I waited to write my review intentionally, but on my second time getting an oil change through this place and having a horrible experience twice it's time. We used to go to the amazing Cedar Park location for servicing, but have moved in the area in the past year and it is more convenient here. I was at the location for over 3hours waiting for just an oil change and inspection per my service matience package scheduled for 1:30pm. A routine task that takes 15-30 minutes. After over an hour and half I asked if they had an update because I waiting patiently for a long time for a quick service for them to tell me all day they have been down a bay and behind. Why would you not tell me when I checked in or really any point while I'm waiting? They tell me I'm still in line and they haven't even seen/started my car yet! They go to check with the mechanics and they come back and say 40 More minutes after I have been stranded at the dealership for 2 hours at this point already. They say they can pull my car and I can reschedule. How does that help me? I'm out of all of this time for work unexpectedly already and then have to come back another day and hope it goes faster when I have had long wait times both times. There wasn't that many customers and tons of inside sales employees sitting around talking. The last time I waited for a long time too for the same service and they tried to get me to agree to add services on while I was waiting instead of just doing what I scheduled. At this point it will be better for my time and sanity to just drive back to Cedar Park for service rather than deal with Lost Pines Toyota. read more

Fantastic no nonsense car buying experience. Husband and I came in late on a Tuesday evening when it was raining so there was hardly anyone around so we didn't have to flag someone down or fight to get attended to. I may have helped that I had put in an email about a car I was interested in, and my husband had called in around the same time too. Lol. They were super quick on responding to my email and wanted to schedule a time for me to come in later in the week, but I was ready the same day. We were told to talk to Jimmy. And right when we walked in Jimmy Voight was ready to help. He was so helpful without being pushy! I HATE going to car dealerships because it can be a nightmare how much they try to get into your space and get as much money from you as they can. He talked with us a bit and understood we were there to buy immediately and asked if we wanted a test drive. I had already driven the same model so we were set. He pulled up a price for us, worked with us a bit based on what we were looking for and we were set. Then we were handed of Daniel Ramirez of the finance side. Daniel knew I was pre-approved through my bank. After hearing my terms he knew that was going to be as good a loan as I could get and went and got the paperwork ready. He was fast and friendly, chatting with hubs and I about where we were from and even the weather as he went over all the terms of the agreements and the things we needed to sign. I got my serviced here about 2-3 months ago, decided to go to a different dealership bc this place had absolutely terrible service. Well now the new dealership is having issues taking off the oil filter bc they over tightened it. They also over tightened the drain plug. The 2 biggest rookie moves. So a rundown,they over charged me, overfilled my engine oil, didn't even turn off the maintenance light, didn't put air in my tires, and didn't even do a correct inspection. I am saddened to write this because I have been a customer since this dealership opened. The service department has progressively gone downhill the past 2 years. All the service advisors are new and appear to be female. I'm unsure how they managed to run off every service advisor in the past 2 years but they have. Today, I had an appointment for an oil change and after waiting for an hour I checked on my vehicle to find it had not even been looked at and was in line behind 4 additional cars that were in line before me for an oil change. This is not the first time this has happened but it will be the last. I left and went to Oil Changers and my oil change was completed in 15 minutes. A lot faster than waiting on Lost Pines. Don't be fooled into thinking having an appointment means anything at this place and plan to wait several hours for work to be done. read more

I have bought several vehicles since then and recently popped in just for a conversation & advice from my friend. Q is truly a good man and I can't wait till my new Camry comes in. But following the news, I knew obtaining one in 2023 was a long shot. I initially inquired at the Toyota dealership closest to my house and was told they had a waitlist and it cost $500 to get on it. They also said I'd be waiting months and they had no idea when a Prius close to my specifications would come in. All the other dealerships in and around Austin told me the same. But Michael told me something totally different. He asked me what my specifications were, did some research, and found my car! It's not my experience, but that of an elderly lady I know. She took her vehicle to Lost Pines Toyota for an oil chance. During the oil change, something happened to cause a break in the oil pan. The car was then pushed out of the bay and the lady was told that Lost Pines did not have the part needed to repair her vehicle. Lost Pines then rented her a vehicle until hers could be fixed. She was charged for the rental, for the repair to her vehicle and for the oil change. I would not recommend the service department to anyone. I recently looked for a vehicle and almost purchased a used Tundra at Lost Pines, but because of this type of customer service, I shopped and bought elsewhere. Let the buyer and the person needing vehicle repair beware! Lost Pines should not have charge for the rental or the repair and should have written off the oil change too. It shouldn't be hard for Lost Pines to figure out who the customer is ...at least I hope not. How many folks go to Lost Pines for an oil change and end up having to go home in a rental? read more

I made it to the dealership and Michael had the car I wanted to look at ready to test drive. Michael was helpful and answered all of my questions. We negotiated a deal to my satisfaction in less than an hour. Shortly after that I worked with Kalyan Tiner who walked me through the documentation quickly and professionally. My daughter bought a used peace of crap from Lost pines Toyota, she has took it back three times since she bought it. Now they say the frame is bint and some other stuff is wrong. Now they say it will cost 2000 dollars to fix it. They say it wasn't damaged when she bought it, that she did it. She works from home really. Purchased a car a little over a month ago (a certified Toyota) and have been having issues with the heated seats not working, dash cam issues, and shorts in the electric lights and usb. Have had it confirmed at two locations. Come to find out the seats were redone in a material that doesn't transfer heat I have called multiple times over the last two weeks to have this issue resolved and am met with "we will leave a message" nothing but crickets. Both times I dropped my cars off at 8:30am for a state inspection and oil change. BOTH experiences took over 8 hours, never received calls when they were done, and the last time I went to pick up they were closed and still had my car! I took the truck home and found out that the truck's rear bumper support brace were crumpled then straighten. The most recent post however, was at least a year old. So I figured, it wouldn't hurt to at least go check out the vehicle, especially since I'd already been shopping around. We met with Sebastian Soto, Product Specialist. He was very responsive, considerate and patient. He took his time to work with us, getting us quite the deal on top of an already great price on my Subaru Forester. Additionally, Caitlin in Finance got me a very competitive APR rate, almost half what I was pre-approved for by my own "military service bank". Needless to say, I was comfortable the entire time. I didn't get any case of the nerves like I normally do when it comes to negotiating a deal. One thing I didn't like was the mandatory car tracking service. It was tacked on on top of the car price, so it was taxed along with it too. I do understand the importance of it. After all, with "dealership financing" they need to protect their investment.
