I've been a customer of Greg Chapman Motors for two years now. I decided it was time to purchase another vehicle and the process to do so was quick & painless! I even got a better interest rate than the last time, all things considered. Angel was my rep again and when I went to test drive the vehicle I was going to purchase, I asked him if I could take it to a mechanic to get it inspected. He didn't hesitate to approve this, which shows how ethical they are as a dealership! The day after the purchase, however, the check engine light came on. I took it to the repair shop first to get the code pulled and then called and talked to Steve at Greg Chapman. He told me to bring it in and they were able to fix the two issues that pulled up right away. Not only this, but they noticed the navigation system was wired in a way that would drain my battery, so they re-wired it to prevent that from happening again. I bought a car from here , the day I left the engine light came on I had it checked it was the cadilic coverter was bad ,supposedly these cars were inspected when they are sold , a few months later the fuel pump and fuse box left me stranded on the side of the road with a total of $2500 in repairs ,then I was informed the oil filter housing needing replacement other $600 ac is bad also , this has left me in the hole now owing $3000 in repairs, and they were no help at all they told me , i bought used cars , they take no responsibility for the garbage they sell. This is my work vehicle im excepted to pay my payments on time and pay my financing on the repairs .so now I have to pay about $900 month between the 2 .buyer beware. read more

When you're in a tough position and really need a vehicle, this is absolutely the place to go. I was out of work for a few months and as such had 2 recent repos on my record, and my credit was pretty terrible too because of these issues. Steve and Angel were understanding and helpful and were able to work with me anyway, making several concessions that most other dealers wouldn't even have considered. The selection was limited but that didn't affect me at all, because in my position you take what you can get. My experience with this dealership was wonderful. My credit wasn't the best and I had been turned down at two other places. I called them to see if they might be willing to work with me before I drove out to Cedar Park. I spoke with Angel who instructed me to apply online and he would run everything through so I wouldn't need to make the trip unless approved. He called me back in about 20 minutes, said I was approved, and asked when I wanted to come by. This could not have gone any better. I showed up at the dealership still expecting something to go wrong. Having been to other dealerships, I knew that cars in person do not always match the pictures on websites. Again, I was pleasantly surprised. The cars in person were just as perfect as in the pictures. Angel gave me the keys for a solo test drive. No time deadline, no supervision, no leaving personal belongings as collateral. I was trusted. The paperwork was minimal. I think it took longer for me to call and get insurance than it did to deal with the dealership. :) They help people with credit problems so be aware you will pay more than you would if you had excellent credit. I see other reviews on here and I wonder why they expected otherwise. They report your payments each month to help you improve your credit rating. One warning, if you want to call it that. They do attach some doohickey thing to the car so that if you don't pay for it, they can track the car and even disable it from starting. Once the car is paid for, they will remove it. This is no big deal to me since I intend to make my payments. I only post this because I think others might be bothered by it. read more
