages YOU MADE? ------------------------------------ -ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW They damaged my car and wanted to charge me $400 to repair the damage they put on. That was just one of the many problems I experienced. This was a complete nightmare. Car was worse than when I dropped it off. I am attaching several photos just so you can see for yourself. Car was brought in for minor damage to the bumper after a minor accident. This was a brand new car at that time, only 14 months old when I dropped it off. Infact, the damage so small, I debated whether or not to bring it in at all or just put a decal over the bumper. We decided to bring it in incase there was damage to the blind side monitor sensors. Issue #1. Color was totally OFF. My car is grey, they painted the bumper green (see photo). I realize color can be slightly OFF and I am totally cool with that, but really, totally different color???? They called me in to approve, and I was like, '....ehhhh?????' Issue #2. When I dropped off the car, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the trunk. When he returned it, there was a black painted line (see photo). When I asked him about it, he stated that there was a scratch there from before and he touched it up for me because I told him to and he did so as a courtesy. There are 2 problems with his statement. (A) This was a complete LIE! I never told him to touch my trunk. It was a 4 inch scratch and he would not have done that for courtesy. (B) Even if I did authorized him to touch it up (I didnt), how is black on grey 'touch up'? This is a totally different color. (C) He went on to tell me, if I wanted to get rid of the line, it would cost me $400. Lets think about that. He is charging me $400 for a line he put on that does not match the car that I did NOT authorize. WOW!!!!!! WOW!!!!!! I thought I had seen it all. And really, I would trust someone that that has proven to do sloppy work to repaint the bumper? Issue #3. Returned the car with dry grease stains all of the driver side interior including the interior roof. I sent him photos, incredibly, he denied he put all those grease stains in there. I told him this is a brand new car and we did not drop the car off like that. He denied but told us to bring it in and he would clean in. Issue #4. They return the car and did not put the top molding back on. When I inquired about this, they said they said they would order the part and put it on for me. When I went back, they had me sign a paper stating that they will not take responsibility for it being lost, but they would put one on as a courtesy. WOW WOW WOW. Yeah, I took it off a brand new car and threw it away just for fun. Summary. There is absolutely NO ACCOUNTABILITY here. If you damage someone's car, take ownership and just fix it. Customers dont want to hear excuses. Their quality is poor. How do you think I would approve a green bumper on a grey car? How in the world do you paint a black line on a grey car and not think the customer would notice? read more

Worst ever experience. G&G quotes $473 and ask for $400 up-front for the part (VW Jetta driver's side mirror). After the mirror is installed G&G adds another $350 to the total. Apparently, because a 20 year old young lady dropped-off the car for her mother (who was working) G&G decided to take advantage! G&G tried to claim that the "glass" on the side view mirror was not quoted, when they quoted the $473, yet stated that the mirror came in 3 parts. Either they has serious problems quoting jobs or they were taking advantage. Trying to take advantage is the most logical reason. Beware of this company. read more

Everyone I spoke with over the phone was very friendly and knowledgable, which is why I chose to bring my car to this body shop. They emailed me picture updates throughout the whole process. Once I learned of the collision my son had, I began to look for a Collision Center that I could trust - G&G had some very good reviews and seemed to be a "personal" type business - this I wanted just to stay informed of the repairs, problems, etc... Initially spoke with Scott and then Alfred - we did a quick estimate with key photos taken, submitted that to Insurance and we were on our way. I was kept informed of the progress, challenges and anything else that came my way. About a week before the expect repair date, Alfred gave me a call and let me know we would be looking at Friday afternoon (next, and as planned) for the work to be complete. In fact, it was completed early Friday morning. Upon pick up, it looked like and drove like, a new vehicle. Great job and great customer service. I'm still in shock with how HONEST this company is- seriously blown away with the level of integrity with which these folks operate. My first experience with G & G auto was back when I was 16 years old (8 years ago) and someone had backed into my very first car- messing up my headlights and crunching up my hood a bit. While I wasn't the one to deal with them directly (thanks Mom), the work done to my vehicle was excellent and made it look good as new. Fast forward to June 2014, I came in for an estimate for some cosmetic damage done to my vehicle by a hit and run (while I was driving the vehicle!). The employees were extremely helpful and took care of me right away. The guy I talked to said that they could even make it so that my $250 deductible was cut down to $100. Um yes please! My insurance company wanted me to bring my vehicle to their AllState collision location to get another estimate, which ended up being over $100 more than G & G's. This was seriously surprising to the AllState rep who said "That never happens. They must be really honest!" Apparently it's completely expected for auto body shops to inflate their quotes when insurance is paying, but not G & G. Very very cool. So I drop off my car at G &G and come back a week later. Not only do they give me back my perfectly repaired car, but they tell me that my deductible is ZERO and that it didn't take that long to do so here's a $75 check for unused labor costs. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) TL;DR version: 1) They fixed my car so that it looks 100% perfect 2) Gave me an incredibly honest estimate 3) I ended up paying NOT ONE CENT for my deductible 4) They gave ME a check for $75 for unused labor costs 5) IS THIS REAL LIFE?!?!?!?!?! Best customer service & outstanding repair work. As a young woman who knows absolutely nothing about this kind of thing- any repair shop could have easily ripped me off or inflated costs, but G &G did not. So incredible. Good people still exist, y'all. They really really do. While I sincerely hope that no one else decides to side swipe by car, I would take my car back to G &G in a heart beat. Wow. Recently bought a home with a two door garage - queue whacking my side mirror on the garage just 3 weeks after moving in...I requested a quote for a super simple part replacement from a few local body shops. I have a brand new car and about to move cross country - so I was super bummed when I realized someone had backed into my front end and scratched my car, leaving their red paint on my white car and NOT leaving a note! My regular mechanic recommended G&G so I popped in without an appointment for a quick estimate. The manager was quick to give me his time and gave a look at my scratch. G&G is hands down the most pleasant, smooth, and professional auto care I've done business with. Straight-up, upfront, and back up their word with genuine integrity. That statement is not something I give out cheaply or to just anyone either, as I've had a lot of experience with dozens of shops throughout the years. (Having cheap hand-me downs in your youth guarantees that reality) When you walk into his office, be sure to ask him about the Mustang picture on the wall for a quick laugh! Since I moved up to this area, I've had to use their services twice. The first time I didn't have full coverage insurance and was really looking for someone that could help in a way that I didn't have to bounce a rent check. I went to his place and a few others like Maaco, Berli's, and Master's Auto Craft. However, from the very beginning of going into G&G, Scott walked in and did a full walk around the car and gave me specific estimates and told me exactly what he could do for me without putting me into the hole financially. He was kind enough to allow me to find parts on my own and work with me to get the job the done. I made sure to upgrade to full coverage after that. Thankfully the second time I came to him I was fully insured. Again, I took my car to a few places and got quotes from them and tried to see what kind of people they were. But the others were just adding fees and part replacements in estimates that were unnecessary. They were quoting nearly double that of G&G for what looked to me like a mediocre job on the other vehicles and I didn't really like the way they did business. The other body shops were just a waste of my time. I decided to go ahead and finish some of the needed work left over from my last accident. I immediately chose G&G over the others again the same day. They don't jerry-rig you. Scott is a good old fashioned professional and just a good people person. He completely took care of supplementing from my insurance and I didn't have to deal with the claims adjuster at all after reporting my claim and getting the estimate. Any prices discussed are set, he doesn't backtrack on you on any sudden added costs and he seems to have that honor bound handshake deal that most people don't practice anymore. I did not get that kind of great customer service from the others. I subtly added an extra $50 on top of my bill for that extra mile he went for me. This is the place to go if you want your car to look like new. No short cuts. What some people do not know when you paint both metal and plastic with the same paint you may notice a different in the coloring as you are painting to different materials and both react differently.
