Yikes - I got a tiny ping on wind shield coming back from the coast - within a couple days I had a crack forming across my wind shield. It was way beyond a repair - I needed a total windshield replacement. Yikes again, this was my first experience with an Auto Glass vendor. I reached out to several vendors on-line - requesting quotes/replacement times, etc. Ivan + RJ - Rick's Auto Glass were the first to reply. They were very professional, prompt, provided me with a very reasonable quote, date and time options for installation. I scheduled a replacement at my residence, Ivan/RJ followed up the "day of" and confirmed of time. They also texted me 30 minutes out - hey- we are on our way. When they arrived, they provided me with a full accounting on the installation process, that it would take approximately 45 minutes/1 hour and a very valuable detail - which I didn't have on my radar - my vehicle registration tag - they assured me; it would be transferred to the new wind shield without being compromised. I had a ugly cracks in windshield for YEARS due to driving back and fourth from Austin to the Rio Grande Valley and of course... I-35! Other places quoted me $300+ and were not really responsive or just rude sometimes and in one case never answered my calls or messages! Rick installed the wrong glass on my vehicle. I paid full price for a windshield that is not correct for my vehicle. I asked Rick to pay half of the correct window and install it and he refused. He said that I would have to pay for the new window. He failed to run my vin# to purchase the correct glass. I am very unhappy with this company. A professional would of at least asked me for the vin. I do not recommend this company. You will pay more then double even when it is his mistake. read more
