I think it literally took you 5m to do. I get that. However it kind of goes back to what I was saying - why put the groupon out there in the first place if the job is a pain and you just end up doing sloppy work? I see the pit still there everyday - I would have preferred you charge me $25 and have it filled correctly where it's barely visible. Quick response time from Magic Glass, they showed up when they said they would. Work took a little over an hour, and the tech pointed out a few issues with the previous windshield install (old windshield was delaminated). So far, so good with the new install, I lightly hand-washed the car about 72 hours after the install and the interior stayed dry. I'll update this review once we have a proper rainstorm. read more

This is my review of the windshield repair. Had my windshield repaired my Magic Glass on 2/15. First the technician left pieces of glass all over my dash and passenger seat. Pieces that could cause a flat tire or serious cut. But the biggest issue was during the repair the technician was using a small ladder to help him during the installation. Two days later I noticed two dents on the passenger side front tire wall just below my window. I called the company that Monday and they said they would file a claim and someone would contact me about getting this repaired. I've yet to hear from Magic Glass. Save yourself the headache and contact a better company for your windshield repair. I've sent pics of the dent and the video of when his ladder banged up against my truck and also video of the technician actually sitting on my hood. If this is how this company operates and does repairs they won't be in business long. If for some miracle they do step up to the plate and fix the dent, I'll update my review. Do not work with this company, for many reasons: 1) They forgot my appointment - TWICE! I took an entire day off of work and sat at home waiting for them. When I called to check their status, they totally forgot speaking with me and did not have my appointment in the books. We set a new appointment for the next day, when I took off from work yet again, and NO SHOWED all over again!! 2) When they finally did remember my appointment, they put on the WRONG PART/WRONG GLASS so now my car will not recalibrate. 3) The owner assured me he would call the next day to get it fixed and told me not to worry. I didn't trust him and of course I was right. It's been two days and I have not heard a peep from them. I already paid them the money so it's beyond frustrating and unacceptable what they are doing. I made the mistake of filling out their quote form. I have a Nissan Frontier that needs a new windshield. This is a super common windshield with no electronics or sensors and it hasn't changed since 2005. Yes, 16 years without a production change, it is one of the most boring windshields for one of the most boring trucks ever produced, it should take 15 seconds or less to tell me how much it costs. Literally dozens of calls and texts from different numbers claiming to be Magic Glass in the same day, Gabby, Chris, Kip, and 1 or 2 others, and not one message did they provide a quote, they just want me to call in. I felt like I got on some debt collector's list. And here's the thing, I was at work all day so couldn't answer a personal call. They could have told me the cost around 100 times over for the length of messages and texts they sent in a single day. So basically, they just want everyone to call in so they can perform a hard sale, that's my guess. But, no thanks, taking my business to someone who can be upfront about their pricing and reasonable about their communication attempts. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Unless you want your car PERMANENTLY FLOOD DAMAGED. MOLD IN MY CAR. For starters, I had the same trouble as a few others mentioned here where they no showed my first appointment and I also took off work and waited around on them. Rescheduled with them, and then they didn't seal my windshield properly. The next week it rained and one day I got in my car and my floorboard had standing water in it. Sure enough, we found the windshield wasn't sealed properly. They had the same tech come out to fix his mistake and give me a new windshield again and they said they'd take care of us but sure enough here we are 6 months later and can't get anyone to take accountability for RUINING my car. Also, the tech tried to tell me it was my sunroof LOL!!! Weird, because it's rained since my windshield was replaced a second time and I never had standing water in my car after that or before for that matter. Hired them to replace my windshield. Both of my windshield seal panels were broken during the replacement and the sales rep never once disclosed that was a possibility and quoted us for it. So after speaking with the rep she said they would cover those replacement. I waited 2 weeks for Them to call about the parts So I finally called and they never even ordered the part. So they finally placed the order and told me to meet them a few days later. Mind you I love out of their zone yet they agreed to take my service in the first place and I drove 45 minutes every time to meet them. So they never call it show up and I fin get ahold of them after hours and they don't have the part yet. So I have to wait another 2 weeks till my schedule allows me to drive the 45 minutes out of town during Their working hours. When the techs pull up they were confused b/c the vehicle showing up on their end was to service a truck... i drive a Kia soul mind you. So I finally get my seal panels replaced but I noticed one of the techs was having a hard time putting it on. Gets it on (I guess) the. Says I still have a balance due. I tell them that's not what the sales rep told me and if I was still going to be charged that amount that I would've ordered the parts myself for the same price they were charging me and not had had waiting WEEKS and wasted all that time and gas. The tech was Basically like whatever and let it go. but it's been a few days since the seals were replaced and one of them has flown off and gone entirely. I heard back from my rep Mike Deezy super quick via text (my preferred method per the info gather during the intake process). After a brief call we went back and forth on potential recommendations, he shared photos to help me understand my options. We had used Ron at Magic Glass Repair last year and thought he was STELLAR! However, it has been probably about a year since we last needed his services. The last time he was here we told him we were going to replace the windshield (old/pitted) on our Dodge Truck and he understood what we wanted and gave a reasonable price. We called him two weeks ago....and.... The phone was answered by someone sounding young and well....who just didn't give a hoot/unprofessional. My husband explained he only wanted Ron to come out and what we wanted and in a week we did not hear back. He called again a week later and received the same person/attitude on the phone who then said that Ron was more into management now and didn't really go out and do work but he would pass on the message.
