This shop by far is the worst repair shop I have ever had the displeasure of having any association with. I had a repair estimate that was made by an employee who left the company. He never passed on the correct information and the repair was never completed. The scatches and interior panel was never replaced although it was noted and documented on the ledger. When I tried to correct the situation they ignored me and said they never received the correct estimate so they refused to do the additional work they were hired and contracted to do. I was even warned by a former employee that it was very common that communication is very poor. Please read the yelp reviews before you commit. If you have a high value car such as a Mercedes or any luxery car, I highly recommend you stay away from this low quality shop. read more

We purchased a 2025 CR-V from First Texas Honda in Austin. Love it and the service we have received from them. We had scraped the one side recently backing into our garage and thought we had ruined it. First Texas recommended Continental to assess the damage. I took it there and Edward Listander was extremely helpful by clearing the marks and it looks like new again. This saved us tons of money because it didn't need replacement. read more

Avoid this place! Continental Collision is the worst! For a second estimate, we took the car here, as Infinit recommended it. Our first estimate - $4,000. This place, $15,000, or to total the car. For us to get our car back, we had to pay storage fees for 13 days and pay to "reassemble" car, to a cost of $2600. (They took so long for the estimate, racking up storage fees daily.) We took car back to original estimate in Round Rock and it cost $5300 to fix the car, after adding the damage they did to it. Crash Collision was the best! Plus, warrantied their work. read more

Bad experience. They were not honest/upfront with me from the start. I chose them as my repair shop after a fellow ran into my vehicle at my apt complex because Honda recommended them and their sticker was in the door jam. I asked if they worked w/Geico, that I had my parked vehicle hit, and they said yes. So I emailed them the $531.48 Geico estimate. Their installer emailed that car needed to be left, disassembled(it didn't, one could clearly see All damaged area near the door dam by simply opening the door). They didn't tell me I'd be responsible for some $5,500 in repairs by leaving my vehicle with them and that Geico doesn't cover anything but aftermarket parts and doesn't pay for Honda inspections till afterwards. I begged and pleaded and reluctantly they gave me their Advertised, Quote, unquote "Free estimate" of $5,591.89 after Shaming me for not just leaving my vehicle with them and agreeing to be Peesonally responsible for the $5,000. thwy Knew Geico wasn't going to covet. They've been in the business long enough to know. :) I suggest folks ask what part thwy are responsible for before just listening to the Ploy that the way it works is you need to sign, leave your vehicle, because we don't know the Full estimate until we take it apart. Had an insurance case and my vehicle ended up being totaled. However communication with the shop and case individual was perfect. I recommend this shop because it was a Subaru authorized collision center. This prevents them from taking shortcuts rather than just patching it up. Totalling helped me out even though it was a shame due to a deer collision. I would take a vehicle here again if i would have to need a collision shop again. Hopefully not.... read more

I brought my car in almost 2 months ago. Mark Pereles walked my car with me. Nice guy but since then, no progress has been made. My car isn't fixed. No parts have been ordered. No estimate provided. I've called a dozen+ times most of the time with no response. When I did get Mark on the phone they said they're waiting on insurance (I'm paying out of pocket) or I was told their phones weren't working. Again, Mark was nice but this still doesn't seem like a good reason for my car to not get fixed. I was totally pleasant and understanding. Got me nowhere. Where to start, that is the question? I guess from the beginning. After being in an accident and hit by an 18 wheeler during the worst hail storm that Texas has ever had, at least that I'm aware of. I found myself needing a mechanic/body shop. Unfortunately, as the driver didn't feel the need to stop I found myself filing a claim with my insurance. From the jump like it always is incredibly frustrating dealing with insurance. We are required to pay for insurance and held accountable yet nobody holds the insurance companies accountable and we often the consumer get screwed. I will say that Continental Collision, Dan, the gentleman that was over seeing my car, made things by far easier to deal with. Dan came out very cordially, introducing himself, and had empathy for the fact that I had just been in a terrible situation. He explained to me that they would do everything they could within the scope of what was possible to take care of me. Naturally, I was very hesitant given past experiences. But I was pleasantly surprised with just how accurate that statement would come to be. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for my insurance, USAA or the car rental company Enterprise. But that's neither here nor there. Dan made up for it in spades as he diligently took my many questions an concerns without frustration or irritation. To no surprise USAA wanted to place all problematic issues on Continental Collision. But at every point, Dan was incredibly honest and respectful showing me details and facts where USAA tried to place blame but couldn't. Dan never got upset or irritated when confronted with the issues USAA blamed on him. Dan logged in his computer and showed me step by step everything that was done an when. Down to a phone call I personally didn't get somehow but he logged in at over a minute. Showing that a voicemail was definitely left. It's a great system an impossible to get around. If I called an he was unavailable, I always got a call back in a timely manner. Through the entire experience he stayed on top of things. To boot when my windshield was said not to be part of the accident , which it was but USAA said no. Dan informed me how I can dispute this. In the end my windshield did not get covered. So I inquired about what my insurance company was offering me, an aftermarket windshield. I didn't understand exactly. Dan pulled out some great material an information that explained everything an the problem that these cheep aftermarket windshields can cause. Obviously distraught at having to spend more money out of pocket with my current situation. I asked to speak to a manager. Once doing so I was educated on why certain options were not available anymore an I sadly understood. Still they have gone above an beyond to help make it manageable to get me in my car with the proper equipment an windshield. All in all I can say this is one shop that is not there to take you for your money but truly do care an work hard an honestly to provide a great experience an service for every customer. After being rear-ended by another driver, I was distraught about my gorgeous car sustaining damage, and distressed about the insurance claim and repair process. The first estimate I received came from a reputable, although high volume collision repair facility and it seemed to omit some important details. Not wanting to take shortcuts or endure future problems, I checked MBUSA for a certified Mercedes collision center which led me to Continental Collision. I was connected to Dan Herrman who talked me through the entire process, filled me in on what the first facility had overlooked, and got me on the schedule. I had to wait a few weeks before my appointment, but I was fine doing so knowing that my vehicle would be repaired at a Mercedes-Benz certified facility. When I dopped my car off, the staff at Continental Collision were professional and cordial. They coordinated with Enterprise Rental, which made things quite easy for me. As an added convenience, I was able to pick-up my car and leave the rental at Continental upon completion of the work. In the end, my car looked new again and all my vehicle's systems functioned as they did before the accident. My only qualm about the matter was the overall length of time for the repair; however, the length of time was affected by parts availability and shipping. Why does this place only have three stars? I am shocked. I just moved to Austin a few months ago and had never been in an auto accident. Continental Collision made this horrible experience an amazing one! I worked with Ed and he's the reason I am writing this review. Can we give this man a promotion? In all seriousness, Ed followed up with me every couple of days to keep me updated with the repairs and to answer any and all questions. I truly appreciated the constant communication as well as how quickly they were able to fix my vehicle. And this place is FULL of damaged vehicles from auto accidents so I am thankful mine was completed so quickly. Good work but like many body shops they try to get as much from my insurance company as possible. Their initial quote for a minor accident (hood and front body damage) came in over 30k. But they did have good communication and promised I wouldn't pay anymore than my deductible which in the end was true. read more

Because of the reviews, dealer's recommendation, and the fact that we had fixed our other vehicle there before, they equally did a good job. I've waited for 4 months to get my SUV paint peeling fixed. On Tuesday, 2/6/2024 , I was finally able to get my SUV into their shop. I picked up my freshly-painted SUV yesterday, 2/7/2024. Took my car here again to attempt to get the window issue resolved. Rick agreed when I dropped it off that there was an issue with my window. He said that he would personally make sure that my car is taken care of this time. (This is the second time I have brought it here to fix an issue that came up after my repair on my driver side door when someone put their two hitch through my door. My window now makes this noise when you roll it up, a noise that was not present when I initially purchased my car, and one that is not present on my passenger side door.) He told me that he would make sure my car seat is covered this time and is not sure why it wasn't done the first time (but in reality it wasn't done any of the 3 times I have visited prior to this final time). I did see him go and cover my car seat with plastic when I was getting in the loaner car to leave. I had just gotten my car detailed on Friday before taking it here, I have not had any passengers in my car since I've gotten it detailed and I can count on my fingers how many times I've ever had someone sit/ride in the back of my car. When I picked up my car there was dust in the back seat AGAIN! EVERY single time I have taken my car here to get whatever the issue is this time to get fixed, it is returned dirty, they could have my car for 30 minutes it's dirty, less than a day and it is dirty. Every single time, it comes back in worse condition than as when I left it here. If the technicians take such precautions to ensure the car doesn't get dirty I wouldn't have to spend at minimum an hour cleaning all my seats after each visit. Well besides the fact that the seat in the back where no one should be sitting to begin with being dirty. My window is still makes a noise that it didn't when I dropped it off the first time, oh and I'm the only owner on this car and since the day I bought it, it didn't make this noise. In addition the loaner car that I had also is the same make and model, 4 door versus my 2 door, but that window also doesn't make this noise. So I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is not normal. But hey I'm not technician so I guess I'm in the wrong here since I've only taken it here twice to repair the same issue, which both people including Rick the GM admitted is a problem. Since this final time Rick told me they did all that they could do to fix this issue, I will say the repair work here is terrible. If the solution to not being able to fix an issue that is admittedly an issue is they did everything they could, it means it was a bad repair. Again I've wasted time here, It's been a total of 4 times back to the repair shop for one body repair issue! In addition to the fact that I accumulated an issue that wasn't even an issue when I took my car in for repair. After wasting my time yet again, nothing has been fixed and I would never ever recommend this repair shop to anyone I know nor take my car back because my lifetime warranty at this point is worthless or rather a warranty to ensure me my car would get dirty while it's here to not get anything fixed. read more

After my baby was hit and needed some tlc my insurance company suggested Continental Collision and I have no regrets. They handled everything with my insurance and kept me updated once or twice a week letting me know the progress of the repairs. I trusted their team of mechanics with my vehicle and the repairs that needed to be made. They used Mazda parts and gave me a very detailed list of the repairs they made. As an update to the response from the business owner, I unfortunately have to say that Lonnie is now also lying about the conversations I had with him and the commitment he made. Lonnie did in fact agree to take our care back in August. He again agreed to take it when I spoke to him again a month or two after that. He also agreed to take the work just a few weeks ago when I talked to him in March. During our most recent conversation he checked the parts order and said that all of the parts needed for our car had been delivered and were in your possession (another lie??). His specific words when I spoke to him in March were "Ok, I cannot promise to get you in before the end of the week, and probably not before the end of the month, but I can get you in before the end of April." Lonnie even asked me to forward him the original claim info, and he asked me to speak with my insurance company again to let them know the work would be starting. Lonnie also never recommended a different shop. He only asked if I'd looked for anyone else to do the work and I said I had been referred to Continental and that I'd like to have you help us. He agreed, and he said ok. If he is telling you that he did not say any of this then he is also lying to you. I wrote down the details of my conversations with him when I would speak with him, and can tell you how many cars he would say were in front of us every time I would call to check in. He quite literally lied to me over the course of 9 months. I'm sorry that he is not being honest with you either. read more

Dan told us several times that "my people" at the shop had repaired an electronic component. Instead he had sent it Out to another dude who hooked it up wrong,!!!causing confusion and false finger pointed by Dan at the equipment and yet another vendor. Took my wife's Mercedes in after an unknown upstanding citizen smacked the back left quarter panel in a parking lot. Made an appointment and met with Dan...who was right on time. The estimate took place on a Monday afternoon and was complete in writing within twenty minutes. Because I drove in from over fifty miles away, he was able to contact my insurance company straight away and receive the go ahead for the repairs. I left it with them the same day, and he estimated approximately nine days from then for completion. I had to call Dan to pass along some updated insurance information the following day. I had to leave him a voice mail, but he promptly called me back within half hour. I was very pleased with the communication. I was contacted, to my surprise, the following Friday and informed that the vehicle was ready for pick up...several days ahead of schedule. It was parked and ready for a once over BEFORE I was asked to sign any paperwork...contrary to some of the reviews I've read on this particular site. The repairs were flawless! The entire vehicle had been detailed, and Bob (Dan was off that day) went over everything that had been done as we inspected it at the same time. He explained the paint warranty (as long as we own the vehicle basically) and answered all my questions. Paid special attention to any squeaks and noises that are sometimes leftover surprises after bodywork on the drive home. There were none! In other words...it was just as tight as it was when it left the dealership. All in all, we were 100% satisfied with Continental Collision. The majority of the work was done moderately well, and I will give them credit for repairing a significant collision that required a new front bumper and supports, but the experience and quality were lacking to the point I won't use Continental Collision again. I brought my 335 M Sport in per a family friends recommendation, I had a 15mph collision with a Jeep Cherokee that pulled out of a Starbucks without looking both ways. Pretty much all of the components on the front of the car needed to be replaced, although no mechanical damage was found, which was a relief. The initial experience was promising, and I left the shop with confidence that the repairs could be done within a reasonable time frame. I was told 2-3 weeks would be needed due to the volume of cars they were working on, and that was fine with me. As the end of the 3rd week approached, I began to reach out to my service rep to get updates, and thats when the experience started to take a dive. I don't blame CC for issues with the parts that the insurance approved for the repairs, they (state farm) wanted to use a bunch of refurbished and non-OEM equipment to keep the overall cost down, but the parts they used did not fit, or were wrong altogether. All of these decisions ultimately extended the repair time to 5-6 weeks, which would have been fine, but this was not communicated to me, and thus my rental car situation became a hassle to deal with because I did not know how long I needed the car for. They (CC) also did not seem to know how to aim my head lights properly, and ended up sending my car to another shop for them to do the calibration, but it was never quite right and my high and low beams were cockeyed afterwards. Eventually they told me my car was complete, and I showed up there afterwork to take possession of it. It was not ready, and I ended up having to stay there for about 2 hours before it was. I was finally able to inspect the repairs, and was not all that impressed. First, there was pretty large (4-5in) and deep scratch on my bumper that wasn't there before. There is no way whoever made it wouldn't have known, and I'm not saying it wasn't an accident, but it wasn't reported to the right people at CC. I pointed this out, and they checked the pictures taken before the repairs to confirm that the scratch wasn't there when I dropped the car off. I asked how something that big and obvious went unnoticed until the customer pointed it out, and was told that it was probably just and accident, and that they would fix it. Ok, how long will that take? At least 2 week to get to it because they had other cars to fix, brother why did I just go to the back of the line? I decided that the car was coming home with me. Once home I noticed another missed detail, the portion of the bumper that connected to the front right quarter panel had not been finished, and looked very hazy, this was about a 2ft section of the bumper. In fact the majority of the front bumper hadn't been polished, and had compounding swirls everywhere. I imaging the the two hours I spent waiting for the car were spent trying to hastily finish the paint, and this was the result. I ended up taking the car to a local detailer to fix the compounding/polishing issues because I didn't have confidence they (CC) would do it right, and payed for it out of pocket. I never ended up getting the scratch fixed either, and just sold the car the following year. This was all back in 2018, and the reason I write this review today is because I'm back in the market for a body shop to fix some damage my landscaper made after he backed into my new BMW :\. I remembered this experience, and thought I should share it while I figure out what shop I want to do business with. Thanks for listening to my TED talk. read more

DO NOT pay or sign anything allowing insurance to pay and DO NOT surrender your rental car until you have inspected your repaired vehicle and taken it for a TEST DRIVE! During the test drive, go over a bumpy arterial like Lamar or Burnet (40+ MPH) and listen for new rattles. Depending on the repair, you may also want to get the vehicle up to highway speeds to listen for any new whistling sounds due to air flowing around a misaligned door or window. They'll try to get you to pay or sign as soon as you walk in to pick up the car, but DO NOT DO THIS, and do not return your insurance-company-paid rental off until you've inspected and test driven your car and found it acceptable. They may tell you some story on the phone about having a loaner for warranty work, but when you get there, it won't happen. If they're doing the appraisal, be sure to take into account any sounds caused by the accident. Before you drop your car off, remove everything. Anything you leave in might be sat on or otherwise crushed. read more

The shops liability insurance is claiming an "act of god" and is forcing me to put the damage the car took while in their care on my own insurance policy. Do not take your car here! Nightmare of an experience. Do not trust Continental Collision. I scheduled my BMW repair several weeks in advance, and the day before I was supposed to bring it in they called and asked me to reschedule because they had a heavy workload. The day my car was supposed to be done, they called and said they found "another issue" (my temperature sensor) which would delay completion. The issue they claimed they found was not only one I explained over the phone the day I dropped the car off, it was also included in the written estimate from the insurance company. They kept delaying for almost a week, and although they said they would pay for two days of my car rental they never did. I arranged for after hours pick up and notified the receptionist as well as my agent multiple times that I had a spare key and to please not leave a key in the vehicle. It is clear that they don't include notes on the file because I had to explain this arrangement six different times. I ubered to the collision center the night my car was ready and they had forgotten to leave it outside, leaving me stranded and frustrated. To top it off, less than a month after the repairs my check engine light came on, I took it to the dealership for diagnosis and it was a faulty temperature sensor, which had been replaced by Continental Collision less than a month ago. I also discovered that they had the audacity to affix a permanent advertisement sticker to the inside of my car next to the auto data labels. Terrible service, terrible quality.
