Greg is really nice to deal with. He gave me a quote (very reasonable) and a day and time he could be here which was the same day. He called ahead and was very punctual. Greg is a true craftsmen, he knew exactly what needed to be done and got right to work and said it would take him about 30 minutes (it was actual 20). Greg cleaned up and I couldn't fine even one shard of glass left behind. Greg's quote plus tax was spot on with no surprise fees and no up sales. I don't know why Armadillo Auto Glass wasn't the first business listed on Yelp, no one else had anywhere close to 200 5 star reviews and now there is one more 5 star review, mine!!! Had to share a good experience with a vendor from today, in case anybody ever needs them: Armadillo Auto Glass came to my office in Round Rock and repaired 2 small dings that I got in my work vehicle windshield from a pebble that the truck in front of me kicked up while I was working at the coast this week. No fuss, no muss...he was done in less than 30 minutes AND repaired my employee's windshield ding for a reduced price because he was already here! He took my credit card with no problem and had a receipt ready to go when he left. I am very impressed. I was driving on 183 and heard what sounded like a gunshot. Nope, just lucky me. Or more like my luck had finally run out and whatever hit my windshield not only took out a big chunk, it also started to spider the glass... I went to Yelp and saw awesome reviews for Armadillo Auto Glass. I called, left a message, they were having some issues with their phones. But Thomas (?) called me the next day, very apologetic. They were booked up on Friday. But came exactly within the timeframe- on the early end!- that they quoted me on Monday. Super quick install, price was as quoted. My oil change and registration stickers were replaced and it was good as new. The reviews are real. Had my windshield replaced with them- they did a good job, were nice and on time. But, the windshield included a rear view mirror attachment which broke. They came out to repair and reported that it was affixed incorrectly. They fixed it, which was great, but it broke again less than a year later. I called again to have them repair or even buy a new windshield if needed because they had been helpful before, even though quality was as lacking. They reported they would be out within the week and would give me a call. They failed to do that or respond to my follow up calls for scheduling. Poor quality and customer service! read more

It was the friendliest, down to earth, easiest (spoke with an actual person immediately, scheduled for the next day and completed within 2 hours!) and most importantly, the most affordable (I paid out of pocket) to get my glass replaced. I asked for and received exactly what I requested and here we are 2 weeks later, and all is still good, it has rained, and I have driven over potholes and everything is fine! Thank you for existing and for NOT( charging exorbitant prices and for NOT making customers wait months!! I had originally reached out to Safelite and even paid for my glass in April and waited first until May then until June then August for the glass to arrive from somewhere far away (another dimestion it seems)...at which point I called and since they kept changing the date I asked for my money back, which was almost twice as much as Armadillo!!! highly recommended should you end up (heavens forbid!) with a tree falling on your car or a break in. We ordered passenger glass replacement, and while at work they replaced my tinted glass with clear glass. When we complained that now driver and passenger glass do not match, they told us that that is not their business. They just replace glass and nothing else. Now, I am not sure if the glass is even tempered. It may be a hazard to drive with this glass. What a waste of money. Now I have to do it again. read more
