John held the car for me for 2-3 days until I could get out there; even though, he had other offers on it.

From the moment I began exploring options for my new preowned 2024 Land Rover Defender, the entire team Camille and manager Brock demonstrated a level of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care that exceeded my expectations. They took the time to understand my specific preferences and criteria for the vehicle, ensuring that every recommendation was tailored to my needs. Their knowledge of the Land Rover lineup, combined with their patience and explanations, made the decision making process clear, enjoyable, and stress-free. What truly stood out was the attention to detail throughout sales process and delivery experience. From initial discussions to final delivery, they maintained communication, anticipated questions before I had to ask, and made sure every step was handled efficiently. The courtesy, respect, and professionalism displayed by the staff reflected Sewell's commitment to customer satisfaction and high standards. I've owned many vehicles in my 66 yrs of life, Lexus, BMW, Cadillac And never experienced this level of professionalism at those dealerships. I'm a first time buyer from Sewell. It was your reputation that got my attention. It is rare to encounter such a personalized car-buying experience. The team at Sewell Land Rover North Austin made me feel valued as a customer and reinforced why Sewell has such a strong reputation. I would like to specifically recognize manager Brock and saleswomen Camille Majeres for their dedication, knowledge, and excellent service, which made the purchase of my Defender not just a transaction but a genuinely positive and memorable experience. Please extend my gratitude to the entire team at the Austin location. I hope that corporate leadership is aware of the outstanding work being done there it deserves recognition. About a month after driving it, the paint on the bumper and fender started peeling, which I found strange. When I reached out to them, their staff was extremely rude, evasive, and dismissive, insisting they had nothing to do with it and that it was my job to ask if the car had been wrecked -- which I actually did during the purchase. The salesman falsely claimed later that he told me. I took the vehicle to a trusted body shop, and that's when everything came to light. The entire front clip had clearly been repainted poorly, without proper primer, and that's why the paint is peeling. The bumper had glue and zip ties instead of proper clips, and worst of all -- the airbags had previously deployed and been repaired, something they absolutely knew when they sold it to me. They intentionally hid this major damage from me, banking on the fact that it wasn't reported to Carfax. It's a textbook example of how some dealers manipulate the "clean Carfax" label. I even tried filing a lawsuit, only to be told I couldn't because I unknowingly signed an arbitration agreement required to buy the car. This is not just shady -- it feels like fraud. They sold me what was advertised as a premium vehicle, fully aware of its condition. I still don't know if my airbags even work properly. Please be very careful if you're considering buying from them. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

He took the time to listen to my concerns and ensured that everything was handled promptly but without the feeling of the "I'm trying to sell you something" . What really stood out was the genuine care and attention he provided. In a world full of choices where everybody can do the same thing, service can feel rushed or impersonal, Duncan's approach felt authentic. That my friends is something that is hard to teach. A smile can be shown but you can feel something else. He spoke to me about my vehicle as if it were his own, and that level of commitment reassured me. I left feeling confident in the quality of the work done. If you're in need of service, I highly recommend reaching out to Duncan and his team--they truly make a difference! I've been in the auto industry for over 20 years and truly appreciate when I feel I'm taking care of. Management would be wise and I'm sure they are, to recognize when you have a great asset to the team. Seems like they do a good job on the hiring front. Till next time ladies and gentleman!

I will not be doing business with this dealership again and strongly caution others to be very careful if they choose to do so. My wife and I came in to test drive a car and, after the test drive, submitted a credit application--explicitly authorizing a credit pull--with the clear intent to purchase the vehicle. We were told everything was in order and scheduled an appointment the following morning for my wife to move forward with financing and paperwork. At no point were we informed that the vehicle was still at risk of being sold. While my wife was on her way to completing the financing process, she received a call informing her that the vehicle had been shown to another couple and sold. This occurred despite our salesperson clearly communicating to management that this deal was essentially set. That information was dismissed, and management allowed another salesperson to show and sell the vehicle without extending us even the courtesy of a phone call to give us the opportunity to finalize the purchase--which we absolutely would have done. I work with dealerships regularly in my profession, and while you hear stories like this, you hope they are exaggerated or rare. Unfortunately, this experience proved otherwise. When I raised the issue with management, the response felt scripted, dismissive, and entirely policy-driven, with no ownership or genuine concern for how poorly this was handled. It became very clear that the priority was selling the vehicle as quickly as possible, regardless of fairness, professionalism, or existing commitments. The message sent was simple: once a faster or more convenient sale appears, an active and committed customer is expendable. That reflects a lack of integrity in both process and leadership. I previously had a positive experience purchasing from Toyota of Cedar Park, which makes this situation even more disappointing. This was not a failure of the salesperson I worked with--it was a management decision, and it speaks volumes about how business is conducted there. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. If you choose to do business here, proceed with caution and do not assume that verbal assurances, credit applications, or scheduled appointments mean anything unless a deal is fully executed. This dealership and its management team should be ashamed of themselves!

While they're inspecting the car, Fransisco notices I need a new battery. "Eh, out of budget for me right now" I tell him. BUT WAIT Instead of trying to sell me a battery, the legend Cisco points out that a new battery is covered under warranty for my 2022 Lincoln Corsair. "I don't have a warranty" says I. "You do for 9 more days!" says he. So I come back Monday for a new battery. In and out in 90 minutes, I am -- but the whole time I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. And drop it does. Jimmy tells me I need new hood struts. Again, I'm no fool -- I'm not falling for this upsell. le sigh Okay Jimmy, what's that gonna run me? "Oh we can get it covered under your warranty since it's still good and it's when the car is dropped off that matters." "Oh!" I respond, completely surprised, looking around for that other shoe that never hit me. Okay can we do it today? "Well..." Ah, here it comes I'm thinking. "It takes a week or two to replace those." THERE IT IS! I knew there was a catch! Except... "But don't sweat it because we can get you a rental under your warranty for the whole time it's in the shop!" This is wild. Okay, I'll be back tomorrow (12/16/25, cutting it close). I get home and get a call from Tracy. "Hey there, this is Tracy from Covert -- I'm calling because you may have gotten some bad information on rental coverage." Bummer. I knew it was too good to be true. Except Tracy called me back the next day and said they worked it out and I'm good to go! So I bring in the car on 12/18 (eek, 3 days left of warranty), they order me a lyft to take me to hertz, get me my big ol' SUV that fits me (I'm large) and tell me my coverage is good for 10 days. This is slightly worrisome with the holidays and all, but they assure me it'll get done. I call on the 26th for an update, and they tell me the parts were ordered that day and take 2-3 business days to arrive. I voice my concern about my coverage ending the 28th on the rental, and get a call back from Patrick that afternoon. "Don't sweat it, we got your rental coverage extended another 10 days!" WOW. Fast forward to Tuesday, 12/30 (well past warranty end now), and I get a call from Cisco. "Hey Mr. Bengal, mixed news for you sir -- the car is ready BUT there was an issue when we were doing the struts. TLDR (too late for that but still) the warranty wouldn't actually be able to cover the struts, but because they said it would, they honored it on their end by applying a bunch of discounts. Cisco felt bad, but let me know I *would* have to pay a bit. Total out of pocket: $21.85. I brought them a catering tray to show my appreciation, but that damn sure isn't enough so I'm writing to share the experience. and let everyone know that I will 100% be buying my next car (looking at a Lincoln Nautilus) from Covert Ford/Lincoln, and splurging for the extended warranty -- all because of Tracy, Cisco, Jimmy, and Patrick. This is the first time in my life that i've ever felt like my service center is trying to help me rather than trying to upsell me, and I couldn't be happier to have car trouble!

I hate going out there due to the longer drive, but Marble Falls Ford is much much better. This dealership just feels nasty. The dealer should clean the house, but this dealer is lazy af.
