I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. This let me to dig deeper which is where I found many issues ranging from undisclosed frame damage to serious electrical system damage and an exhaust system that was hanging on by a thread. I contacted Imran with a full report straight from the dealer. He reiterated that he had a "120 point inspection" done and none of the issues were found. He said he would have his guy do the work, but I declined that offer considering his guy missed these glaring issues and is highly unlikely to be qualified. I recommend that anyone buying here insist on an independent inspection. Overall my net cost on the truck is not bad, but it is not what I signed up for.
