I cannot say enough about my experience at Covert Lincoln and with Product Specialist, Mike Dixon. I had been in the market for a new vehicle for some time and had many different types of experiences. I was thrilled at the service I experienced with Mike. I had a few cars I was interested in, and he explained the options/features for each car in great detail. He was able to answer all my questions to great satisfaction. I was fascinated to learn about Covert's client convenience options regarding service! I am a former Lexus owner, and I now think Covert has them beat with all their options! Mike is highly personable and knowledgeable, and he treated me as if I was his only client. I had a VIP experience with him and I now own a beautiful car with numerous safety features and fun options. He delivered the car to my home, made sure I understood the car's features and mentioned that I could always call him with questions. He introduced me to the team, and I am confident my needs will be met. If you want a great vehicle with fantastic customer service options please ask for Mike Dixon. I have owned a few businesses in the past and I can assure you I would have recruited him!

These individuals are exemplary sales professionals and made my buying experience not only an absolute pleasure but also an easy decision to give them my business rather than Covert Bee Cave. I specifically named these gentleman because speaking with other people at this location I did not receive the same welcome which gave me a bad impression at first. I'm glad I gave them another shot and ended up meeting Derek and David who were outstanding and helped me get my Wife into a new Cadillac Escalade. Together these individuals I mentioned at the beginning gave me a decent trade-in price, a reasonable purchasing price for the new vehicle and made all the paperwork process simple and smooth. At no point was I pressured nor harassed and all my questions were always answered with honesty which goes a long way. Nobody wants to come to a dealership to argue with sales reps when they are spending their hard earned money. Customers want to be treated with dignity and respect, and not like chumps who are bidding at an auction for the approval of the dealership. For this reason, I specifically recommend Covert dealership on 183 when looking to buy a new Cadillac in Austin, Texas. I strongly suggest avoiding Covert Bee Cave because they lack transparency and have ridiculous add ons. That dealership will tell you what you want to hear while lying to your face at the same time. So if you want the same great service that I received ask for Derek McNabb or David Bislar these are the only two gentleman I will ever do business with simply because I was told by other sales people at Covert 183 I would never get a deal on any Escalade ever while out in the parking lot just browsing without even talking with their manager. Some sales people think being withholding with discounts stern on price and tuff on customers is a good sales tactic for some reason then get looked over because nobody wants to deal with that kind of person if they decide to return to buy. Don't give up or give in keep looking ask to talk to someone else till you find someone willing to see the blessing of having a potential sale. I like a sales rep who is upfront isn't afraid of going the extra mile and helping me get a great deal despite what they make on commission. That's the type of person who will go far because they aren't lying and making up excuses the first 5 min of negotiations and aren't afraid of asking question . I've always been told the worst you can hear is no and it's true and you can always move on. Never be attached to a vehicle so much that you give into something uncomfortable be flexible it will go a long way. Anyways I'm glad and blessed to have gotten the help I did. Special thank you to Joe the sales manager and Armen in finance. What wonderful people to buy a car from. They really are amazing and made me feel appreciated as a customer. I highly recommend asking for them if you decide to get a new Cadillac at Covert 183 . On a different note the company is almost done fully rebuilding a brand new Cadillac dealership in place of the old one and I'm excited to see the results within this year when my first maintenance comes up.

I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. Thank you, Isaac, Angela, and Stephanie!

It's a dealer item, so I can only go to the dealer for repairs. I checked for recalls, zilch. Ok, silver lining... the car is drivable. It is a safety feature, but it is not completely necessary. Also, having just bought the car, I wonder if the dealer knew about the malfunction and sold it to me anyway. No way to prove that though. What sticks in my craw is the warranty thing, and having been in the car business that one is on me. I should have taken the premium warranty. I'll bring the rating up to 3 stars reasons: - No diagnostic charge ($150) - Taking the time to discover the problem. - Offering to pay half. 12/5/25. I responded to J. Crawley's message. Just wanted to say that Sean Knox is fantastic! I met him initially in June when I stopped by with my daughter for her service appointment. He made such a positive impression that when I finally decided to make my purchase in December I sought him out specifically. He was/is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. He is down to earth and not pushy which is a very welcome surprise as "most" sales people at various dealerships are off-putting, thus losing out on my business. We bought this vehicle because of everything Subaru stands for: "94% of them are still on the road after 10 years", they're durable and long lasting, we're outdoorsy, gay, have dogs, all of the stereotypes check check check. We loved our service guy, but hindsight, we were screwed by this dealership: Every service--oil changes, filters, transmission services, inspections, and all recommended maintenance--was performed exclusively at Subaru Austin. Over those years, we spent well over $20,000 on service and repairs. For tens of thousands of miles (well before 60K), I repeatedly documented and reported transmission-related symptoms: Jerking and hesitation Poor acceleration and lack of power RPMs surging unpredictably Difficulty driving uphill Eventually, consistent burning smells Each time, we were told it could be the transmission but they were unable to diagnose any issue. At approximately 90,000 miles, Subaru of America agreed to cover 50% of major engine repairs (CVT front pump chain and CS head gasket), which required removing the engine and still cost us over $6,000 out of pocket. Less than 30,000 miles later, we were told the CVT had completely failed and needed to be replaced for $10,000, or we could purchase a used transmission with 66K miles for $2,800, or Subaru Austin would offer $12,000 for the vehicle. This came immediately after another disastrous service visit where: We spent $1,400 diagnosing the wrong AC issue Returned one week later for the actual issue (cracked radiator fan) after being given the car back The vehicle was returned to us damaged (front passenger door) We provided photo and video evidence proving the damage occurred during service. Subaru Austin initially agreed to repair the door properly, acknowledging it would require full repainting and blending, costing several thousand dollars. Instead, they later reversed course and offered a $500 check, stating management had "nixed" the repair. We were also told that if we sold the vehicle back to them, we would no longer be eligible for that $500. Here is where things crossed a line. We took the vehicle to CarMax, who offered $12,000, matching Subaru Austin's offer. CarMax did not detect the transmission failure. When we attempted to negotiate with Subaru Austin using this offer, we were asked whether CarMax knew about the transmission issue. We answered honestly: no. Subaru Austin then told us they would not increase their offer--but that if we sold the vehicle to CarMax with the bad transmission, they would still give us the $500 "courtesy" check. In other words, we were encouraged to offload a vehicle with a known major defect to another dealer so Subaru Austin wouldn't have to deal with it. Talk about deceptive trade practices and fraud!!! We refused and sold the car back to Subaru Austin. Three days later, the vehicle was listed on Subaru Austin's website for over $18,000, advertised as: One-owner Local trade All services completed at Subaru Austin There was no mention of transmission issues. Given the timeline, I highly doubt a $10,000 transmission replacement occurred before relisting. A few weeks later, the listing disappeared. Shoutout to whoever bought the green/java 2019 outback 3.6L with last 4 VIN#3377... If you are considering buying or servicing a vehicle here, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing, seeking independent diagnostics, and understanding that loyalty, documentation, and following all recommendations do not guarantee ethical treatment. This experience was financially devastating, emotionally draining, and completely avoidable.

About a month after driving it, the paint on the bumper and fender started peeling, which I found strange. When I reached out to them, their staff was extremely rude, evasive, and dismissive, insisting they had nothing to do with it and that it was my job to ask if the car had been wrecked -- which I actually did during the purchase. The salesman falsely claimed later that he told me. I took the vehicle to a trusted body shop, and that's when everything came to light. The entire front clip had clearly been repainted poorly, without proper primer, and that's why the paint is peeling. The bumper had glue and zip ties instead of proper clips, and worst of all -- the airbags had previously deployed and been repaired, something they absolutely knew when they sold it to me. They intentionally hid this major damage from me, banking on the fact that it wasn't reported to Carfax. It's a textbook example of how some dealers manipulate the "clean Carfax" label. I even tried filing a lawsuit, only to be told I couldn't because I unknowingly signed an arbitration agreement required to buy the car. This is not just shady -- it feels like fraud. They sold me what was advertised as a premium vehicle, fully aware of its condition. I still don't know if my airbags even work properly. Please be very careful if you're considering buying from them. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

This was my first time working with CarMax. I wanted to sell my 2020 low-mileage Hyundai Kona,…read morebecause the dealership where I was buying my new car was unlikely to be interested. The selling process is pretty simple if you do the bulk of the work online ahead of time. It starts with a self-appraisal of your vehicle, which generates an offer that may be adjusted when the car is brought in. If you like your offer, you must bring the car in within 7 days. I was reasonably pleased with my offer, which suggested they thought the car should sell easily for more than they paid for it. If you decide to sell your car within that 7-day timeframe, gather your title and registration documents and submit these along with proof that you're the owner(s). Each owner must submit copies of both sides of their driver's licenses and take a selfie. If everything required is submitted online, an approval is given and you can set up an appointment to come in. We did this on a Saturday, and while the place was busy our transaction was completed in about an hour. Still, I'd suggest you choose a weekday (if possible) to visit. I can't evaluate the buying side of things, but the selection of vehicles at this location is phenomenal, with many flavors of each model. I'm guessing that you will pay more for this convenience, but it might be well worth it.

Let me start off by saying this was my first and last time purchasing a car online. My experience…read morewas horrible. I would rather have the expectations of being in a dealership for 5 hours instead of wasting my time online, filling out all of the documents and being under the impression that I would be in and out in 30 minutes and ask the same questions that were answered online and on the phone when someone from carmax called me. 1.. The process totally wasted my time. I spent a good amount of time online filling out all documentations.Answering all questions only to be asked those same exact questions. When I got to the dealership. 2. I got to the dealership roughly at 4:30. I was told that I would be out numerous times within thirty minutes. All I would have to do is sign and go. Well, that was the first misleading statement from carmax. I did not leave the dealership until 9:30. 3. The salesperson that was assigned to me.His name was ramsey. I never felt comfortable with this guy.He never made me feel as if my best interest was being met. The process felt just like a process.Give me in, get me out.Let him move on to the next person. He spoke to me in a very condescending wait, in fact, I had to correct him a couple of times about the way he was speaking to me. He spoke to me as f I was a individual who lacked the intelligence to understand the process. 4. Ramsay also didn't give me the full carmax experience of when you buy a new car. while waiting 44 and a half hours, I did see other salespeople. When they finished up their sale, walk with their clients to their new car and give them the yellow bow treatment with the pitcher. Well, needless, say that is not an experience that I got with ramsey. As I said previously, everything seemed like a rush process, he made me totally feel like I was an inconvenience to him.And wasting his time. 5. Let's talk about the appraisal process. Now, this isn't something that i'm really upset about, because you can't really have a vehicle appraised online and have an actual good appraisal without an actual appraiser.Looking at the car. Online, they told me, initially I was gonna get $8000 for my car, well, turns out, I only got $6400. 6. Let's talk about the car. I purchased a 2024 BMW 330I with the M2 Sports package with 7,100 miles on it. After spending 425 hours in the dealership, it was finally time for me to get my car. WELL THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WHEN I GOT INSIDE THE CAR WAS THAT THE FLOOR MATS WERE GENERIC FLOOR MATS THAT DID NOT FIT THE CAR AT ALL. AND WHEN I SAY THEY DID NOT FIT THE CAR AT ALL, MEANING THE FLOOR MATS ACTUALLY COVERED THE GAS PEDAL. i brought this to the attention of the floor sales manager. Instead of coming up with helpful solutions from the beginning I was told that the pitchers online did not come with floor mats.So they just threw some floor mats in there. Again, I told this guy that this is a safety issue. The floor mats literally covered the gas.Pedal, and they let me drive off that way. They told me to find some floor mats under a hundred and fifty dollars, and they were reimburse me. Now I'm not the sharpest knife in it. Kitchen drawer? But I would always think that a dealership's top priority is to make sure they're letting you leave in a nice safe vehicle At the very least, they could have said.Hey, let us take these car mats out this vehicle. And when you buy some new ones, just bring us the receipt and reimburse you.No that did not happen. 7. Let's continue to talk about the car. Before carmax sells your car. They are supposed to do a quality inspection on the vehicle. I'm under the impression that this vehicle did not get a dural quality.Inspection. My reasoning for saying that is because the following day When I took the car to where I work at which is ABM W dealership It was pointed out to me that the windshield had a very large crack in it. Now to give carmax credit, they did get that problem.Taken care of they replaced the entire windshield. The car was also missing all four valve stem caps. Does summit all up my first and last car buying experience with carmax was an utter failure. The only reason I left with this car is because of myself. Pride, because I was telling everyone I was buying this car, and I had to deal wrapped up.That's the sole reason that I bought this car. I'm pretty sure that ramsey and his entire sales team mayfield, as if they got one over me by selling me this car at the non negotiated price that I wanted online and then me still buying a car after the whole entire bad experience. Well I may have left with this car But carmax will never see me again as a customer, and I hope that these words read to someone before they make a decision to buy a vehicle from you all..
