    Message back and forth with Tesla after my car stopped steering properly.

    EDIT; 4/28. : two weeks later I had alignment issues. I took my car to Tesla and they said parts were lose and nuts were missing. These people not only lied to me for 2 months but performed dangerous and shoddy work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! https://imgur.com/a/DFtrJ0k EDIT: 5/27 : Their reply to this review has an email that I emailed after they left it. I have never heard back from them. They managed to respond to my chargeback sooner than they responded to my email. 2/6/23 - I call ask about timeline. If wheels/suspension issue, they can fit me inside of two weeks - or else it will take longer. They will let me know when they get it. Tesla's earliest repair date was 3/4 with completion 3/8 so I go with Caliber. 2/8/23 - Car towed to Caliber. 2/21/23 - I received a vague auto-generated estimate - no details & has a $200 line item for a tow that was already paid for. I called & they said the estimate was sent in error, they'll give me the real estimate in a few days. 3/3/23 - No estimate. It has been 11 days since they said "in a few days" on 2/21. I call in to ask if they have anything. They admit the car hasn't been put on a lift to look at it, but they'll call me on Tuesday 3/7 when the mechanic looks at the car. How would there have been a possibility of this being done in two weeks, if three weeks in, the car has not been put on a lift to look at it? Saying "we can't fix it until end of April" upfront would've been fine. 3/7/23 - The date I'd get a call about an estimate; no call. 3/8/23 - Wednesday arrives, no call. I've run a repair business for 14 years: I know something is wrong here. There were three times they told me something that isn't true. 1) There was a possibility of this taking two weeks, 2/6 2) I would receive an estimate in a few days, on 2/21 3) That I'd get a call on 3/8, and I've heard nothing on 3/9. I send an email asking if I should take the car back - no being an annoying customer, no bad review. Let me know if you're understaffed or can't fix my car. I am trying to give them an out. They don't take it; I get this email reply which implies I was looking to be put in front of other customers,. https://imgur.com/a/fwzya3X This is gaslighting man :( I was not looking to be put in front of other customers - I was holding them to their own statements. "I'm sorry if you have mixed feelings about our process." - it's not a feeling that they've lied 3 times. They haven't told me the truth once. 3/13 - I get the real estimate! Progress. 3/24 - They reach out to say they have every part besides axle & I should have car done next week. 3/29 - It's getting close to 3/31; I asked if it'll be done by Friday since my rental is ending. Caliber said they'll try to have it done tomorrow, and tell me about someone else whose car has been there for over 4 months. 3/30 - Car will be done 4/1, or 4/3 worst case scenario. Caliber will let me know. 4/3 - End of day I hear nothing. I say "I guess 4/3 worst case isn't working out" 4/5 - Caliber says your car will be done in an hour, you can pick up tomorrow, I'll contact you in the morning. 4/6 I hear nothing, at 4 PM I ask if I can pick up - also nothing. I message at 5 PM again, they say I can pick up. They were all nice - I had a conversation with them when I got there. My curiosity was killing me - I've run a reputable repair business(google my name and look up the reviews - they reflec t that we're honest with people) so I had to know, does it bother you to tell people something you *know* isn't true? This is when they told us about staff shortages, parts ordering issues, people not showing up. All I was asking about on 3/8. I don't mind if you have issues. I'll still give you 5 stars. I've messed up, I've broken things, I've gotten bad parts. I know what it is like to be on the other end of this. What sets us apart is that regardless of how bad it is, we _never_lie_to_customers_ - ever. If I have no idea what's going on with a data recovery, and you're not going to hear from me for 11 weeks while we search for donors, we tell them that. Our customers know what to expect, and they trust us, because we tell them the truth, regardless of how bad the truth is. Had I went to Tesla directly, I would've saved over $1500+ on rentals, a month & avoided aggravation.

    Never bring your Tesla or any car you have service records for that you take care of and care about. They will find a way to pad the ticket to total out your car. I will never ever bring my car back here and I encourage y'all not to either they aren't clear, don't let you know before they do something major. I just came in for body buff and some small pieces fixed and they came up with 16,000 $ of parts that are wear and tear and not from this incident. They took apart my ac when it was in perfect condition and tried returning to me not working & broke parts while taking apart my vehicle. I didn't clearly know was going to happen due to us coming to the conclusion everything was just cosmetic that needed addressing. They will find a way to get over on you and try pinning it on you. Save your time money and heart ache and just go to the actual Tesla certified body shop that will care and treat you & your property with respect AUTOCRAFT BodyWerks. when i took my car there, they really took care of me and you really will get what you came for with them. I have a 2015 model s that i drive 4k miles a month in & they didn't take any of it into account with my estimate. I just had tons of parts replaced and they never asked for a past report or even cared to look for one, they just deemed it shyt . So MARK MY WORDS NEVER COME HERE THEY WILL SCALP YOU. Before taking it in for a quick repair i had my vehicle taken to Tesla in Austin down 500 E St Elmo Rd. For a diagnostic on what's going on with my ac, they diagnosed it and just replaced the o ring that needed replacing and it was good as new. Ran it for a good while to ensure it was even able to get in 1000 miles before being it in. One time charging i left the keep ac on to make sure the ac was really fixed. It ran for 2hours straight and it was 46° in the cabin. My ac was fixed they ripped my poor car apart and refused to put it back in the state it was. There truly something fishy going on at this location of caliber collision luxury 10420 metric blvd. in Austin tx their GM Ronan Shackelford AINT WORTH 2¢. Doesn't have the integrity to actually take care of the situation. I have a full service report from TESLA themselves not a malpractice work place.

    Steven M. was incredible. He and his team delivered on the promise of a just-like-new and clean service earlier than expected. Steven kept me up to date on each milestone of the repair process and always willing to answer my questions along the way. This is the place where work gets done with excellence and fast! Would recommend to any of my fellow Tesla-owners. Thank you Steven and team.

    This has been the most professional and pleasant experience I could have imagined. Especially with Delia (Dee) Speller who lead me by the hand through the entire process. Text updates, calls to confirm, all of it was so professional. I know Ronan, the manager, sets the environment for his team. No other repair shop thought they were able to fix my H3 Hummer, but Ronan assured me one of his team owned a Hummer and would take good care of her. To say the lease, I was impressed!!

    My windows was damaged while in passion of Caliber Collision. GM Ronan Shackelford lied about repairing the damage sent picture supposed to be proof of prior damage. Their inspector never noted window damages. Look at before picture showing bird poop after picture show complete negligence. Very rude management left me feeling discriminated against. Keep away from this location! I am highly disappointed. I trusted that my vehicle was in good hands and it was not!

    Touch up Masters is the only place I recommend going for all your dents scratches and ding repairs…read more The owner is genuinely a master at making all those sorts of things disappear and looking like new. I've never been this impressed with this sort of stuff before but that's because I've never come across some as downright thorough as this gentleman. To top it off he's reasonably priced and does the work in a very timely fashion according to the level of damage he's having to fix. I had people tell me it would be impossible to fix the hole in my bumper without painting the entire front end of my vehicle claiming that the paint wouldn't blend or look good if they didn't do all that work which would have cost a couple thousand , low and behold Touch Up Masters did it no problem-- you can't even tell where the work was done and the paint was blended. Im so glad I had patience and found this shop because I was losing hope I'd ever fix this issue for a reasonable price. I knew someone out there could do it and not try and rip me off so I kept searching and researching reviews. I'm grateful in more than one way for the outstanding job and integrity of the owner at Touch Up Masters. He kept his word was done when he said he would be charged me a fair price, I couldn't have asked for a better all around experience. If it's your first time visiting keep in mind the shop is in the back of the building and not easily visible at first glance from Metric Blvd. but not necessarily hard to find if you know that simple detail of where to go. Just drive between the two buildings when you pull up go to the back and you will see a clear sign for Touch Up Masters. I highly recommend always getting quotes but I would bet money Touch Up Masters will not only beat the price but do a way better Job than most of those other self impressed dime a dozen "big name" companies. Those places are all about money and quantity over quality of work and will pressure you into making a hasty decision. Don't take my word for it show up and find out for yourself so that you can appreciate the level of detail I received at Touch Up Masters off Metric Blvd.

Once I had the fender repaired, Jessie had my car worked on and completed in less than 24hours. He did it for a very reasonable price, much more reasonable than any other quotes I've gotten. I am happy with my results and would refer anyone to give him a call for car touch ups!

This was an insurance job. I had AAA. Not only did they do great work the first time, but I actually went back two days after I received my car because my speaker quit working. Not going to lie, I figured it was because it's old and That was exactly it. But still, they walked me out. There took care of me, and even the owner sat there and did most of the work and explained to me While giving me shit lol I enjoy doing business with these guys all the way around from the front desk to Nayeli (Who is with you every step of the way) And even the owner. If you guys are looking for a reputable shop, this is it. Just go look at some of their cars on Google. They deal with high-end stuff. My little C5 was the runt in the shop lol. They also had all of my car situation, taken care of before my rental was up for my insurance. They returned my car to me the day I needed to return my rental. Big applause Hopefully I don't need to come back, but if I do, I know where I'm going. Also, they showed me my car midway through the process. Lovely family business that…read moredoes high quality repair work, gives multiple updates along the way and the owner even cleaned my car ;) When I went to pick up, they noticed I needed air in a tire, filled it up and checked on another thing that was engine related and not on them. Lovely shop. Highly recommend! Oh! Forgot to mention, my car was ready a few days before their original estimate too!
