I just got done with my Corvette getting fixed here. It was a C5 z06. If you know anything about cars, that's not normal body work as it is a type of fiberglass called SMC. This was an insurance job. I had AAA. Not only did they do great work the first time, but I actually went back two days after I received my car because my speaker quit working. Not going to lie, I figured it was because it's old and That was exactly it. But still, they walked me out. There took care of me, and even the owner sat there and did most of the work and explained to me While giving me shit lol I enjoy doing business with these guys all the way around from the front desk to Nayeli (Who is with you every step of the way) And even the owner. If you guys are looking for a reputable shop, this is it. Just go look at some of their cars on Google. They deal with high-end stuff. My little C5 was the runt in the shop lol. They also had all of my car situation, taken care of before my rental was up for my insurance. They returned my car to me the day I needed to return my rental. Big applause Hopefully I don't need to come back, but if I do, I know where I'm going. Also, they showed me my car midway through the process. Also very easy to communicate with and returns messages or calls promptly. Took my Beetle here after a hit and run situation....and they rocked!!! Lovely family business that does high quality repair work, gives multiple updates along the way and the owner even cleaned my car ;) When I went to pick up, they noticed I needed air in a tire, filled it up and checked on another thing that was engine related and not on them. I always trust protech body shop with all and any body work custom or otherwise that I want done on my cars. I have taken several high end premium cars before to them for aero kits and custom paint and they have always been the best shop in town. Recently I acquired a brand new 2026 Silverado zr2 and I wanted to add some flare to it with a go rhino sports bar 2.0 and some offroad lights, this is not an easy install and it's the main reason I decided to to go protech because they're meticulous and I knew will make it look oem. Needless to say marwan and his crew were able to get the bar installed, lights installed, wiring of lights and actuator motor installed, and added 2 switches to the interior of my car with perfect precision. What impressed me the most is how they hide the wires effortlessly and how the 2 switches on the inside of my cabin appear to be OEM which I absolutely love. While I'd certainly have preferred to not need ProTech Body Shop, another driver had other ideas. Since I did need them, I wanted to leave a review here for the excellent work and service they provided. First and foremost the repair work was excellent. I was a bit worried because my Jeep is a a somewhat unique color, but they did an awesome job matching color as well as the overall body work. To make things even better, the team kept me updated on progress by text which I really appreciated and left the inside of my Jeep the cleanest it has been.... Maybe since I bought it. I called up my local Lexus dealership and asked if they did any auto body work and they said they referred it to another body shop in Round Rock. So, after reading the reviews of that body shop, I said "Heck No! So I read the reviews of quite a number of body shops around town and came across this one. The one thing I look for most of all is customer satisfaction and fair price. When it came to doing some minor front end body work on our Lexus, the price was fair and the turnaround time was six days. Before we got the car, it had been in a minor front end collision, which damaged the bumper mount and misaligned the hood, causing it to vibrate when you drive. After straightening out some of the bent parts and adding a new grill bezel and bumper guard, the price came out to $1120. Everything is straight, in alignment and snug. Two things you need to know, first of all, if you use a credit card to pay, they will charge you 3% extra if over $1000. Secondly, because they don't have a lot of space to work with, they will charge you $50 every 24 hours that you do not pick up your car. I had a great experience when I took my 1960 Austin-Healey Sprite to Protech Body Shop to repair a small dent I got in a parking lot. It's not easy to find a shop that will work on classic cars these days, and they were helpful and knowledgeable even though most of their work is modern cars & exotics. The work they did was excellent - the car looks like nothing ever happened. They were extremely picky about the color match, redoing some work when it didn't meet their standards. They cleaned up some bad electrical connections when reinstalling the taillight, that had nothing to do with the dent, they just felt it was important. I also appreciated that they sent me photos regularly as the work went on. I felt all the folks at Protech, and especially Nour and Marwan, were friendly and dedicated to making the job right. Even when we found that after the work was all done that my battery was dead (it was really old), they were gracious and helpful as I had to go get a new one and install it before I could pick up the car. In a nutshell...awesome! I dinged the front of my car which had a wrap on it. The wrap shop rewrapped it but didn't address the ding under the wrap. In fact, they made things worse. I went to Austin Film Solutions (AFS) and they suggested I take it to Protech first to be repaired. They assured me that Protech was "the best". They weren't wrong. Nour at Protech explained what had to be done to bring it to like new condition. The paint was a factory matte and she assured me they had all the matching paint specs. She sent pics along the way and after they were done they arranged to have the area re-wrapped by AFS. I could not have experienced better service, communications, and very fair pricing. Road debris busting my stock front lip on my 2017 F82 forced me to purchase a new Vorsteiner carbon fiber GTS style lip. 100% Recommend this place. I spent days searching for an honest body shop that was willing to work with the extensive damage done to my car. Many places didn't feel right and turned me down. A friend recommended this place and as soon as I walked in they took the time to hear my concerns and explained in detail despite being so busy. My Mini Cooper S had a busted front lip from a minor accident which ended up causing more extensive damage than my insurance (Geico) estimated, resulting in a full replacement of the hood and most of the front end. When I met with Nour from Pro-tech they went over the handling process with me and kindly answered my questions as I explained that this is the most extensive repairs I've ever needed done on a vehicle and was not familiar with what to expect. Day 1 and throughout the several days my car was there I was updated with a detailed final estimate, provided resources on how to stay in touch, and was generally made to feel valued and informed. When it came time for pick up, the shop had my car pulled up for me and I was walked through what all had been done. As other reviewers have mentioned, the paint match is perfect, and everything looks better than new. When asking about my hood I was informed that the custom stripes would need to be painted 1 week after that day to allow time for the main color to properly dry, and promptly scheduled for it the following week. They even polished my headlights and cleaned my interior without my asking - and that's just to name a few of the favors they did me! When it came time to pay I explained my ignorance of the process by which the insurance paid them vs my costs and was given perhaps the most thorough, kind explanation of the deductible/estimate system I could have asked for. They mentioned how they worked with several major insurers to validate their parts lists, labor, paint, etc. and handle the payment without needing to bother me. I paid a fraction of the total costs and legitimately walked out smiling. Ultimately, this business turned a financial and logistical nightmare of mine, into an afterthought and desire to support them again should the need ever arise. I've never been treated better or more fairly by an auto shop before - this place deserves a sixth star. Will update photos when the hood stripes are painted. read more
