Quick, easy, affordable. And I can see through the windshield with no wind and water in my face. I don't know what else to say.

Spoke with David through Yelp who helped me quickly see if they could service my Tesla Model 3 sunroof. Even though it was the weekend and night time I got a response and was able to take my car in first thing Monday morning. Got my car back the same day at 4pm. Really appreciate the prompt service that was reasonably priced! Only odd part was they share a storefront with another auto company, and their store name wasn't well labeled. I double checked with David who quickly explained they shared. Wish I knew that ahead of time but otherwise everything was smooth! read more

I found david because I brought my car into Promising Auto Wash when I was over in Pflugerville. I had a crack in my wind shield. And when I realized they did glass.I asked david to give me a quote. This quote was very competitive and I booked an appointment on the spot for the next morning. When I dropped the car off he literally was picking up the glass and did the change out within an hour and a half. Great job Great responsive communicator. Great price. Highly recommend read more

Quick, great communication, fair price, and excellent work replacing my front windows and windshield.

David and his business were exceptional and went above and beyond to get my windshield replaced at the best price in town. Convenient, traveled to my work location and made sure that I was completely satisfied with the work. My car looks like it did when I purchased it. Would use their service again. Highly recommend. read more

Promising Auto Glass - Auto Glass Services Near Me - Austin, Texas

David did an amazing job fixing a smashed in window at an affordable price point, which is very hard to find in Austin. Many other auto glass companies either quoted me hundred or more dollars or had no information on their websites/yelp pages. David also went above and beyond to make sure I had my window fixed in a timely manner. There was a problem with the distributor's glass replacement and David called me immediately to let me know and game plan a backup, which he was able to provide the very next day. So thankful for the reliable and customer-centered practices of Promising Auto Glass!! read more

David not only has the most competitive pricing but has super fast response time and quality work! I reached out about a mobile windshield replacement one evening and he replied within minutes and was able to come the same week! Super simple and easy, took about an hour and a half and easy to pay online. Would recommend Promising Auto Glass over others! read more

This guy is a total SCAM!!! We get to the shop and the guy doesn't work there and is no where to be found. Asking the employees it seems he just comes there. Tells me to leave the car on a sketchy garage with no receipt, no document and with someone else that works there. I call David and he says that is "very normal". I told him I don't feel comfortable leaving my car without papers or receipts, and he says that I can just take the car and leave. 10 "really good" reviews on Yelp. I am sure these are all cousins. This guy is a joke and I want to warn everyone about this sketchy service. Save your money!! read more

I highly recommend Promising Auto to replace your windshield! Out of 10 places I called or got quotes from, he was the most reasonable. The price he quoted is what you pay. No last-minute added credit card charges or tax; it's included. He was very responsive and got me in the next day to replace my windshield. I have the heads-up display, and it looks better than the company that replaced my windshield the first time. He finished earlier than the wait time he quoted me as well. Overall, I am pleased and would 100% go back to him if I need any other service. read more

Best price in town AND good people. Also fit me in on the same day:D Def worth your time to let them give u a quote!!

Seamless experience! Booked on Monday or so, they had an opening Friday morning. Brought my car in at 9 am for a new windshield and they were done by 11:20am. Price exactly as quoted and cheaper than safelight. Wholeheartedly recommend this shop, they're excellent. read more

Do not go anywhere else! These are the amazing people that will get the job done at an affordable price. A huge rock hit my windshield badly on my Lexus and I got 4 different quotes. All the way up to $500 from people that obviously didn't care and we're just trying to charge me the most for the type of luxury car I owned these awesome men quoted me the most affordable price 3x cheaper then what other were quoting and got it done the quickest thank you so much and the windshield also came with a warranty which gave me so much more piece of mind thank you so much for easing my stress read more

My husband had a great experience replacing his car's windshield with David so I decided to take my Tesla M3 to him. To be honest, I was a little worried about having trouble with the autopilot or wipers after the replacement but David did such an awesome job with the installation and calibration that I did not have any problems at all. He is very professional and responsive. His quotes are very competitive. I'd highly recommend him read more

Its a drive down from Cedar Park but we'll worth it. The right windshield installed for a lot less. Service CE was courteous and professional. Pro tip, the sign is a bit small and easy to miss while driving, parking a little tight. Great value. read more

David was friendly and knowledgeable about the windshield he replaced on my vehicle. Arrived on time at the location on Burnet and the process took an hour and 15 minutes. My daughters car was broken into last night. Promising Auto Glass responded to the request within minutes. They gave an estimate and confirmed the glass was in stock. She dropped the car off this morning and the work was completed quickly and responsibly. Not being in the area to help my daughter it is a big relief to deal with someone that was honest and reliable. Thank You! read more

I requested quotes from the 3 highest rated auto glass repair/replacement businesses near me and Promising Auto was the most prompt and professional in their reply. Of the 3 quotes Promising was right in the middle, not the lowest or the highest. I inquired on a Tuesday mid morning although they had one appointment that afternoon I opted for an appointment on Friday afternoon that same week. The morning of my appointment I received a text to confirm my appointment, always appreciate the reminder. My husband actually dropped off and picked up the car but said it was quick and easy, everyone he interacted with was polite. The replacement windshield was installed and calibrated in under two hours and the invoice was sent to my phone where I was able to easily pay it via square. I really cannot recommend Promising Auto Glass enough. Should another rock fly off a truck and crack my windshield to bits, I'll definitely return to them. read more

Promising Auto Glass - The owner of Promising Auto Glass and a satisfied customer on the right! - Auto Glass Services Near Me - Austin, Texas

I would recommend Promising Auto Glass over any other Auto Glass company. I was immediately contacted after I put a quote request out. With options in regards to prices. Totally reasonable. They came out right away and we're on time. Because I was so busy, I told them the wrong window side. Instead of making a situation worse, they went out of their way to assure that the window was replaced. Being that the van that had a broken window is a work vehicle and it was vital that it be replaced immediately. Promising Auto Glass live up to their name. They promised to be there and replace a broken window. That's exactly what they did and then some. Great business and work ethics. Thank you very much for coming through and fixing the problem. We really appreciate it. Sincerely, Michelle Martens read more

Fantastic service! David is the owner and the person who replaced my windshield, he is a professional. It couldn't have gone any smoother. He was on time, clear communication, gave me an exact time it would take to replace the windshield, and finished the job quick! My windshield looks great. He was also able to reinstall my rain sensors that another company had taken off! He is honest with his pricing! Trustworthy owner, family business. I will only use this company in the future! read more

David is the real deal. He was bar far the cheapest option but the windshield is brand new and the work is covered under warranty. David is also incredibly kind and helpful. He's just a good dude. One thing to know, for some reason Google takes you to the back of the address. He works out of the Longhorn Automotive garage. It's just south of Flyrite Chicken. I will never go anywhere else to get my windshield done. read more

David was great to work with. He is a one man show and there's a lot of advantages with that. He takes great pride in his business. David C. of Promising Auto Glass responded promptly and quoted me a very reasonable price (considerably less than many other Yelp quotes). He shares space with another garage on Burnet Rd, which contributes to the lower overhead, no doubt [so ignore the reviewer who can't seem to grasp that distinction, i.e., "he doesn't work there" ]. The work was done promptly (about 1.5 hours) and with care, and I received a detailed Receipt upon completion. read more
