Had a great experience buying my New Beetle with this dealership. Was not sure about checking it out, cause of the wacky name but they had the car I really wanted, no one in Austin had any used New Beetles! So I give it a go! I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. I was able to test drive and inspect the car as much as I needed. There were a few minor cosmetic issues, which they took care of right away. For my first car, I went here to find a used vehicle as most teenagers out of high school do. I had gotten a 2002 Mazda 626. It has been nothing but Pandora's box. The transmission had to be rebuilt, the check engine light kept coming on, and it was hell for my parents and for me. We were told that it was a good first car and that it would be fine as I was going to school about 3 hours away from Leander. The first time the car broke down I was away at college and it happened on the highway during rush hour. I only drove to school and work and occasionally home to visit my family. We had spent at least over $5,000 on repairs and we have Called them and they did help repair somethings but over all we are disappointed with them and we recommend going elsewhere for a used vehicle. read more

Steve has always been willing to work a deal and help out when he can.. and of course, he in the long run is in business to make money.. he has to pay bills too. I never minded making payments on a vehicle (most of us have to make payments). He helped me out when my other car literally stopped working. Steve helped me find the perfect car at the perfect price and I had it for almost 4 years before it was traded in for a new car.. Steve is a decent guy and I believe truly wants to help people. If you are looking for a used car/truck at a decent price, this is the place to go.. and yes, most used cars and trucks have some issue(s).. but if you're worried about that take it to your mechanic and have them do a once over on the vehicle.. I was in an accident and I needed to purchase a new vehicle. I told steve about how I really valued getting a reliable vehicle, and how I needed to be able to get to and from work. He recommended two different Lexus ES 350s and I chose between the two. Unfortunately when I signed the buyers agreement it said "sold as is" and I should've known from that moment that he was selling me a piece of sh*t. Not even 20 minutes after I left the dealership, so happy about finally having a car, my car starts shaking to the point that I had to pull over. Four different lights on the dash came up (check engine light, traction control light, tire pressure monitor light, and vsc light). I knew they had cleared the codes because the tire pressure monitor light turned on at the same time as the other ones and is still on to this day. the sensor is broken. When I would accelerate, my car would have rough transitions between gears and it would idle hard when I was parked. I took it to a mechanic and he changed the spark plugs, and it was really a temporary fix because it would happen in a two to three day period before it broke again. Randomly the car will start to over heat when I'm parked, but be fine when I'm driving. Soon to find out that I had a internal coolant leak that was literally putting out my spark plug. What is so crazy to me is that it took 20 minutes after leaving the dealership for the car to start having problems. I couldn't take it back because it was "sold as is" so I felt completely taken advantage of. This man literally took 10 grand cash from me knowing that there was nothing I could do about it. When I went back a couple days later, he said there was nothing he could do for me and when I got upset he said "I was gonna help you, but now I'm not going to." WHATTT?!?!?! MANIPULATIVE IF YOU ASK ME????? DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!! THEY ARE HEARTLESS, AND WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!! THEY WILL SELL YOU CARS THAT WILL WORK WHEN YOU BUY IT, BUT BREAK 20 MINUTES FROM LEAVING. AND THERE WILL BE NOTHING THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO!!! THEY CLEARED THE CODES OFF OF THE DASH, THEY WILL DO IT TO YOU TOO!!! What a scam. Do not buy from these people. All they want is your money, they don't care about the damage. read more

Im not sure where to bring to praise Steve and his team for the purchase of my Saturn Ion. I was going through such a hard time with repairing my previous car until it finally blew up. Do not buy from this dealer. Sends a certified letter postmarked Dec 19th that they will sell our vehicle on the 20th if we do not pay off the balance even though they received payments within the last 30 days. Originally agreed to buy car at cash price. Paid 5k down with balance broke down into 2 remaining payments. We are 5 days late and he repossess the car. He will not release the car back to me unless I pay him the full balance owed plus fees. I am very honest and tell them our circumstances have changed. They keep the car while we continue to pay at least $500 every month NEVER missing a month. They decide that they no longer want to accept payments and demand that the remaining balance be paid in full. In my opinion, they probably had somebody else interested in buying OUR car. read more

Even tough I didnt buy anything and I took a long time to orientate the guys still remained very friendly. These guys will not push you anywhere. You can make as many testrides as you want. I'm very surprised to read the review from Bryan P. I have been a customer of this dealership for over a year and think this is the best dealership in the Austin area. I hate to say that I have been late a couple of times with my payment but a quick call to the owner was all it took for him to work with me and to thank me for communicating with him. I have however always maintained my car insurance as it's required by law. Unfortunately I think that Bryan P has some other underlying stuff going on as everyone I know loves this dealership. DON'T do it. The owner. Steve is a THIEF. Put down $2500 down to drive truck off lot. With in a week truck transmission was slipping and was over heating. Emailed dealer asking if the onsite mechanic could take a look at it. NO RESPONSE. 2 weeks after the down payment I gave them another $400. I was scheduled to make a payment on a Friday 2 weeks from then. I get a voicemail telling me I am $600 behind on down payment a week later. On the 29th day I wake up and it was gone. Repoed in less than 30 days over $600 bucks, WITHOUT any kind of notice informing one that it was in repo status or chance to correct before it got worst. I then called and was informed that I could not get it back, by Steve. So I am out $2900 bucks for a truck that was driven for 3 weeks. By law dealer has to inform you before it reaches repo stage and give the buyer a chance to correct loan. HE DID NOT. Never once did he inform me that it was in repo stage, going to be in repo stage, close to repo stage, or anything of the such. He out right STOLE $2900 bucks from my family. Glad I could help him out. He is NOT a family man, he couldn't CARE LESS about any ones family, he will LIE to you for the sale. He is a CON. Just wants your money and NOT to be trusted.
