I bought a battery at AutoZone almost 2 years ago and it had a three year warranty. My car would not start this morning so after we jumped it, I took it over to AutoZone in Bastrop and they were more than happy to swap out the battery at no charge to me. I would definitely recommended this AutoZone because they were efficient and friendly. read more

I thought it would be a very simple process by walking into an AutoZone located at 549 State Highway 71 W in an effort to place an order for a belt tensioner. However, this is not case. I asked, when can I expect the belt tensioner to arrive. The young man, who claimed to be the Store Manager said, he wasn't sure. However, pointed out several available possibilities including by paying more to receive the tensioner by September 23-25, 2025. Since, there was not an available employee or Manager to share with me an expected time of arrival. I decided to return back to the AutoZone Hub located at 600 W William Cannon Road in Austin Tx. However, on Friday, Sept. 20, 2025, after 6:00 p.m. I received a voice message from a person by the name of Ashley who appeared to be calling on behalf of an AutoZone stating, my part is received/in at AutoZone. I was left with an impression, however, the AutoZone Hub located at 600 W William Cannon Rd. This was eventually not the case later revealed by a Store Manager by the name of Ramiro De La Garza. De La Garza stated, the part is still in Bastrop Texas. And the only way, I can return the part is to go all the way back to Bastrop Texas, where the item was purchased. You have several people standing around all claiming to be managers, however, there's not anyone who understands or speaks fluent English in effort to help a customer here in America. There is something wrong, when you see a company stock at $4140.36 with people hired not being able to speak or write in English at several AutoZone locations. read more

I was helped by Fernando with my headlights. My car requires unscrewing everything and popping the bumper off to get to the lights. Any other place would tell me that it's too much labor to do in the parking lot. I agree with that 100% but Fernando gladly offered to spend 40+ minutes working, because he wants to be a mechanic. I told him I understand if it's too much, but he insisted. Absolutely solid work ethic and attitude. AutoZone has been my place no matter where I go, because everyone employed actually loves cars. My check engine light came on. Ran the code at home and looked up what part I needed. Called NAPA (they were very helpful) but sadly I could not get the part for 7-10 days. So I called autozone. The First Gentleman who helped me was great and quoted me $50-$80 for the part. I called back not even 30mins later to order the part and the next guy who answered was rude and I was on hold for over 20min (but it's customer service I get it so I was trying to be patient). Between quoting me $180 for the wrong part he was talking to another co worker about taking a lunch brake and how rude the last costumer was (I could hear it all), it all ended with him telling me I just needed to come in. I went in and ordered the part in person (there was some confusion but we found it). I was told it would be in by 4pm and they would call me. 4:30pm comes and no call. Another 22min on hold and it is in thankfully. All the workers but the one have been friendly, but unless I really need something no one else can give me, I don't think I'll be back... read more

I was having trouble figuring out where to go to get my headlight fixed and thankfully I got to buy the right headlights at this AutoZone and a nice gentleman help me install my new headlight I'm very thankful of how fast it was and how nice the worker was would definitely come here again, thank you again wish I got his name but I hope he knows he helped me a lot today. read more

Went in for an AC blower motor. Johnny, who said he was the manager checked me out. I attempted do pay with split charge. First portion of payment went through on my card, the remainder I tried on several good cards but the system wouldn't process it. No problem, just asked Johnny if I could refund the first charge. He said there was no way for him to cancel the charge and no other option but to walk out and do a charge back with my credit card company. We called the customer service line who was helpful in informing Johnny on the idea that there is a help line he can call when he runs into problems beyond his scope of knowledge. He called the help desk and they informed us the first charge will be automatically refunded since the transaction didn't complete. That's great, problem solved. Then Johnny tried to claim that's what he was informing us of the whole time saying "that's what I was trying to tell you bro". Johnny, I'm not your bro and I will never step foot in that Auto Zone again because of how rude you were and how condescendingly wrong you were. read more

After searching the AZ website, we found the XYS XX-32 hydraulic fluid we were looking for in a 5 gal size. My son called and the woman that answered there said, yes we have it. Upon arrival, the person that we were waited on by, said no, I'm sorry we don't have it. 10 mile round trip wasted. No sure what has happened to this Store - normally does a good job, but something has changed for the worst. Went in today looking for some step pads to replace those deteriorating on my pickup step bars. One person up front heading out to help customer in lot. Nobody else around....few minutes later several employees came out from the back, in a pack. Company meeting or something I am guessing. I get someone who has no idea where to find what I needed... he looked on the computer, took me to the shelves, back to the computer.... all this while having to leave me and enter passwords for the other employees trying to get onto the terminals.... after the fourth or fifth password interruption by other employees and seeing my counter person was going to be unable to find the step pad I needed, I told him to take care of the password needs and I left... very disappointed in seeing this happen in this store.... They are normally pretty helpful, but this guy with the password key does the store a disservice. read more
