I was hit in a parking lot by a lady and I chose Gerber because I candidly recognized the address thinking it's another place that used to be in that building. Turns out, that was the best accident ever. Gerber bought out the old place that I'd been to years ago. Carlos and Maria took great care of me! Maria runs the front desk and reaches out to you and also helps you stay in contact with your rental car company. Carlos is soooo helpful and gives explanations in laymen's terms. He also found where a bit of shoddy fixing had been previously done when I was rear ended before. His crew beautifully fixed up my vehicle to make it look like new. The best part of it was they did a crazy nice detail and wash. That vehicle looked like a million bucks when I got it back! I appreciate their help and dedication to making this process easy and less stressful. They also helped me to talk to the insurance company. I highly recommend them! read more

I was completely impressed with Niyah Hinojosa and Jherlyn Avila. My car looked amazing. They even went the extra mile and stayed late so I could pick up on a Friday afternoon. Wonderful service, professionalism and timeliness . I am grateful for all that you do! read more

Ok, just spoke to Alex, My appointment was cancel 2 hours prior dropping my car, they have screwed up before and they gave today to drop my car at the shop. I called around 11:00 to double check that Gerber and enterprise and I am able to get a ride to enterprise. John at Gerber calls 2 hours prior just to say, the Girl that made your appointment is new she did not know. Enterprise does not have cars, I need to re schedule you for a later day, WHAT THE HELL. Now I call and THERE IS NO MANAGER. SO GERBER YOU ARE NOT RELIABLE, YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR MAYBE YOU TO BIG THAT YOU DON'T NEED THE PEOPLE. Had a talk with Noel that has been serving Pflugerville for almost 15 years, I truly respect our conversation, I will be dropping my car with Him after all. Noel Thank you for taking the time to listen and make things right. Thank you Noel read more

They really dropped the ball on following up to repair my Lexus. Subpar repair job in the first place, had to bring it back multiple occasions. Was given the run around when I wanted to speak to anyone higher than the store manager. They are not worth the money. read more

Picked up my RAV4 today after two weeks of hail damage repairs and repairs on tailgate from hit and run. Gerber was extremely professional throughout and kept me well informed of their progress. When I picked up the SUV today, I was astounded by the perfection of the staff. Everything, I mean everything, was repaired in "like new" condition. I will have no hesitation to use Gerber in the future if needed (and I hope to never need them again LOL) read more

Jacob was my estimator and did a great job keeping me informed along the process so I wasn't left wondering. He was also extremely professional when I got annoyed with a minor issue. They repaired my car as if the wreck never happened. I was also 30 minutes late to my estimate but they still immediately got my appointment done. They cleaned the inside and outside of my car and did an alignment. Highly recommend. Top notch service. read more

Back in 2018 I gave Capital Collision a glowing five-star review. This time around I'm giving three - five stars for the finished work and two for the customer service. Let me say up front that I WILL take my car to Capital if I ever need their services again, without hesitation. As with my previous experience, the work done was impeccable. Unlike my previous experience, the customer experience was disappointing. I brought my car in to have hail damage repaired from a storm in March. I knew a lot of cars were affected and wanted to wait until after the mad rush for repairs. I waited until May before I called and received assurances that there would be no delays. If they'd told me things were still hectic I would have waited. Given that I have no reason to cut them any slack on account of the storm. The frustration began before I even brought the car in. I was advised to call their branch location (where all hail repairs were being done) to ask about any possible delays, but was told to drop the car off at the Rutland location I'd originally contacted. That wouldn't be the first time one of the branches told me to call the other, and this would prove to be an omen. When I dropped the car off I dealt with a rep who took my information and insurance paperwork. At some point she seemed to turn her attention elsewhere, and I eventually asked what was left to be done. "That's everything" she replied. I pointed out that I hadn't been asked for my key yet, and handed it to her, having kept my ride waiting outside longer than needed be. Most of my communication came through my insurance company, who called me no less than four times with updates. It seemed they had a sense that things were taking a bit too long. On two of those calls I was told they'd tried to contact the shop but had been unable to get an update. Not good. At one point I called for an update and was advised "we've got 40 or 50 cars over here," which only served to rub salt in the wound left by the empty initial assurances. We were closing in on a full month of time in the shop when I got a call that they would try to have the car done the next day, ahead of the Memorial Day weekend. That day I called and confirmed it would be ready at 5:00 p.m. only to show up and be told it would be another hour or so. I was able to ride around with the person who'd given me a ride and spend the last while sitting on the pavement outside the shop. Not a big deal, but a final frustration to add on top of all the others. Well, not quite the final frustration. I pulled out my checkbook to pay my insurance deductible and was informed they don't take checks, only credit and debit cards. Yes, I had a card, but if I hadn't I would have been beyond furious, and left to find a ride home, empty-handed. If my deductible payment had been much higher it would have exceeded the daily limit for my debit card. Just not cool. After those last-minute hassles I didn't bother inspecting the car before I took delivery. I was confident I didn't have to. And sure enough, when I walked out I found the car was immaculate. They'd even detailed the inside. It's hard to stay mad when you get work done so well, but my customer experience was so much better on my previous repair. Would I recommend them? Yes. Am I a bit disappointed and pissed off? Also yes. Make of that what you will. read more

I'm glad the truck is finally fixed after having been there for five months, however we have no confidence in the work done because we have had lies from the Gerber folks the whole time. We were told that they were going to QC, our vehicle much more than they usually do to ensure we never had to bring it back or any warranty issues. As soon as we got there to pick up the truck, my husband -who is not an auto guy- noticed that there was a part that was not replaced. Upon leaving we noticed that the sensors were not working and that we had two giant screws in one of our tires that were almost new. We went back and they told us that in fact, there was a short in one of the wires and that they would buy us a new tire as the screws came from their shop. When we went back to pick up the truck after they said it was fixed and that they had replaced the tire with a brand new one. We noticed when we got home that the tire was not at all knew it wasn't even a new used tire. It was the exact same tire with a poorly patched Job that they had just flipped backward to hide it leaving us in a hazardous state. We got in contact with the tire shop they told us they had used to buy the new tire and they said that they did have a tire, but that Gerber never brought the truck to have it put on. We are currently driving to have the tire replaced now. It has been a stream of lies and delays, and our ability to trust that they did quality work has been completely shattered. I would not recommend Gerber to anyone, nor would I ever use them again. read more

If I could give a negative star, I would! If you're big on customer service, like i am, Do NOT get your vehicle repaired here. They have the worst customer service & it's almost impossible to ever get through and speak to someone since their phone line is always busy. My car was in their shop for over a month! I had to call to check on status because apparently these folks are "so busy." The entire month, I received ONE call and it's because I called several times that day to ask about my vehicle status. These folks do not care about their customers do not trust them with your vehicle! read more

After being involved in an accident, I needed a place to get an estimate to fix my vehicle. The insurance company had a list of their preferred places, so I checked reviews and ended up choosing ACC. A tow was arranged and away it went. A few days later I called the insurance company in which they seemed to have a quote that was worth more than the vehicle, but then said the shop wasn't quite finished. There seemed to be some disconnect between the shop/adjustor and the insurance company. I am unsure of who's fault this is and really don't care. The shop did what was needed and was accommodating when I was told my vehicle was a total loss and I had to go get anything left in it. I'd consider them in the future if I need any body work done. read more

My neighbor backed into my car so I had to get my door replaced. I noticed the great reviews when looking for a body shop to get it fixed, I will go ahead and add another 5 stars. This seems like a family owned business and their customer service is beyond anything I expected. They offered to give me a ride to enterprise since they were taking awhile, texted updates, and was very easy to work around my schedule. They went above and beyond on the repairs and tweaked a few things such as paint chips from rocks while my car was in there. I hope I don't have to deal with any more car issues anytime soon but I know where I will be taking my business. Great people! Stop your search and call now. read more

I came in near closing time to get a quote for my front bumper which was falling off a bit on the side after someone backed into it, and I was attended to very promptly. This is a locally owned shop and the people who work here are honest, trustworthy, and take time to thoroughly go over any problems/concerns. Absolutely stellar, both in terms of performance and customer service. They worked with my insurance from the beginning so I didn't have to. The body work they performed on my car was excellent, and they even cleaned out and vacuumed my car. During the detailing, a small FM transmitter that I had in the cigarette lighter went missing (as I say, it was very small and would have been very easy to misplace, I don't think anything untoward happened, they had to move a lot of stuff around to do the detailing). After helping me look for it for several minutes, Eric, the owner, personally offered to pay to replace it. Hopefully I never need body work on my car again, but if I do, this will be the first place I go. read more

Absolutely great customer care and staff - especially Vincent! I went to the wrong location for my car repair and I had already dropped off my rental car at Enterprise, so I was stranded. Nice people, great communication, really easy to deal with. Had my damage repaired in about 10 days, which seems really like a really quick turnaround. Before starting the repair, they noticed there was even more damage to the hatchback that needed to be fixed. Worked with my insurance and tied up all the loose ends, everything on that end was seamless as well. read more

Great shop. In my seemingly never ending dumbass-ery I accidentally dropped an Igloo cooler onto my 2 week old 2014 Silverado (it still had dealer plates on it!) when I was trying to grab it from a top shelf in my garage. It put about a 2" diameter and fairly deep dent in my fender next to the hood. I was quoted over $600 at another shop but they quoted the job for much less for me. When I got the truck back the dent was vanished, the paint matched perfectly and the fender looked like new. Carlos did my work and was masterful. Will definitely be going to these guys for anything my body needs moving forward. read more

Let me state initially that I've been flat out ripped off by dealership repair shops and vowed to never use one again. I've spent over 5k on repairs to my vehicle and Austin Vee Dub has been as effective as one would hope given such an expense. They're busy because they are good. read more

I would say try to avoid this shop! I had the misfortune of working with them by a referral from a driver who managed to smash my car up parking his. It's a bad enough experience that was made much worse by my experience here. They did a quick job of external damage - and made it seem like they had a remote mechanic to properly assess internal damage. This is where the nightmare began that forced me to buy a new car this year. If my internal damage was properly assessed - the right call would have most likely been a total, because of impact the engine (as my car was backed in), but this shop spoke nothing of the clear damage done. I was very new to Austin, so had to rely on this guy's insurance contacts until eventually I got a referral. I think it took half a dozen calls with these guys and two test drives (one which probably further damaged my car, requesting I drive 50 MPH+ over a much too large dip in the road), where the guy responsible for listening for the end user issues I noticed missing the output that happened almost immediately with small talk distracting him. There was one person on staff that seemed to care, who eventually admitted internal damage was out of their wheel house. So it was sent to a dealer for more test drives and miles on my damaged engine. I finally got a great referral from a co-worker. That mechanic identified the issues within an hour, walking me through everything and the steps we would take to further assess some additional damage he was concerned about. The damage inflicted on my car was so bad - that mechanic urged me to get rid of the car. And because of the body work done, and leading questions from the insurer of this idiot driver - there was the required evidence anymore for the insurer to cover the damage their driver inflicted. So I ended up having to pay $350 to register my car with the State of Texas. This shop participated in something awful. And these resources big companies refer all too frequently often do. It's a shame. Karma is a circle though, and I would just say - I hope you already know of a better place, if not truly take the time to get solid referrals in this area. Do all you can to avoid this place, just not good business. Not to mention they didn't even match my paint exactly with repairs and got primer spots all throughout my vehicle. Not clean of attentive work even if quick, and you can't expect them to fully assess the damage on your car properly, which goes against the purpose of collision repair. I can only hope you never have the experience I did - with them or anyone else. Consumer beware!! read more

Progressive recommended ACC & MAC because they both have a great reputation with their customers and are very well known in their respective industry. No sign of over spray, no faded paint spots and the bumper was perfectly aligned like it was never taken off. Carlos and his colleagues did a great job and were very professional.
