Also, quick note: if you're going to collect someone's personal financial information, the bare minimum expectation is professionalism and follow-through--not a live-action game of "whoever gets here next wins." After waiting nearly a year and a half with little to no meaningful communication, I was eventually told that allocations were closed. At that point, I was only refunded $1,000 that had been applied toward the actual vehicle, while the remaining situation surrounding the original $10,000 raised serious concerns. To make matters worse, instead of properly resolving the issue, I was then pushed toward buying two used cars as a way to "make up" for what happened. That was never the agreement. I ultimately took my business elsewhere and purchased a Ferrari instead. This wasn't about the money -- it was about principle, transparency, and ethics. The way this was handled felt manipulative and misleading, and I would never do business with this dealership again, even if they offered me a car for free.
