After getting estimates from a few different body shops, I ended up going with Nova Body Shop and I'm really glad I did. From the very beginning, they treated me like a person instead of just another insurance claim or dumb girl walking into a car shop. One thing that immediately stood out was that they actually asked me, "How perfect do you want this to look?" That might sound like a small question, but it wasn't. They took the time to explain my options instead of automatically pushing the most expensive repair possible, which I really appreciated. I have a 2015 and so it doesn't need to look fresh off the lot. Their estimate also came in **significantly** lower than another shop I visited, but at no point did it feel like they were cutting corners. The repair quality was excellent, and my Mazda looks fantastic again. What really earned this review, though, was the top notch customer service. When they noticed my Mazda emblem had cracked, they replaced it for me. During the conversation I jokingly mentioned making it pink... and they actually custom did it. It's such a fun little personal touch that makes me smile every time I walk up to my car. Most body shops fix your vehicle and send you on your way. Nova managed to fix my car and make the experience pain free and memorable. Nobody wants to spend $$$ on body work, but if you have to, it's nice knowing you're working with people who are honest, communicate well, and genuinely care about their customers. Hopefully I won't need another body shop anytime soon... but if I do, Nova will absolutely be my first call. read more

I'm so glad I went! When I pulled in, he told me to pull in front of the garage and his older man comes out and just starts working on my car! I didn't even send them any photos or anything! They fixed it for free! Zero dollars! Who does that! I tried to give them a good tip and they wouldn't even accept it. These are the people that deserve it most! They just genuinely wanted to help. Outstanding experience when I arranged to take in my 2013 Murano. Owner, Huan Phan himself, assessed the damage to my car and immediately knew how he and his family-centric team could fix the exterior damage issues that were not worthy of filing an insurance claim. Huan creatively fixed the loose door trim, buffed out all the scratches and gouges, and applied the Nissan registered paint I'd brought for touch ups. A wonderful honest family run business. I have met two sons who are energetic, well spoken and as nice as can be! They did a fabulous repair job on my Prius that a different shop refused to do because it was too difficult for them. For my suggestion to save some of my insurance money I told them I did not care if the paint wasn't an exact exact match. I really couldn't tell the difference though my husband thought he saw a slight one. The sun will fade at the same color anyway. I have been using them for years and have always gotten very practical and flexible results. They are willing to do perfect repairs at a normal price or practical repairs to save money. They have also given me assessments on used cars that have had damage for no charge. And they have fixed things that other shops refused or didn't know how to fix. Don't expect fancy! Somebody ran into my right side passenger side the front so the whole side panel was messed up and I took it to Nova and they fixed it for me to take them about 4 days and it's looked like new. A body shop you should never go to It's a really bad body shop that says you did a good job at first and then charges more money for taking a lot of time.... I never go there. *Reviews from past customers* My friend, a foreign PhD student, watched them with on his car for 2.5 hours. Nova then charged him for 8.2 hours of work. My friend is too polite and she to say anything so he just left, but he asked me to help him understand. I called Nova on his behalf and they had nothing but bad excuses and I get the feeling they make a habit of cheating and overcharging whomever they can. *Reviews from past customers* I will rate 0 star if I can! Here is my experience: I need to change the front bumper after bumping another car when I almost stopped at the crossing last week. I want to try Nova because of the reviews on Yelp and Google. I came by and they did a very quick estimate for total $700, which was really reasonable. However, after my insurance contracting them, they increased the ground total to $2200! They added a long list of unnecessary parts and MUCH more labor, which had nothing to do with mechanical issues and was never mentioned in my first visit! I was so angry that I took back my car before they started working and went directly to GP1 collision center, the body shop of Round Rock Nissan. Can you believe that the dealer's estimate is only $1300 in total with such a thorough check and definitely all my insurance information? How could people trust this body shop!
