Had a good experience here in June, 2024. We brought our vehicle here to correct work that was not done at the initial shop we tried. I worked with Ricardo, and he was able to work with our insurance company to fix our Subaru Outback properly. He really advocated for us to get the insurance to cover all the repairs that the previous shop neglected. The car came out clean and the tail gate was good as new. This place is run by the old Terex body shop. They repaired some hail damage to my car about 9 months ago and had to replace almost the entire body of the car. They were horrible to deal with. Never gave me updates. Never called me back. I ran out of car rental days. Took over two months to get my car back. It was a hassle. Fast forward to today my roof is LEAKING. Water is pouring in through my child's side of the car when it rains. Their response? The only person that will talk to me is the receptionist who says they will call me back. She told me that the manager said it's not under warranty because they sold Terex. However these same people still work there even down to the receptionist that I spoke to. My insurance paid them 19,000 to fix my car and won't address this leak. These people should not be trusted with your car. read more

Our car ended up being totaled. Terex kept us updated every step of the way and provided pictures and information. They told us what they could do if we decided to fix the vehicle anyway regardless of insurance and as they uncovered more extensive damage even advised us that they wouldn't recommend fixing what had happened and keep the integrity/safety of the vehicle. They made zero money off me but looked out for my family's safety. I will 100% use them for any body work needed in the future. Their integrity, honesty and work ethic was A+. read more

The only reason I'm giving them the third star was because they detailed my car really well which was nice and the finished product was well done. And I realize you could argue "Well the end product is all that matters", but I found myself frustrated with the lack of communication and uncertainty of the staff. I understood that it could have taken up to 7 business days to repair my vehicle but I wish they would've called me with updates. Instead, I had to call them every few days for them to tell me the adjuster would get back to me but never did. Terex just completed auto body repair on the rear of my Ford truck. This was an insurance claim from a person that ran into the back of my truck. I am so pleased with the work Terex did. I had never heard of this company and wasn't sure I wanted to take a chance with them but the other party's insurance was paying for the repairs and had me get my initial estimate at Terex. I had always had repairs done at my dealership but Terex was so friendly and helpful during the estimate process I decided to take a chance with them. Wow, what a great job they did on the bodywork. They vacuumed out all the broken glass and my car looks better than it did prior to the incident! They even painted a small portion of the damage free of charge. Worst experience I have ever had at a body shop. Car was broken into 2 months after I bought it, this was in August 2023 (Dodge Durango Hellcat). Called them immediately and set up and appointment with them and my insurance. They ordered parts, but in the middle of September 2023, we had a bad hail storm, so they told me I would have to wait because they were busy with hail customers. I said why would I have to wait when I was there before the hail storm even hit. They slipped up and said it was because they make more from PDR (paint-less dent removal), so I went to the back of the line. They let me take it in in early October to "fix" everything. Then found out they didn't have all the parts, because they were NEVER ordered. While my car was there, they had a new person try their hand a buffing, their first time, on my brand new $110k car (2023 Dodge Durango Hellcat). See pics, there was no damage to the back quarter panel, but somehow there were now swirl marks all over the back. Told them about that and took it back a month later. only for them not the have all the parts, still. It is now Thanksgiving, and I call the week after, so end of November, and find out that they haven't even ordered all the parts for my car yet. Remember, this started in August, now we are in December. They said they STILL hadn't ordered any parts for my car. Finally, middle of December, they say they are ready with all parts. Took it to them, for another week, this is a total of 6 weeks at their shop, and then they said they were done. Took pictures of the NEW swirl marks on the door now! Took it back to them in January, said they "took care of all the swirl marks). I take it back and show them and they said, "I cant see anything", go ahead and take a look in the pics and tell me if you can see anything. And I am NOT a body shop or paint expert. Took it back for the 6th time to fix it and some other things like the scuff marks they made on my door that they said, "were already there.". Well, it was a brand new car, so no, they were not already there. Also to fix a scratch in the leather that was never there to begin with. Took it back a final time in February to show them the scratch that was STILL there from the original break in and they said they would take care of it. It is now the middle of April, 2 months later, and nothing from them. I still have the swirl marks on the door and it looks worse than when it got broken into. Go ahead, call them and ask them about the Durango Hellcat. They ALL know about it and the comedy of errors they pulled on me. So, here we are, 8 months later, after the original appointment, and my car is STILL not fixed. Go there if you dare...........but it's in your best interest to find somewhere else to take any car to get fixed. See photos and some dates. The ones without dates are what it looks like today. So, 8 different weeks at the shop total, and over nine months later and still not complete. read more

DO NOT take your vehicle here. There is absolutely zero security for any vehicles. They left my vehicle out by the side walk on a busy street along with 10 other different vehicles. My vehicle was broken into and everything stolen. When I asked about security cameras.... they of course do not work. There are no gates around the perimeter. My vehicle had been broken into over a month ago... and nothing was communicated to myself or law enforcement. When I called to ask about how they deal with these matters, they were very unprepared and unapologetic for they're lack of responsibility for the security of the property. Again 0 gates. 0 cameras. 0 communication. Good luck. read more

Well I wanted to give them a higher rating but came here for bodywork done and they are an approved body shop through insurance....Ivan was pretty friendly on the phone and I think that Andy was who we dealt with checking in and out and he was also pretty good. They didn't have good estimations on when my vehicle would be done, kept hearing waiting on parts. Wondered why tracking isn't used or able to obtain where brackets to attach a bumper but it went about 4-5 days past original estimate which coming up to a holiday weekend was a bit annoying. They did a great job and the car looks good but detailing was a little sloppy...the dashboard and shifter were still dusty and the license plates weren't cleaned. Big annoyance for me is that I now have to take my car into the dealer because a TMS sensor for my tires went off as they did a wheel alignment...so something was incorrectly done. And also now when I try to accelerate quickly, the engine thumps violently...I have a fairly new car and it definitely did not do this before. Pretty concerning and hopefully my car isn't messed up, I'll see when I take it to the dealer this weekend and will update my review accordingly. read more

This is the scene: I park my car on the street in front of my house while we do some yardwork. My lovely neighbor proceeds to pull out and ram his vehicle right into my driver side door (not sure how he got me, since our street is quite large). Thankfully my neighbor is an honest man and after all the insurance paperwork was taken care of, I opted to take my car to Terex since it's within walking distance to my house. The insurance (Farmers) wanted me to take my car to some other locations that they normally deal with, but I went here, got an estimate and it was within the price range that the insurance was willing to pay so it worked out beautifully. Rex is the owner of the shop and he's amiable and easy to deal with. He's responsive on emails and I didn't have to deal with the insurance after they signed off on the estimate work - his shop dealt with it. I would say that you might have to wait a few minutes in the office because Rex is the only person running the joint - not a problem, but just keep that in mind when you're there. The work took a normal amount of time and my door and fender look great. Work is guaranteed, so no worries there. A few days after I got my car back, I noticed that my cruise control light had gone out. Not sure if it were the result of the work that was recently done, I asked Rex to check it. It took a few minutes and his mechanic said the light just happened to go out at the same time. He ended up replacing it for just the price of the item! That is customer service! No one likes bringing their car to a body shop, but if a place can make it a tad bit more enjoyable, I'm ok with that. Tip: They deal with Enterprise a lot, so it's easy to get to and from the rental car lot. read more

Asked for some help with minor scratches and door dings on my truck as well as with replacing a plastic trim piece on my wife's Jeep. I shared a number of detailed photos but was asked this morning to come in person to show Rex my vehicle. I let him know about 15 minutes later that I was on my way. Rex said thanks right away and we were set to meet. When I arrived 15 minutes after that and asked for Rex, the receptionist told me I "just missed him" and he had left for that day just before I arrived. What? Pretty pathetic customer service and all Rex had to say was "Sorry"... Not sure how the quality of the work is because we didn't get to that point. He's a great assessor and gave me an initial quote of four days off hand with a quick visual inspection from the day I dropped it off but Terex got it out in three. Got estimates from several other shops where it became clear that they were trying to over repair my car in order to force me to use my insurance. Finally stopped by Terex based on a recommendation from a a coworker who had previously worked there (which I thought was a good sign). And here's what i got. *they came and picked up my car & then dropped it back off for free. this included putting a little gas in it as well *they cleaned my car *they repaired the scratches perfectly. the bumper looks brand new. *they fixed a part of my bumper that was smooshed in a bit, which i bought the car with b/c it was used. i did not mention this to them, but they fixed this as well. i almost died of shock when i got it back and saw the entire bumper was perfection. and all for $250. unbelievable. i want to hug these people. go to them. now! read more

Sometimes people have accidents. And sometimes those people happen to be your boyfriend, and you don't necessarily want both of your insurance companies to punish you for years about it. That's when I turned to Terex. We talked to the owner Rex about the quote and he was super knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He gave us best case and worst case quotes and assured us he would ask permission to proceed with additional needs once they took off the bumper and saw the actual damage. Luckily, the quote ended up being in the best case scenario and the repair was done extremely well. I even had a problem with a loose splash guard and they threw up some extra clips at no cost. Communication was good and there was always someone available if I had questions or concerns or just wanted an update. My 2013 Honda Civic looks as good as new and I would definitely return for future auto repair needs. read more

Awesome, awesome, awesome! This was the third time I've taken a car to Terex. First a deer and my daughter's car collided, then my wife's car was hit while she was in the Barton Creek shopping mall parking lot (no note left ... only a huge dent in the door). This one was my fault (guy short stopped in the middle of a right turn and I hit his trailer hitch cover) and the paint on my front bumper was cracked and peeling. These guys have been amazing! Matched the custom paint I had for the stripes on the mustang and took out another dent I in the rear quarter panel and touched up the paint. You can't find the repairs. They are perfect and I'm one picky son of a gun (I love my car)! The car was washed and clean and they even put the shiny stuff on the tires. The shop isn't the fanciest by any stretch, but the service and attitude of the staff are second to none. I drove all the way from South Austin to take them three cars. They must be good! These are super nice people that know what they are doing and go the extra mile to make sure you're completely happy! Every car was repaired quickly and perfectly! Love these guys! I hit a curb and damaged my front wheel drive vehicle. They did a great job of looking for affordable parts, keeping me up to date with what was going on with my car, and charging me a reasonable amount for the repairs. I then recommended a co-worker who hit a pot hole and they were able to repair is rim for 1/4 of what the dealer was going to charge. I don't think I have enough room to write about these guys! From the very beginning, the staff was very nice and easy to work with. I had issues getting my rental car through the persons insurance that hit me and the terex staff were very understanding and didn't rush me to get it in to them until I had it all figured out. Jasmine did an amazing job keeping me in the loop. I never had to wonder what was going on or if there were any setbacks. If I didn't have an email telling me the current progress, I had a voicemail from her updating me on it. She was always friendly when I would call the one or two times I actually needed to. Isaac and Andy were also great to work with! They were both very knowledgable and efficient in their estimates. As far as the whole team goes, I'm just in awe. My car looked brand new, inside and out, once I picked it up. They did an amazing job on the actual work. The detailing was a nice surprise. It literally looked like a brand new car sitting in the lot and when I got inside I was amazed that they had cleaned so thoroughly. They had even bagged all the stuff in my back seat and cleaned there as well. In the beginning I was nervous because this shop was chosen by the insurance of the person that hit me, but I've definitely found a body shop for any future repairs that I might end up needing. I really didn't want to be late going into work so Jazmin emailed me all of the paperwork that needed to be filled out ahead of time and Andy even made sure that someone would be there a bit early so I could just drop my car off, hand them the keys and hop into my rental. Such a seamless process. Everyone was a joy to speak with, excellent outcome, timely and when I got in my car it was cleaned so well (I havent seen my car this clean since I bought it) and smelled great! I noticed my car had a long black mark in the paint on my front bumper. Talked to Rex and he said bring it on by. He cleaned and buffed out the spot on my car in less than five minutes and charged me nothing for it (it was minor). None the less, you try finding a service here in this city that will do anything for free, by the owner of the shop no less. Five stars for honesty, ethics, speed, and results. I have used Terex twice in the past, once for my sister-in-law's care and once for my wife's van and have always been very pleased. This time my truck was hit in a parking lot at Target while I was shopping. No note of course. Terex did a great job making the process very easy once again. It was ready ahead of when I expected it, and it looks exactly like new. Terex also fully detailed it before pickup. Rex is very easy to work with and I really appreciate the attention to detail, the extras like free rental car service and car detailing, the fact that they deal directly with the insurance company, and they are also conveniently located (for me anyway). Where do I begin!? I should say I never write reviews unless they totally deserve it! About a month ago I went all over town trying to find the company that could put my car back together after it was nearly totaled. From the start I called and talked to Rex and he said don't worry just to come in and they will take a look. Long story short they couldn't have been nicer and accommodated me in every way possible. I was so worried because the accident was not my fault but they called the company for me and did all the dirty work. My husband was a skeptic because how often do things go smooth and right at a repair shop? They helped set up my rental car too I didn't have to make any phone calls and the insurance took care of everything because they talked to Rex! I have a baby and know the inconvenience with car seats and everything so they helped me moving stuff to the rental car and back. They also offered to drive me home and have the rental car sent to my home! But a few days later ( much sooner than I had anticipated) my car looked like new! Today I had some little dents in it from a lady dinging it with her door I brought it in and they had it done in no time. I highly recommend this place and have found my forever car repair spot in Austin! They always go above and beyond and are so quick! Oh and Isaac at the front desk is super great and nice too!
