When you get a surprise by an Auto Mechanic or Body Shop it is usually not a Good one. In this case it was a Great surprise. My wife was rear ended on Christmas Eve. The damage was not extensive, but we needed to get it repaired. I did not have any shop that I knew of to take to get my estimates. I Googled it and went to a few. By far the best feeling I got was when I stopped here. David the owner and his son quickly went out and gave me an estimate and told me about how long it would take to make the repairs. I love doing business with Family-owned businesses, so this was going to be my spot for the repairs. I went back on 1/3/23 and gave him a deposit. He ordered the parts while I was still in his shop and said he would get my new bumper painted and would call me when it was ready to be installed. I got a call today and he said it was ready to be installed if I could come by the shop. I have heard so many horror stories about shop taking your car and keeping it for months for repairs. I took my 1972 Volkswagen there on June 4 for an estimate to have the body and paint restored. David seemed extremely knowledgeable and eager to do the work. He said it would take about three months. Pay half now and the other half when the job is completed. He said it would cost at least $10,000. He sent me a rough estimate a couple hours later ($15.1k plus parts that I would supply as we previously agreed). The line item for, "parts" was $8000. When I inquired, he told me that was the line item for labor to take apart and put the car back together. So his software does not accurately capture the expense. He said he would write a letter sometime later to clarify. About six hours later, or approximately 8:30 PM, I noticed a sales tax charge of over $800. This was a reflection of money for paint - - legitimate, and the $8000 to take apart and put the car back together. I inquired about this as well. Unfortunately, the email did not send until 3 o'clock in the morning. Below is the cut and paste of his email on the morning of June 5: "Look mark I'm happy not doing the job this is Generic estimate I told you I will fix a different one but im gonna pass on this work I don't need the money or the hard time there is nothing in this world that will make you happy and I don't need the hassle thank you and have a blessed day." I responded to his email and pointed out that it was inappropriate and unprofessional. Below is his second response.: "I'm sorry for the rude response but 3am a email. Think we will be both better off not doing business together. I'm stubborn. And your stubborn, it don't make sense. thank you." I am reading that David sent an apology for being rude, and in the same message, then accused me of being stubborn. Does anyone else see a problem? This body shop may do excellent work. David may be a man of integrity. He may be fully committed to doing a great job. I don't know. However, when a service provider responds like this to a customer, it should raise a red flag. I had to ask myself if I wanted someone with this attitude toward me, to work on my 52 year-old vintage Volkswagen Super Beetle? My answer is, "No." read more

We had a horrible hailstorm and both my wife's and my car had severe damage. My wife's windshield was smashed, and she did not feel comfortable driving it. On October 5th, 2023, we had my wife's car towed to Pflugerville Auto Body after calling and they stated that they would be happy to look at and repair the hail damage. We would repair one car at a time. The owner of the business informed us that it would take about 2 weeks for repair and feel free to call for any updates along the way. On October 19th my wife called for an update and the owner was very rude and short with her stating that he had many cars and that the insurance was not responding to his request for supplemental. My wife offered to assist and this person yelled and was very disrespectful at her stating that she was being sarcastic. My wife had to hang up with him and came home in tears. I went to visit on Monday Oct 23 for an update. I found the car in the same spot and condition that it was dropped off in. After being asked for an explanation for his behavior towards my wife he became extremely rude with much profanity directed towards my wife and vehicle. He offered to have me take the vehicle of his lot if I did not care for the way he was treating us with such disrespect and profanity. I agreed to take my vehicle back as I did not want to do business with the likes of this type of person. He then explained that he had cashed the original check that he received from the insurance just a couple days after receiving the car. He cashed the insurance check for repairs to my car of which he had not even seen and cashed the supplemental insurance check for my wife's that he claims took too long. He had not even started any repairs on my wife's vehicle. He then told me I would have to take him to court to get the money back. He then could not find the keys so he then informed me that I would not be able to take the car. I would have to call the police if I had a problem. I then called the local sheriff who arrived at which time he found the keys, and I was able to take my car. Profanity pouring from his mouth the entire interaction. This company stole over $20,000 dollars without any work completed. The insurance company is attempting to capture the money. I had spoken to the claims adjuster that he had left one message with regarding the supplemental and she stated that out of the 25 years that she had worked to Farmers, this was the most rude and disrespectful message that she had ever received. They were unbelievably rude and disrespectful to myself and my family. I also feel bad for his kids that all witnessed this as to an example of how to run a business. He did state that he has cameras that capture the entire conversation. I would love for him to be so transparent as to share the footage as to show his customer's his true colors. Avoid this business. I hope this saves you from having to have a similar experience as mine. Car repair is stressful enough. You should not have to deal with such disrespectful thieves. read more

When it came down to the work being done, he wanted me to pay the full amount upfront without any service being done and completely diverted from the original timeline that he quoted me. After leaving a review, he called me threatening and harassing me as if I'm not entitled to give my perspective to the situation. I took my business elsewhere and I'm overjoyed that I did. I paid over $3300 and I supplied the paint. He purchased about $300 in replacement parts. The towing company told me they were not impressed with the paint job but I had seen it briefly before and thought it looked OK. Once it arrived back at my house I fully inspected it and it is just not a good job. Especially when he's charging top dollar. I could've bought a new Vespa for $3300. Also the bike cane back with a snapped break line. Sad. Sad. Sad. Don't waste your money going here. I think pictures are worth more than words so I attached them too. I took my car to Pflugerville Auto Body in October of 2022 after some serious body damage to my 2020 Subaru forester. They were very quick with the repair which I appreciated at the time, but little did I know it would be one of the biggest headaches I would ever endure with a car. After their repair, my AC and heating quickly stopped working and my engine started overheating which lead to additional damages. I took my car to a Subaru dealership to have it looked at and they still found severe damage to the car including in the engine valve and the bushings of the car. To directly quote the foreman at Subaru "it looks like a bunch of clowns worked on your car". As of today I finally finished paying off $4500 in repair costs due to these bozos shoddy work. The foreman at Subaru even suggested I try making a claim with the better business bureau and possibly suing this shop because of their terrible work. I ended up not pursuing litigation due to certain circumstances, but part of me really wishes I had. The owner and his employees are also incredibly unprofessional - when I initially gave the owner the check from insurance for the repairs, it was in a rundown office building where everyone was smoking indoors and sitting around. When I tried getting in contact with the owner multiple times to try to get him to admit fault and pay me back for their awful work, he was conveniently out of town every time I called the shop and eventually they stopped answering me. If you ever consider this shop for your repairs I URGE you to RUN not walk away. read more

DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE!! If yelp allowed me to give them 0 stars, I would! A family member of Pflugerville Auto Body's owners approached me in a parking lot regarding repairs to the left side damage to my Acura MDX. I decided to give them a try because they're family owned and they offered to cover my rental car. I was in a bind because I didn't have rental coverage and they completely took advantage of that. I dropped the vehicle off to them on May 26, 2020 and picked it back up on June 19, 2020 to find the repair to be reprehensible. The initial damage was created when I scraped a cement block in my blind spot and it messed up the left front, left rear, and left quarter panel. The car still looks beat up. They used a material called "Bondo" to fill the doors and it has left pores in multiple places on the doors. The paint job is so poor there are paint runs, paint splatters, and the paint began yellowing within a week. They created new damage by getting overspray all over the door seal, window glass panels, and other areas. The left side mirror is loose and shakes when I drive, obscuring my view. The left front door is misaligned and doesn't close and seal properly. They have created scratches on the chrome that frames the window. There is STILL original damage to the inside of the driver's door. Whatever method they used to repair the damage of the door jam is not even finished. It's rough and grainy. They messed up my fuel door because they said their "rivet gun broke" so it's no longer flush with the car. According to the estimate done by Caliber Collision in review of PAB's work, PAB has welded through the steel rod in the left rear door making the vehicle no longer safe if impacted on that side. When I reached out after picking up the vehicle and they initially agreed to fix whatever I had issues with, but when my insurance provider stepped in to mediate David Adams lied and told the claim manager that I was okay with the repairs because I intended to collect the difference from the insurance payout which is an absolute lie! I did not request any money from them nor did I accept any money apart from the money to cover a rental car. read more

If i could give this place ZERO stars I would! Got into a bad wreck, and was referred to the shop in pflugerville. when i showed up to initially get my car worked on the owner was not there, i had to call and wait for him for about an hour before he showed up. He went over all of the things he would fix on my car including airbags, body work, front end work and reprogramming my toyota since all of the lights were on from the wreck, he told me it would be $7,000 cash half the money now and half after the work was completed and it would take him a month to fix. after paying him half i waited the month for the work to be completed. On the day i was told to come pick up the vehicle he was still saying he needed more time and to wait a day or two more which to me sounded weird because he had already kept the car for a whole month, so after waiting i came to pick up the car finally and when i showed up the car looked fine initially, he told me there was one part he needed to fix on the car that he didn't which was why the lights were still on have so he gave me $100 back saying it was the wheel speed sensor from the $7000 i gave him and said that was how much the part cost and all i needed. when i got back to my car to leave my headlights wouldn't turn on so he came to spend another 45 minutes trying to get the lights to turn on, since it was getting late and i wasn't able to see anything wrong when i drove off the lot. he said the car was safe to drive so i tried her him and headed home, on the way home it started to rain and my windshield wipers weren't working, all my lights on my dash came on and ended up finding out it was the shitty wiring that was done, my a/c wasn't working i let him know he told me just to buy some anti freeze but that wasn't the issue so i wasted more money doing that, he put the wrong compressor in my car the bolts were wrong on my front end, there was stuff missing from my car that was stolen, there's no padding under my hood of the car, the airbags are rusted and used and don't work, the sensors weren't replaced , my seatbelt was replaced with used seatbelt so it doesn't work and now i have to replace that, the paint job is two totally different color from the original paint, the welding was rusted and shitty or painted over! he messed up my car bad! i had to spend another 2,000 on fixing what he didn't fix and was told would get fixed. after reaching out to the owner David several times he has not responded or tried to fix anything that was messed up. Update to my last review. After successfully completing a small paint job I decided I'd give these guys a shot at repairing the damage from my accident. The whole experience was pretty bad. The paint had bubbles in it and was inconsistent and wavy. It's hard to see in broad daylight in their yard but obvious once I got it home and inspected it closer. My back windshield somehow mysteriously was broken while sitting in their yard. He wanted me to help him pay for the replacement which I wound up splitting with him. They blamed it on some malfunction I've never experienced before or after. Didn't even remove all the glass from my cab or bed. Dents were left in the bed ridge line from some 300lb dude leaning on my truck while they were working on it. I was told my truck kept starting on its own while sitting in their shop. (Probably because my keys were smashed in somewhere which is why they looked all worn and smashed when I got them back) Hasn't done that before or after so who knows. My rear axle was supposed to be replaced and if I hadn't checked I would have paid for them not doing it. MAKE SURE YOU INSPECT EVERY REPAIR YOURE PAYING FOR. David worked out a cash deal and gave me back some money so that was ok I guess. Although he huffed and puffed about "not making any money on my repair"Greasy hand marks all over my headliner. My steering column was damaged by them and they could not repair it, now it only locks in the lowest position otherwise it floats freely while driving. Overspray all over my door columns adjacent to the repairs. Took it back, and homeboy just grabbed a rag with some mineral spirits on it and used it on my paint. This place is barely a professional shop. Sub par painting, incomplete repairs, and they actually caused damage to my vehicle while it was in their yard. Ass cracks hanging out everywhere and you get a shady feeling while his gaggle of children sit there surrounding you while you're handling the details and paperwork. They whisper behind your back and chuckle while you're talking to the owner and it gives you the impression they're trying to cheat you. I left them a 5 star for some very simple painting of fender flares, but I'll never recommend them for full repairs. I'd imagine you're lucky if you get your vehicle back without experiencing any of what I just listed. read more

I'm literally crying happy tears as I sit here and type this and wishing that I could give David and his son's more stars. I have a Toyota Corolla that looked almost hopeless when it left my house. She sat in our garage for almost 5 years, since the day that she was wrecked. I couldn't let her go because she is sentimental to me and because there was nothing wrong with anything under the hood. These folks are fantastic... I had rear-ended a Silverado pickup truck in my "brand-new" (2016) Toyota Corolla, causing about $5000 worth of damage to the front-end. I was actually approached in the HEB parking lot by an employee of Pflugerville Auto Body who saw my damage, gave me their business card and told me that they could handle the whole thing including dealing with my insurance company and covering any deductible (which turned out to only be $500 but they were prepared to do it for up to I believe a $1000 deductible). They drove me home from their shop after I dropped it off and picked me up from my home when it was ready. They made sure to keep in close touch with us with daily updates on their progress, the work was complete in only 3 days and the car looks and drives like new. We had even been running on a doughnut-spare tire and not only did they replace it with a brand new tire completely of their own volition but they also replaced the driver's side mirror, again without even having been asked, which had been damaged in a completely separate incident - that's the kind of people these folks are! read more
