So my experience was excellent. I have never bought from a used car place before. I was apprehensive. I did lots of research on the place. And as all, found some good and bad reviews. I went to BBB and found no complaints filed. First I reached out via their e-mail to discuss the car. Everything was favorable so I decided to go onsite. Ray was an easy going gentleman that allowed me to take the car for a spin. There was absolutely no pressure. I looked at the car in/out. I was even told I could bring my own mechanic. I did not. After a bit, I elected to make that cash purchase. Yes, cash brings with it an additional discount!!! I went to their main location on 53rd and met with Mike. He had me out of there in less than 45 minutes. Again no pressure, no additional let me sell you this or that. While I can presume most purchasers, as myself, sign the Buy in As Is Condition, from a legal standpoint, the dealer doesn't have to take any further action. We're sold a vehicle in as is condition. However, Mike advised that if I noted any issues within the next week to not hesitate to contact him. And I can say, I noted nothing. I went to PepBoys for an oil change and had them check it out. They called me in under the car and told me I had all sorts of oil/transmission leaks and that I was in the thousands for repairs. Yes, it did alarm me. Fact is, in the 3 days it sat in my driveway, there was not a single drop of fluid. I won't go on about my thoughts after that with PepBoys, that's a separate issue. Within a couple of days I contacted Mike, he asked me to bring it in and they would check it out. I arranged leaving the car. And I was concerned that this could go into weeks, months, etc. I provided him the details of what PepBoys found. BUT within a few days not only was I kept informed of what they found, but of them wrapping it up and returning it to me. (Drop off a Saturday and pick up on Tuesday.) Note, the findings were not as treacherous as PepBoys led me to believe. I have since monitored the car for leaks again. It drives as smooth as when I got it. Mike (R&D) kept his word and took care of my car purchase. I talked to Rosey on the line and she was quite courteous and responsive to whatever I needed. In my opinion, my purchase was smooth, a great price and their customer service was honorable. This place is highly recommended. Bravo zulu for taking care of me!!!

I recently bought an Infinity FX35 from R&D Motors. Had the friendliest sales man and easiest purchase experience of my life. Even after buying the vehicle AS IS I noticed a concern with the vehicle and called, they immediately (same day) took it into the shop to address it. I am extremely happy with the service I've had and continue to have. Thank you guys, I appreciate y'all!

When I saw my VW Beetle online on their website I knew that I wanted it. I purchased the car with 1500 down and they let me drive the car off the lot. They had only bought my car 3 days prior to my first visit. There were multiple issues with the car... Unwarranted and warranted issues that resulted in signing a ''we owe you'' contract stating that my check engine light was on amongst other things that they needed to fix... More issues started coming about only two to three months into my contract with R&D Motors after I have expressed my concern over the phone and in person none of my needs have been met with this car and getting it squared away to zero so that I can have a reliable transportation car. Upon me expressing my concerns about my car the staff seem to be agitated which resulted in them calling the cops on me because I demanded to speak with the owner. At this point I still haven't spoke with the owner there seem to be no options into getting my car on the road or moving forward with this process as I am[ still paying my car notes to them till this day. There has been absolutely 0 steps taken to remedy the situation. I was told the owner was not in and i would have to come back when they call me to let me know that he is in the office. For these reasons totally unspecified with all of the other mess that happened on my visit, is what drove me to write a review followed by videos. I took the steps to buy the car that I wanted to own. This car lot has made it a nightmare situation. The customer service here is very poor and I pray that nobody else get caught up in this kind of situation with these people. I just want to speak to the owner at this point. Needless to say, my car still doesn't have tags and is now undrivable in their shop. They arr trying to make me pay for repairs they never fixed in the first place. Note to owner: You don't need a staff if they can't be honest and respectful to the customer's that walk in looking to do business.

It was a "unicorn" vehicle - rare in existence - an older model, incredibly low mileage, in fantastic shape (barely driven) and the listed price was in the KBB green price range (either good or great price for the vehicle's value). I reached out to Mark, who was quick to answer any and all my questions. I was in Houston and I couldn't make the trip to Austin to see the vehicle until the weekend, but he graciously agreed to hold the vehicle for me without any downpayment once I had set an appointment for a third party inspection. Despite receiving other inquiries about the vehicle, he held it for me for almost a week and even stayed a little late on Friday for my husband's and my arrival into town. The test drive and purchase process were smooth and straightforward. Mark explained everything thoroughly and even went the extra step of fixing the temporary paper license plate on top of an old metal plate to make it more secure. It's another example of Mark's great customer service. Like his great communication from start to finish - phone calls and text messages were always answered promptly. He is good-natured and honest, which is hard to find in the car shopping business. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!

I asked him about getting recalls done in my home in my driveway. This is something they just started doing so a lot of of the Ford employees may not be aware so if they don't offer this option to you, ask them about it. They'll do the recall in your driveway unless it needs to go to them. And if it does need to go all the way back to Connick Lane they don't care they will come out. They will pick up your car. They will service it the way you needed it and they will bring it back home for you free of charge!! I know for me I have CIDP which makes the nerves in my legs. Very tired after 20 minutes of driving. And Leif Johnson Ford on Coney Lane is where I bought my beautiful 2016 Mustang brand new back then. But now that they have this great new service for people in need for either handicap, disabled, or other. Please share this with your friends and family that all Ford dealers will be doing this! And again, like I said it's brand new so a lot of of the people you may talk to to make a service call may not be aware so just remind them of what you've read here and then somebody will be able to fix it for you. All free of charge. This company is an amazing location. I just wish it was closer to me. I'm all the way in Kyle and they're coming all the way out from Coney Lane. I then proceeded to walk over to the cashier area where the lady there asked if I had been helped, and I said, "No!". She proceeded to ask one of the four service men sitting doing absolutely nothing! The cashier asked If someone could help me and no one said a word. I then walked out the front door and got into my car peacefully. It was after I got into my car that I saw an attendant trying to approach my car. They were rude and disrespectful! After I got into my car I drove straight over to Manor Rd. Ford Riata Dealership where AJ there sold me a brand new 2025 Ford Explore. I will NEVER go back to that location again!!!!My money spends good anywhere, I have excellent credit and have purchased over 6 vehicles from Ford within 10 years. I was also scheduled to meet with Scarlet (Norma) this day to purchase a nee car at the 290 location but I was so disappointed in your staff's customer service that I refused to purchase anything from your store. I should return my new car and not purchased from Ford at all!!!!! Because the folks at Riata were so kind and professional, I couldn't punished them for your lazy crew members actions. We negotiated the consignment contract. If you have a unique car or a reserve price, don't hesitate to brainstorm terms with Daniel. He's creative and a real capitalist entrepreneur! Office facilities are professional. Cars are kept in the office building parking garage. His team marketed and sold my LS500 in about 20 days. Marketing included extensive photos taken at the office building. Every car will take a different amount of time. The LS500 is a huge and interesting sedan that doesn't appeal to everyone, If you have a hyper-popular car, expect Daniel's team to sell it much, much faster. Receipt of funds was easy- Daniel provided a check to me once the buyer's funds had cleared Signature's account. I had traded in a perfect condition Audi Q5 to a car that now after 60 days I'm getting quoted over 4-6 thousand in repairs. And after getting quoted for how much dealers are willing to pay for the car I'm down over 20k on what I bought the car for from him. Please bring a mechanic or someone to inspect the car he is selling you. Out of many used cars I have owned I have never felt this cheated out of money.

We just financed a car from Texas Honda and we are paying way too much in APR from the bank that…read moreloaned us money, not the issue, we needed a car ASAP and have to suck it up because of the credit score. The issue lies with the complete lack of communication and things they said they'd do and did not. We were supposed to pick up the car on Tuesday when they said it would be ready. They communicated through text and on paper that the issue with TPMS light would be fixed, and the ac would be fixed as well as regular maintenance, as well as a detail of the car, oil change ect would be done by Tuesday. They did not communicate with us that it would in fact not be read, we reached out to them they said nope tomorrow, never heard back the next day so we reached out they said nope tomorrow for sure. All times we had to be the ones to call and text which I understand they are busy people but we just spent money and we expect things to be ready when they said they'll be or at least be communicated with and not left in the dark. Before we picked up the car we also tried to reach out and get a copy of the financial documents because we wanted to arrange our schedules and get everything squared away with payments, they said they'd contact the finance department about sending us the info, they never did. When we reached out the day a few hours into the day to see if they were able to get ahold of the department on sending us the information they told us the person in charge of our documents left early for the day. Again left in the dark about that. When we showed for the car we were able to see the documents but when asked if we could get a copy of everything they said they had already made copies and just handed us some flash drive we have no way of looking at. When we finally got the car the issue with the TPMS light was not fixed they said they got the wrong part so we can come back....To call them or text them Saturday morning to see if the part had arrived, so we did they said nope try again Monday. So we tried again Monday (Today) Person in charge of letting us know if the part had arrived or not basically said I'm actually out until NEXT Saturday so try again then..... or just show up and ask the maintenance guy in charge. We did not want to make the drive for no reason if the part hadn't arrived or he wasn't there. So we called, many times, were transferred many times. No one ever answered, weird because there's always at least 10 people just chatting in the front. Showed up and the guy there (different sales person) has no idea any of this was happening ,our sales person never let anyone know anything before dipping for a week. The AC was also never fixed, Sunday afternoon when we were running errands air would blow but it wouldn't get cold. We were sitting there sweating. The AC repair was written into their "WE OWE YOU" form stating our AC would be good and fixed at pick up. It's not fixed. Probably a leak or something from a line. So desperate for them to fix the issue we want to have our mechanic fix it and just bill Honda because when we Brought that up to them and they're saying they don't have anything on file about our AC. This whole dealership is unprofessional and sold us a car that needed repairs. We did not agree to buy "AS-IS" we were told those issues would be fixed and I've got texts that prove it. We will both be submitting complaint about everything so far from this dealership to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles as well as the Better Business Bureau.
