The technicians got my windshield installed in less than two hours, and made sure I checked it out before they left. They also hauled off the old windshield which was just part of the service. I had a few questions before the actual appointment and everyone was super kind, professional and helpful. It's been several months, and the windshield is holding up great too! Edit: the price was closer to $700, and at least $500 less than my dealership. While they used an after market windshield, I don't care for the savings. read more

Glass Brothers really left us disappointed and shocked amid expecting good service from reading reviews. We could not believe the series of bad & unprofessional incidents that happened during their multiple visits! ***Please read: WARNING before you call them for business! We hope you don't have this terrible, unprofessional experience*** 1. Their technician BROKE & STOLE our driveway light: they backed up their truck into our driveway light, did NOT tell us about running it over, then STOLE/TOOK the light with them! They didn't even have the professionalism to notify us, my husband found the light missing. We confronted them later and the owner had to apologize and said he didn't know why that happened. Totally untrustworthy. 2. Their technicians BROKE my car dashboard mirror off my car! After they were done, a technician rang my doorbell and said: "We have bad news, we broke your mirror" holding the mirror he knocked off in his hand. They said they could replace it - what a joke. They brought another one to install that was from a junk yard, scratched up and old. I complained and said that's unacceptable to the owner, he said they'd find the correct one (make/model). He said he finds random ones. They have NOT replaced the mirror with the correct one. Ridiculous. 3. The windshield they replaced on our SUV has an AIR GAP and wind/noise sounds constantly come in when you are driving at a higher speed. This is absolutely frustrating & was not an issue before! I mentioned this to the owner when they had to come out for multiple visits, and his solution was: "let me drive it around and see." Not the right reply to this issues they created. 4. Their technicians put our windshield wipers on INCORRECTLY and FACING THE WRONG DIRECTION! The windshield wipers were facing the wrong direction after replacing the windshield, and it rained that week and we were put in danger when we realized they were not working properly and making a crazy sound. ANOTHER MISTAKE! Glass Brothers has provided an experience that is truly a waste of our time, yes the windshield was ultimately replaced - but at what cost with the other issues that didn't exist that they created? They were nonchalant about their mistakes, dishonest about what to expect, and unprofessional in their behavior for a paid service. Last night someone smashed a rear door window on my car. The joke was on them though, there wasn't anything valuable in it unless they wanted my spare dollar store sunglasses in the glove box (apparently they didn't).. I called the shop shortly after 8am, and Fernando even called back a couple of hours later to update me on the status of the glass (it had to be brought down from north Austin). Shortly after noon the guys showed up and replaced the window, and even vacuumed out all the glass debris in the back seat. The best part was they even replaced it with an already tinted window, so it still matches the others! That was very cool. Anyway.. they were professional, polite, didn't take a long time, the price they quoted was exactly what was charged to my card, and they came to my apartment parking lot to do the work. One thing that really stood out is their ability to recalibrate my vehicle after replacing the windshield. Cars have so much software these days that you can't just replace a windshield without having to recalibrate all the settings. First off, I called and someone quickly answered. A rarity. Adam was very patient with my questions and very confident and informative with his answers. I was concerned about the rain and lane change sensors in the windshield. The dealer told me they needed to be recalibrated after a windshield replacement. Generally, every customer wants a product or service that solves their problem, worth their money, and is delivered with amazing customer service. I contacted Glass Brothers last week because they came and installed a windshield in my Prius and did an expert job about 4 months ago. I became a repeat customer because the first time I called around, they were the low cost provider with excellent reviews, and provided mobile service at no additional cost. Customers don't expect you to be perfect. They do expect you to fix things when they go wrong. On my second time doing business with them, there was a problem of excessive wind noise entering my Mercedes' cabin from the windshield. Adam came out and diagnosed that repair was needed under their warranty. Fernando came out with a helper and fixed my windshield to tip-top shape! Glass Brothers follows my credo on customer service to the T. A customer is the most important visitor on your premises, he is not dependent on you. You are dependent on him.
