    How many service techs does it take to change a lightbulb at Leif Johnson Ford? This is the worst Ford service experience ever in Austin, TX. It started when my daughter who is a UT student brought her car in because she couldn't see when she was driving at night. The Leif Johnson Ford service department took a few hours to diagnose it and then told my daughter there was nothing wrong, and she didn't know how to use the automatic lights. They shamed her and mansplained how nothing was wrong w/ her lights. They made her feel bad about it, and did not fix the problem. So she had to drive w/o headlights for a few more weeks. So I was in town a few weeks later visiting, and my wife and I took the car back to Leif Johnson Ford Service Department and explained the problem, and I swear we had four Leif Johnson Ford Service Techs staring at us like they didn't know what could possibly be wrong with our Ford Escape, and couldn't see anything wrong w/ the headlights. It was shocking the low level of intelligence and communication. "I don't know what it could be?" I was finally able to prove the headlights were out - and the service rep took the car for a day and changed the bulbs for us. My wife and I had to rent a car for the day, and spend hours going back and forth, after my daughter had already spent hours on her first visit to Leif Johnson Ford Service in Austin Texas. I'm not sure what is wrong with this place. If you are a woman or a University of Texas student, I would avoid this place for sure. If you want good service, I would avoid Leif Johnson Ford Service. When I spoke to the service manager and asked him about why it was so difficult for us to get our headlamp bulbs changed, he explained that all cars are different and the lighting systems are very complex. And I'm like, hey man, this 2017 Ford Escape is Ford's best selling vehicle and you're telling me your best service techs have never seen a burnt out light bulb? When all was said and done we were sent away. No discount. No apology. Only arrogance from Leif Johnson Ford. Stay far away. In my opinion this was the worst Ford Service Department Ever in Austin Texas or anywhere.

    So I left this wonderful review for Leif Johnson Ford on Konig Lane yesterday. But now I see it never saved it. I want to reach out mainly to the disabled community. The Ford dealers now have a new service. They will come pick up your car and take it back to get fixed and then drop it off to your home free of charge! I had said I never heard of this service before and I've had my Mustang for 11 years. The gentleman had said no this is New and I said oh how wonderful is this for somebody like me. Also for certain recalls, they can actually do it in the driveway of your home. I also had that experience with Leif Johnson Ford again this morning. My car is back in for a third recall and they're right on top of it they came to get it and then they'll bring it home whenever it's done. I must commend this company for seeing a whole new type of customer than they're used to. And all Ford dealerships will be offering the same service. If for some reason, they're not sure when you ask them it's because not all associates have heard of it because there's a lot of new hires in the beginning of every year. So just ask them if your car's gotta go in for anything they will come get it for you no matter how far I am 28 miles from where there are now. And they still picked it up and brought it back home free of charge. This is an outstanding service for people with disabilities or other physical types of situations. I can only drive a certain distance about maybe 15 miles at best because my legs get tired easily due to my disease called CIDP. It's a nerve disorder where your white cells it's auto immune your white cells chew on your nerves making them less effective and at times making your feet and legs numb. On those type of days, I would never dream of touching my car. But most of the days I can drive and I'm thankful for the Lord giving me that gift that I can keep. Again, this is not about me. This is about Leif Johnson Ford and they're amazing Customer Service they've been through a lot and a lot of turnover but now they're definitely producing a great service to everyone so for all of you out there next time you need a service for your Ford and you bought it at any Ford dealership call and ask them about the service. You will not have to go there or leave your car. Have someone bring you home? Nothing like that they pick it up and drop it off and bring it home Home Again and that's it. God bless all of you at Leif Johnson Ford. I bet you're the ones that started it and the others followed. I had an amazing experience in 2016. When I bought my car and every time I've had to bring it the work was always quality. And now I don't have to bring it anymore. They come to me. So God bless all of you at all the Ford locations for giving such a gift to people with disabilities that hold them back. Go team Ford! Go with your bad ass selves!

I asked him about getting recalls done in my home in my driveway. This is something they just started doing so a lot of of the Ford employees may not be aware so if they don't offer this option to you, ask them about it. They'll do the recall in your driveway unless it needs to go to them. And if it does need to go all the way back to Connick Lane they don't care they will come out. They will pick up your car. They will service it the way you needed it and they will bring it back home for you free of charge!! I know for me I have CIDP which makes the nerves in my legs. Very tired after 20 minutes of driving. And Leif Johnson Ford on Coney Lane is where I bought my beautiful 2016 Mustang brand new back then. But now that they have this great new service for people in need for either handicap, disabled, or other. Please share this with your friends and family that all Ford dealers will be doing this! And again, like I said it's brand new so a lot of of the people you may talk to to make a service call may not be aware so just remind them of what you've read here and then somebody will be able to fix it for you. All free of charge. This company is an amazing location. I just wish it was closer to me. I'm all the way in Kyle and they're coming all the way out from Coney Lane. Thank you, Leif Johnson Ford and the Ford motor company. You are all so very helpful but now you have made life easier for people like me in this world who have a hard time driving a long distance or if I have to have someone drive me. I then proceeded to walk over to the cashier area where the lady there asked if I had been helped, and I said, "No!". She proceeded to ask one of the four service men sitting doing absolutely nothing! The cashier asked If someone could help me and no one said a word. I then walked out the front door and got into my car peacefully. It was after I got into my car that I saw an attendant trying to approach my car. They were rude and disrespectful! After I got into my car I drove straight over to Manor Rd. Ford Riata Dealership where AJ there sold me a brand new 2025 Ford Explore. I will NEVER go back to that location again!!!!My money spends good anywhere, I have excellent credit and have purchased over 6 vehicles from Ford within 10 years. I was also scheduled to meet with Scarlet (Norma) this day to purchase a nee car at the 290 location but I was so disappointed in your staff's customer service that I refused to purchase anything from your store. I should return my new car and not purchased from Ford at all!!!!! Because the folks at Riata were so kind and professional, I couldn't punished them for your lazy crew members actions. Marketing included extensive photos taken at the office building. Every car will take a different amount of time. The LS500 is a huge and interesting sedan that doesn't appeal to everyone, If you have a hyper-popular car, expect Daniel's team to sell it much, much faster. Receipt of funds was easy- Daniel provided a check to me once the buyer's funds had cleared Signature's account.     We just financed a car from Texas Honda and we are paying way too much in APR from the bank that…read moreloaned us money, not the issue, we needed a car ASAP and have to suck it up because of the credit score. The issue lies with the complete lack of communication and things they said they'd do and did not. We were supposed to pick up the car on Tuesday when they said it would be ready. They communicated through text and on paper that the issue with TPMS light would be fixed, and the ac would be fixed as well as regular maintenance, as well as a detail of the car, oil change ect would be done by Tuesday. They did not communicate with us that it would in fact not be read, we reached out to them they said nope tomorrow, never heard back the next day so we reached out they said nope tomorrow for sure. All times we had to be the ones to call and text which I understand they are busy people but we just spent money and we expect things to be ready when they said they'll be or at least be communicated with and not left in the dark. Before we picked up the car we also tried to reach out and get a copy of the financial documents because we wanted to arrange our schedules and get everything squared away with payments, they said they'd contact the finance department about sending us the info, they never did. When we reached out the day a few hours into the day to see if they were able to get ahold of the department on sending us the information they told us the person in charge of our documents left early for the day. Again left in the dark about that. When we showed for the car we were able to see the documents but when asked if we could get a copy of everything they said they had already made copies and just handed us some flash drive we have no way of looking at. When we finally got the car the issue with the TPMS light was not fixed they said they got the wrong part so we can come back....To call them or text them Saturday morning to see if the part had arrived, so we did they said nope try again Monday. So we tried again Monday (Today) Person in charge of letting us know if the part had arrived or not basically said I'm actually out until NEXT Saturday so try again then..... or just show up and ask the maintenance guy in charge. We did not want to make the drive for no reason if the part hadn't arrived or he wasn't there. So we called, many times, were transferred many times. No one ever answered, weird because there's always at least 10 people just chatting in the front. Showed up and the guy there (different sales person) has no idea any of this was happening ,our sales person never let anyone know anything before dipping for a week. The AC was also never fixed, Sunday afternoon when we were running errands air would blow but it wouldn't get cold. We were sitting there sweating. The AC repair was written into their "WE OWE YOU" form stating our AC would be good and fixed at pick up. It's not fixed. Probably a leak or something from a line. So desperate for them to fix the issue we want to have our mechanic fix it and just bill Honda because when we Brought that up to them and they're saying they don't have anything on file about our AC. This whole dealership is unprofessional and sold us a car that needed repairs. We did not agree to buy "AS-IS" we were told those issues would be fixed and I've got texts that prove it. We will both be submitting complaint about everything so far from this dealership to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles as well as the Better Business Bureau.
