I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. We have reached out multiple times to Ashton in finance, Elmer in sales, and even Mark the general manager--none have responded. Our lender confirmed they have received nothing from the dealership. Yet, the general manager, Mark seems to have plenty of a time replying to reviews here on Google if he thinks they can get the dealership a sale. At this point, it appears the issue is being ignored rather than resolved. We are now escalating through formal channels. Buyers should be cautious do not sign any of their contracts unless additional packages have been removed accordingly. ***AVOID ROUND ROCK TOYOTA***

He conducted a demo drive with us and helped us become familiar with its many features and their cost. Pricing was transparent and fair, and the financing familiarization and finalization conducted by the Finance Manager, Ken Caldwell, was quick and painless. Unfortunately, we experienced electronic problems with this particular vehicle from the outset, and the car was in and out of maintenance for the first six weeks of our ownership. We were grateful that we were provided a loaner while the issues were being worked. After two+ months of deepening frustration on our part as well as the members of the Service Department team led by our Service Manager, Will Turner, we were ready to give up. It seemed there was no way to fix this seemingly unresolvable problem. Then the General Manager of the dealership, Raymond Carrigan, stepped in and helped us find an alternate path to addressing this problem. He and his management team offered us a new 2026 Elantra with very generous purchase terms along with the trade-in of our problem child. A day later we received our new car. Both Alejandro and Jonathan Barrera, another Sales Consultant, did an excellent job of introducing us to our new car and insured we were happy as we drove away. It took a few weeks, but this Dealership went the extra mile to find a solution that finally resulted in a very satisfied customer. We are really enjoying our new ride!

There were no overheating issues or coolant leaks before bringing it in. After picking up my vehicle and driving home, it overheated on that same drive. I checked and found that the coolant was low. This is after paying for a service that advertises a multi-point inspection, which clearly was not performed. I had to tow the vehicle back at my own expense. At that point, I was told the technician was new and had not topped off fluids or completed the inspection. Shortly after, that explanation changed to "it's due to age and mileage," and the dealership refused to take any responsibility. Let's be clear: The vehicle was returned to me in an unsafe condition, without proper fluids, after a service that should have included basic checks. It overheated immediately after leaving. That is not a coincidence. Because of this, I was without my vehicle for 14 days, paid for a second tow, and was then charged over $3,000 for a radiator that failed after the overheating incident. The fact that they admitted the technician didn't perform routine checks, and still refused to take accountability, says everything about how this place operates. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before bringing your vehicle here.

Right from the jump, he was incredibly straightforward. There was zero pressure, zero hassle, and absolutely no need to waste time haggling over the price. He gave it to us straight, which is so rare and refreshing in the car-buying world. ​Our Finance Manager, Michael was equally amazing. Financing a vehicle can usually feel like pulling teeth, but Michael made it a breeze. He was efficient, thorough, and just a great guy to talk to. ​I still can't believe it, but we spent a grand total of only three hours at the dealership. That included the test drive of three used Sequoias, picking the one we liked out of the three, the vehicle inspection, and getting all the final paperwork squared away with finance. We've all heard or experienced the horror stories of spending 6 to 8 hours at a dealership, but Chris and Michael valued our time and had us on the road in a flash. What stood out to us the most was the sheer respect we received. Walking into dealerships can sometimes feel intimidating, but Chris and Michael provided a truly delightful customer experience without a single ounce of judgment or prejudice. I will not be doing business with this dealership again and strongly caution others to be very careful if they choose to do so. My wife and I came in to test drive a car and, after the test drive, submitted a credit application--explicitly authorizing a credit pull--with the clear intent to purchase the vehicle. We were told everything was in order and scheduled an appointment the following morning for my wife to move forward with financing and paperwork. At no point were we informed that the vehicle was still at risk of being sold. While my wife was on her way to completing the financing process, she received a call informing her that the vehicle had been shown to another couple and sold. This occurred despite our salesperson clearly communicating to management that this deal was essentially set. That information was dismissed, and management allowed another salesperson to show and sell the vehicle without extending us even the courtesy of a phone call to give us the opportunity to finalize the purchase--which we absolutely would have done. I work with dealerships regularly in my profession, and while you hear stories like this, you hope they are exaggerated or rare. Unfortunately, this experience proved otherwise. When I raised the issue with management, the response felt scripted, dismissive, and entirely policy-driven, with no ownership or genuine concern for how poorly this was handled. It became very clear that the priority was selling the vehicle as quickly as possible, regardless of fairness, professionalism, or existing commitments. The message sent was simple: once a faster or more convenient sale appears, an active and committed customer is expendable. That reflects a lack of integrity in both process and leadership. I previously had a positive experience purchasing from Toyota of Cedar Park, which makes this situation even more disappointing. This was not a failure of the salesperson I worked with--it was a management decision, and it speaks volumes about how business is conducted there. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. If you choose to do business here, proceed with caution and do not assume that verbal assurances, credit applications, or scheduled appointments mean anything unless a deal is fully executed. This dealership and its management team should be ashamed of themselves!

    One Star - If I Could Give Zero, I would!…read more I told Jarrett EXACTLY what was wrong with my car and gave him the codes straight from AutoZone. He insisted on charging me $75 to "diagnose" it himself, only come back with the same information I had already told him. Total waste of money. Then he claimed two parts needed replacing - one of which had already been replaced recently. He brushed it off as "defective" and said he'd change it out so the check engine light would turn off. It didn't. Not even close. Next, he said I needed yet another part that I'd have to hunt down myself at a junkyard or eBay. When I asked him - the mechanic - to get the part, he reluctantly agreed, as if doing his actual job was a burden. I told him I would pick up my car at noon on Saturday. Instead, he shut the shop down early because "business was slow," even though their posted hours are 9-4. Then he told me to come on Sunday. On Sunday, he wouldn't even bother showing up and told me to just send him money through Cash App and take my car. Funny how that option magically wasn't available the day before. Days passed. No update. I contacted him - he fed me some story about waiting on a call from "the Ford guy." More days passed. I called again. The call disconnected right when I said who I was. He never responded to my follow-up message. Completely ghosted. So here I am: check engine light still on, problem still unresolved, and $250 gone for absolutely nothing. Great job, Jarrett. I'll never see you again - and that's a promise. And for anyone reading: take a hard look at the "five-star reviews." A bunch are from first-time reviewers and/or people who only had easy jobs done - like replacing headlights. Nothing major. Save your car, your wallet, and your sanity. Go somewhere else.
